While I was in prayer, the Lord gave me a prophetic vision. In this vision, I began to see a "merge traffic" sign on this narrow-looking road or highway. When I asked the Lord for the meaning, God began to speak to me about this coming season for the Body of Christ, saying that our decisions will become our destinations.
What we decide in this pivotal season of transition will set the pace for the next several months and even year. God said that we are to finish this year strong.
The enemy will come to try to distract, derail, disturb and disrupt the divine destination and path that God is trying to take us on. I believe the "merge traffic" sign represented the Lord getting the attention of the Body to embrace a time of intentional processing, obeying and taking faith-filled moves on purpose. In addition, I believe He was saying that it's time to transition, shift and change your own course of action.
As we yield to the Holy Spirit's leading, we will begin to slow down, regroup and make wise decision on what to do in this next season. I believe we are in the season of not just the "next," per se, but "right now"! The Lord would have His people make wise and "faith-risk" decisions that will accelerate us into the things He has for us.
Merge
The definition of merge is "to cause, combine, coalesce, unite, blend, or unite gradually."
The Lord desires us to merge into His will and the overall plan that He has for us. Oftentimes, we may be doing things our way, flowing in our own will, wanting the Lord to fulfill it, when we are supposed to pray that God's will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. God is going in one direction and pointing the way, however, there are those who are going in the opposite direction of God in the "two-way traffic" of life. Life happens and our own personal agendas can get in the way, at times causing us to reroute and move in the opposite direction.
God says that in this season as we yield our visions, burdens, dreams, desires and purposes to Him, He will show us the full plan and destination that He wants us to get to. Many of us are going in circles and missing the right turn or exit to get off on. The Holy Spirit is coming abruptly in your life to signal you to merge into the things He has for you. No more spiritual wrecks, collisions and accidents. This is the season to make the right decision, with the Holy Spirit leading.
God wants to get you to your destiny destination safely and on time. The estimated time of arrival (ETA) will be supernatural in this next season. It will be the destiny decisions that you make in this hour that will determine when and how you get there. God said to not take the wide and broad way as others are taking. He is saying to merge this way, which is the narrow way, to fulfill your divine call, purpose and assignment in the earth.
Have you ever driven in a two-way lane and suddenly it turned into a one-way lane? Oftentimes that is how life is. Everything can be going well and then sudden shifts, changes and unpredictable occurrences happen. When the two-way lane suddenly changes to one that means that we have to decide to merge over into the next lane or lane that has become a narrow one.
Get ready for the Lord to merge your vision with His, your desires with His desires, and your will with His will in this season. And together with the help and leading of the Holy Spirit, you will get to the place of prophetic fulfillment with divine acceleration.
The Lord says that He is removing the road blockages, hindrances, demonic detours and distractions that come to slow down your momentum in God. This is the time to fasten your seat belt and get ready to ride the road to success.
God Will Remove Your "Traffic Jams"
There will be no short cuts to fulfilling your God-given dreams and purpose. However, the Lord will remove the traffic jams in your life and the pileups that come to leave you hopeless and fearful. God says that your decision to merge your vision with His will allow you to see clearly. He will remove the people, places and things that come to blur, obscure, impair and block your vision from seeing what's ahead of you.
You are on the road to fulfilling your destiny. You have no time to waste. As He navigates you through life circumstances and situations, you will not run on fumes but Holy Spirit fuel and wisdom.
Destiny Decisions - You Hold the Driver's Key
You don't have to be in a rush. God wants you to rest in Him, take your time, and proceed with caution. God wants you to take the narrow way and merge on to the road of destiny. He is not going to make you get off the exit of your own will; it must be your decision. The gateway is opening and the highway to your purpose is available. What you do, say and decree (decide upon) will be the difference in your life. Take a look at these Scriptures below:
Isaiah 35:8, "And there will be a highway called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not travel it—only those who walk in the Way—and fools will not stray onto it."
Matthew 7:13-14, "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
Luke 13:24, "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able."
Your decisions in this time and season are connected to your destiny. You hold the driver's key to where you want to go in life. The key of success is in your hands. It's up to you what you do with it. God is presently speaking and actively directing, pointing and signaling you to merge onto the one-way lane of purpose that will lead you to success and not failure. Your decrees are what you decide to do.
Job 22:27-28 (BSB) confirms it: "You will pray to Him, and He will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows. Your decisions will be carried out, and light will shine on your ways."
In another translation (NLT) it says: "You will pray to Him, and He will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows to Him. You will succeed in whatever you choose to do, and light will shine on the road ahead of you."
Your godly success is determined by your decisions to obey God's direction, leading and voice in this hour. Merge today and experience the favor and blessings of God tomorrow!
