I love the times when God is speaking and it feels that He is so near you can feel His breath. There is nothing better than that. I wish I could live in those seasons every single day, but just as there are seasons on Earth, there are also seasons in the spirit. Recently, I have been studying the words "recovery" and "restoration."
Recovery and Restoration
Recovery is restoration. Restoration is defined in Strong's Concordance as "to restore, give back, set up again, restore to its original position or condition; restore back to original standing that existed before a fall; re-establish, returning back to the (ultimate) ideal; restore back to full freedom (the liberty of the original standing); to enjoy again, i.e. what was taken away by a destructive or life-dominating power."
Many times this year I have heard it prophesied that 2020 will be a year of recovery and restoration. I don't know about you, but that sounds good to me!
Release of of Promises Fulfilled
There is another word I am hearing in my heart these days; it is the word "release." It seems to pop up everywhere. I am hearing "release" and "divine release" weekly.
Then a friend sent an email; a game changer. In this email was yet another word that jumped in my spirit. It was "fulfillment." Ah, it was all coming together. I now knew how to pray, for you and for me.
It is a time of recovery and restoration. A time of divine release of the fulfillment of all God has vowed and promised in His Word and in prophetic words.
The Bible tells us there is a set time of favor in God. I believe we are in that set time. It's time for recovery in the Body of Christ. It is time for restoration of all things that you have lost or that the enemy has stolen from you. It's time.
What Will We Recover?
So then, what do we have a Blood-bought right to when it comes to restoration? Let's take a look!
• Recover lost and broken relationships (Jer. 29:14, 2 Cor. 5:18)
• Recover delayed promises (2 Cor. 1:20)
• Recover the spirit and gift of faith (Rom. 1:17, Ps. 23:3)
• Recover the miracle of healing (Jer. 30:17)
• Recover spiritual stability (1 Sam. 7:11-14, Ps. 62:2)
• Recover financial stability (Mal. 3:10, 2 Chron. 20:6)
• Recover joy (Neh. 8:10)
• Recover wasted years (Joel 2:25)
• Recover your prophetic call (Ps. 105:19)
• Recover lost sheep (1 Sam. 17:34-37)
• Recover the blessing of God (Deut. 28:13)
• Recover all (1 Sam. 30)
Praise the Lord, it is time to recover all!
Go Forth!
I am reminded of a time in the Bible when King David sought God for direction and God told him, "Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all" (1 Sam. 30:8).
I believe He is saying the same thing to us today: "Go forth, press into God, declare His promises, for you shall surely recover all!"
It's time for recovery and restoration in the Kingdom of God. I will recover all. You will recover all. We have His word on it.
