"God Showed Me the Key to Successful Transition"

Dear Saints,

Many of us have felt a pull over the last few days to get matters settled in the spirit. The pull is coming from the Holy Spirit and its purpose is to prepare the Church for a great coming season of transition. I myself have certainly felt this pull to come away with the Lord. As I went away and prayed, I saw visions of mantles and scepters that the Lord will give to His people as this transition takes place. Many people are being prepared and have been through a major process of growth for this to happen.

The Key to Transition

In my prayers I asked God for the key that the Church needs to make the transition well, and He took me to the Scriptures in John 1, which a guest speaker at my church had recently touched on. These Scriptures tell the story of John the Baptist, his disciples and the early days of Jesus' ministry.

John the Baptist heralded the greatest transition in history; the point when Jesus the Messiah was revealed. John was the voice of one crying out in the wilderness, "Prepare the way of the Lord!" John had disciples, and they knew his message. He had prepared them in the knowledge that the Messiah was coming, and that transition was about to take place. Soon enough, the time came when Jesus was revealed by the Holy Spirit falling on Him as a dove as He came up from His baptism. Later, when John saw Jesus, he told the two disciples that were with him, "Behold, the Lamb of God!" When these disciples heard John honor Jesus publicly, they followed Jesus. Jesus saw them and asked them, "What do you want?" (John 1:38). They asked to see where He was staying, and He allowed them. They spent the day with Him and their lives were changed forever.

When they went to Jesus' place they would have seen its modesty and its imperfections, and all the signs of His humanity in the way that He lived. They would have seen aspects of His day-to-day life that would make Him appear somehow ordinary, showing various shortcomings in His natural environment. However, because they were prepared well, they didn't come in a critical spirit or question His divine nature based on what they saw. Rather, they understood the unique opportunity of being allowed behind the scenes and into the Messiah's dwelling place on Earth. They recognized that by valuing and honoring the privilege of being with the Lord in His personal and private space, they would receive a world-changing anointing. They did, and we are here because of them.

The key to successful transition is honor. To receive the mantle and scepter, we must move beyond a critical spirit and the desire to bring another person down to our own level. You must be able to see the divine assignment and identity that others carry and be able to honor it, in order for you yourself to move into a higher assignment and identity.

The Lord Is Releasing a Spirit of Honor & Prophetic Keys

The Lord cannot bring you behind the scenes of a historical moment simply for you to waste it by criticizing what you see based on your own habits of comparison and judgment. This has caused hurt and pain in the Body of Christ in the past, where great men and women of God have opened up their personal spaces to create opportunity for impartation, and many have missed a key moment of transition. But not this time!

The Lord is releasing a spirit of honor and prophetic keys to enable His Church to transition well for what is about to come. Whatever door you step through and whatever place you come into, behold the Lamb of God and see with the eyes of the Spirit what He is doing in that moment, so that you don't miss it. A Word for Itinerant Ministers

I also felt the Lord saying that speakers with itinerant ministries that go from church to church to earn a living have an important role to play in this season. It is key that these ministries, as they move around, bring about unity and not division within the Body of Christ, and help to build momentum rather than hinder any move of God.

We are to build and not destroy the Body of Christ, no matter what we come across and no matter the conflict or issue. You must seek out today's daily bread from the Lord and not simply present yesterday's message again – out of honor for what the people of God carry. The right words in season will bring about healing, restoration, transformation, correction and increase.

We have gone through many different challenges to prepare for the transition that is now here, and we will not miss it. Let honor and unity arise, and let the new anointing be our portion! In Jesus' mighty name!
