WHAT NEXT? Prophesying to That Which Has Died in Your Life, But Needs to Live
A few mornings ago, I was awakened early to prayer and as I lay contemplating whether I should or not, due to the desire to have more sleep, I heard these words deep in my heart, "WHAT NEXT?" I knew it was God and I was taken aback and said what Ezekiel said, "Oh Lord, You know." God asked Ezekiel a question, "Can these bones live?" after Ezekiel was shown a valley full of bones – very dry bones. Ezekiel needed an answer and simply deferred back to God. Clever!
Think about this for a minute – when you pray, do you focus on the present state of the living and the future state of the dead, or the present state of the dead and the future state of the living? When I prophesy I LOOK on the present state of the dead, BUT SEE (FOCUS ON) the future state of the living because what is dead today (spiritually, financially, relationally, etc.) CAN be brought to life!!!!!
When God asks a question, it's not because He doesn't have an answer, but rather He is searching for someone who He can supply the answer to. Also, God looks for someone who has faith and spiritual perception. These two components are required for God to grant you the answers to that question. So when I heard His voice in the early morning saying, "What next?", I knew that He wanted to reveal to me a list of things that were to take place next in my life so I could prepare for it and sow into it.
Do you have an answer to the question, "What next?" Most people would say that it's impossible to know what is the next episode in their lives, but that is not true. It is characteristic of God to show His people what He has planned, or as I've explained before, to show them the next course of events. He can show you this for your life personally and many other things that He wishes to reveal. In my case, I am constantly searching for His next course of events for nations, the economy, presidential candidates, terror groups, etc., and find that I neglect discovering "what's next" for my own personal life.
I am extremely excited about this upcoming prophetic Den broadcast and the question that God has posed to all of us: WHAT NEXT? So this is what I propose we do to honor this provoking question. I want you to take 5 minutes and prepare yourself in this manner. Write down what you feel your "WHAT NEXT" is! THEN, when we gather together on Saturday and the time comes for us to prophesy TOGETHER and the Spirit of God comes upon us to prophesy, then we will shout these out and prophesy to that which is presently dead to bring it back to life.
This is the kind of faith that GOD LOVES! Don't hold back. This is something He instructed me to do today and I will be there with my team prophetically praising and proclaiming and GOD WILL BREATHE THROUGH US.
