"Prophecy Decoders: U.S. Assassinates General Soleimani, Iranian Terror General"
The breaking news of President Trump's decision to order a "game-changing" U.S. military attack in Baghdad, Iraq, killing Iranian general Qassem Soleimani, the head of the elite Iranian Quds Force (an officially designated terror group), has dominated headline news (see Fox News link below). Soleimani was commander of Iran's military forces in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and elsewhere throughout the Middle East.
In April 2019, the State Department announced Iran was responsible for killing 608 U.S. troops during the Iraq War and that 17 percent of all deaths of U.S. personnel in Iraq from 2003 to 2011 were orchestrated by Soleimani himself. On January 3, 2020, the Times of Israel quotes U.S. Secretary of State Pompeo as saying the military operation to assassinate Soleimani disrupted an "imminent" attack orchestrated by the Iranian general that would have led to many deaths. The world is now on edge as Iran threatens to take forceful revenge for the attack against Soleimani.
During a New Year's Eve service on December 31, 2019, at Lord of Hosts Church in Omaha, Nebraska, Hank Kunneman declared this prophecy below in advance regarding this president, a retaliation, the Middle East and a removal:

As retaliation shall arise through this president to those in other nations who think that they can bring and afflict fear and harm, they shall say, "He is but a warmonger, hungry for war."
God says, "Don't be fooled for I'm going to show you the strength and the power of what I am doing to raise you up even greater United States, that your enemies will begin to fear the name United States again. Do not fear retaliation when you see it before your eyes...But watch what I do in the place of the Middle East. Those who have opposed will be removed."

As prophetic people, we must not fear for we have a prophetic advantage – we have prophetic revelation to help shape our perspective, to understand times and seasons like the children of Issachar so that we can respond to situations correctly.
When this prophecy was given on December 31, 2019, the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad was under siege by militants led by Soleimani. The prophecy by Hank Kunneman says that a "retaliation shall arise through this President," the Middle East, and that "those who have opposed will be removed."
We have seen this play out in the news with the death of Soleimani. It is vital that as Christians, we get God's perspective, not the media or a political spin. Don't let the personal opinion of media pundits or politicians dictate your perspective.
Let your outlook be shaped by what God has revealed regarding His heart and agenda. The prophecy reveals that our enemies will "begin to fear the name United States again." God's agenda is to raise the United States up even greater!
As a prophetic army, we can pray and use prophecy as a weapon against fear. Let's continue to pray for protection for our troops. Recent reports are that around 3,000 U.S. troops are being deployed to the Middle East. We must also pray for Israel, as they will be targeted even more.
Interesting fact – in Arabic, "Jerusalem" is often called "Al-Quds," closely relating to the name of the Iranian state terror group "Quds." Literally, the name of this Iranian terror group itself tells of their intended target – Jerusalem!
We must pray for the peace of Jerusalem! We must also pray for innocent civilians in harm's way in the Middle East and that the light of the Gospel shines down in a fresh way amongst the nations. God always has a plan of redemption for the nations!
