"I Am Looking at America
Through the Eyes of the Church."
A word through Pastor Denny Cline
God is calling the Church in America back to have her
eyes examined. Just as we have our own natural eyes checked (and after the age
of 40, so many of our eyes take a dramatic turn in quality of vision), so it's
time for many of us to have our spiritual eyes examined.
How do we see America - from the perspective of the church? Since it was God
who appointed America to her place, whose report will we believe regarding America's
future destiny?
In this Word through Pastor Denny Cline, God is offering the church the opportunity
to change the face - and the future of America - by having a current "eye examination."
Even our mouths need a thorough cleaning.

Denny Cline:
Tuesday night the 13th of January, I woke up and decided to worship. As I continued,
this word came to me more clearly than most things I feel or hear from the Lord:
"I am looking at America through the eyes of the church now."
When I asked the Lord what this meant, here are the impressions I received:
1. What the church believes for, America will receive.
2. What the church allows is what America will endure.
3. What the church disallows is what will be prevented.
4. The way the church views America is what she will become.
What do YOUR EYES
SEE?
I thought of the scripture where Jesus told the disciples,
"The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eye is good or clear your whole body
will be full of light. If your eye is unhealthy or evil, your whole body will
be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how
great is that darkness." [Matt 6:22-23]
We Determine the future of America by How we "See"
America
I sensed that we are now in season where God has given the church both the privilege
and responsibility to determine the course of our nation more than ever before.
That course will be determined to a large degree on how we "see" America.
Will we see her destiny through clouded lenses of judgment, unsanctified tolerance,
hopelessness, and defeat? Or will we see God's plan and purpose and the reality
of the kingdom for America.
And What Will We Declare and Decree?
And will we take our mandate as ambassadors of a heavenly government and begin
to pray, decree, and proclaim from a place of hope and victory that comes from
worship and prayer around the throne of heaven?
In effect, I feel the Lord is saying to the church, "What you see is what you
get. What you pray, decree, and proclaim over America, is what will happen in
these days."
There didn't even seem to be an option as to whether or not we would pray, decree,
and proclaim --but a question as to what perspective we would do it from.
Surely we were born for such a time as this.
