My name is David, and I am the CEO of Feed Israel.
In the past few months, the pandemic shattered the Israeli economy, where virtually a quarter of the population is now unemployed. Thousands of families are facing new struggles with food access and security, millions found themselves in strict isolation including immune-compromised and elderly.
Feed Israel has been on a mission to end hunger in Israel for almost a decade, by executing food distribution programs in places where it is most needed. Every month we deploy teams of volunteers that deliver over 350,000 meals to the less fortunate. We also join forces with the welfare departments of municipalities to cut the red tape and improve food-related policies.
In the light of the pandemic and its devastating effects, we partnered with Elijah List to get our message across to you, the lovers of Israel. The effects of the pandemic and the lockdowns are clearly devastating, so we need your support to continue our work.
