"Experience the Powerful Peace of Jesus"

One of the most incredible gifts I think that Jesus ever gave us wasn't prophecy; it wasn't a word of knowledge, and it wasn't the working of miracles or any of the 9 gifts out of 1 Corinthians 12. It was the peace that He carried which was not from this world.

That same peace, which comes from Heaven and not the world, can cause you to walk through anything this world can throw at you, causing you to come through it not only intact but unscathed by your situation.

The peace of God will not only cause you to be unaffected by your circumstances, but it will create a chain reaction from its atmosphere upon your life to affect your circumstances.

"And a furious storm of wind [of hurricane proportions] arose, and the waves kept beating into the boat, so that it was already becoming filled. But HE [Himself] was in the stern [of the boat], asleep on the [leather] cushion; and they awoke Him and said to Him, 'Master, do You not care that we are perishing?' And He arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, 'HUSH NOW! BE STILL (MUZZLED)!' And the wind ceased (sank to rest as if exhausted by its beating) and there was [immediately] a great calm (a perfect peacefulness)." (Mark 4:37-39, emphasis mine)

While many of us have read the above story, many people still don't realize what Jesus did. He didn't just use His authority to silence the sea and the waves, but He took that peace He carried upon Himself, superimposed it upon the circumstances, and shifted the atmosphere of the sea and the storm!

God's Peace – Your Ally

Jesus told His disciples how to use this same peace:

"Then if indeed that house is deserving, LET COME UPON IT YOUR PEACE [that is, freedom from all the distresses that are experienced as the result of sin]. But if it is not deserving, let your peace return to you." (Matthew 10:13, emphasis mine)

This otherworldly peace has the capability of not just safeguarding you and your life, but also shifting the atmospheres and circumstances wherever you go.

"And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:7)

This powerful peace will bypass your natural understanding because it will be there when you wouldn't normally experience peace. And if you take it, and speak to the storms of your life with it, it will silence those storms around you as well! Whether they are in your life or the lives of those around you, this powerful, heavenly force of God will be your ally when you need it the most and expect it the least!

"Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you..." (John 14:27)

What an ally to have in every situation! Father, send Your peace upon everyone who reads this! Shift their situations and circumstances to the atmosphere of Heaven! Dispel the fear from the storms and the issues and cause everyone of us to operate from this place of supernatural atmosphere like never before, in Jesus' mighty name, amen!
