I want you to stop and PRAISE GOD! At the end of this
17 day period, I hear the Spirit of God saying, “Praise Me for what I
am doing.” Just imagine corporate praise abounding across this
nation. Let’s praise God for uncovering this lawless act and bringing it
into proper boundaries. The Lord has shown He can do this to the spirit of
lawlessness in America. We are so thankful that the one who was being used
by the enemy to kill and rob life and bring terror in that area was found at
the end of the 17 day period. This shows us that God is doing something in
His people by bringing us into a new place of corporate prayer.
There are some battles that will only be won through our uniting in
corporate prayer in this nation. The power of unity releases an anointing,
and the anointing breaks the yoke. We have grief over the loss of human
life that has occurred through this act, but rejoice that God has stopped
the hand of the enemy.
USSPN Leadership Meeting in Ann Arbor
Tuesday
night and Wednesday we met with the USSPN National, Regional and State
Leadership in Ann Arbor at Apostle Barbara Yoder’s church. God led us to do
prophetic acts surrounding this lawless spirit. Jim Chosa, our Regional
Coordinator for the High Plains region, declared a root of violence had
never been dealt with. Being a Native American leader, he felt he had the
authority to decree that the very root linked with this lawless act would be
pulled up. Notice how the root and stump of the tree in the Tacoma/Seattle
area was actually dug up. Cindy Jacobs led us in tremendous prayer in this
area. And Peter Wagner stood and made the following apostolic declaration,
“I declare that this lawless spirit will no longer be able to operate. I
declare it to stop and be found.” What an incredible meeting. All day on
Wednesday we dealt with issues of our states and nation. We are in an
incredible time of change. The Church is rising to a new level across this
land. Your prayers are causing heaven and earth to meet, and the will of
God to be performed.
Detroit
We are
presently in Detroit, Michigan. Detroit is one of the key cities in
America. I have said since 1992, “How Detroit goes, the nation goes.”
Therefore, we are having a new conference, already scheduled prior to
September 2001, called New Weapons for New Warfare. There are approximately
1500 in attendance. Most importantly, the power of the Holy Spirit is here
to shift our nation at this time. Please review the other prayer focuses
that I have released. We are in a seven year season of war. This is a
Sabbath Day Year. The course set this year will determine the next five
years. God awakened me and showed me the next three years ahead of us. I
will be writing this in detail in one of my prophetic newsletters. I taught
yesterday on “The Mind for War: the Seven Key Issues Necessary to
Prepare and Advance in this Season.” During the night, the Lord
also spoke to me and said, “Secure your testimony of victory with 10
days of praise.”
10 Days of Praise to Secure the Testimony of Victory
Praise
secures our future and brings us into rest. Ruth 3:1 says, “… My
daughter, shall I not seek security for you, that it may be well with you?”
Naomi was committed to earnestly look for and search until the object or
goal that she was seeking had been found. In this case, security means
rest. So Naomi was saying, “Ruth, I will earnestly seek and find you ‘rest’
for your future.” To secure something means to make safe, obtain, fix, or
guarantee. We want to see our testimony of victory fixed securely.
A testimony is a witness or evidence of the revelation of God
becoming manifest. Testimony occurs two ways. You can build a
testament within you from the Word of God. A testimony also occurs
when you prove God as the ultimate overcoming source in your trials or
circumstance. The word testing is part of testimony.
Therefore, when you go through a testing and come out on the other side
victorious, He proves Himself to you. This proof of God is then recorded in
the memory of your spirit. From that memory, when you come in contact with
a situation that you know is contrary to God’s ability, you speak that
testimony forth. What does a testimony do? “And they overcame him by
the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” (Rev 12:11).
It overcomes the devil! Your confession of victory by the Spirit of God out
of your mouth has the power to dismantle demons. That’s why we must allow
the testings we go through to become our testimony. Satan surely doesn’t
want the circumstance we’re in to become a testimony. If a testimony
occurs, then the overcoming power of God’s nature within you will displace
the enemy and overthrow the devil’s strategy within you from that day
forward.
The Power of Praise
Victory
deserves praise. Praise is a response that we should have to God when He
reveals Himself to us. Therefore, praise can occur at the point of
revelation rather than at the actual time of the manifestation of the
promise. As we praise God in advance when He speaks to us or gives us faith
to believe Him for a manifestation of something we desire, He enthrones
Himself or makes Himself King over that situation in our life. Praise
comes from a Latin word meaning “value” or “price.” Thus, to give praise to
God is to proclaim His merit or worth. Many terms are used to express this
in the Bible, including “glory,” “blessing,” “thanksgiving,” and
“hallelujah”. The Hebrew title of the book of Psalms (“Praises”) comes from
the same root as “hallelujah,” and Psalms 113-118 have been specially
designated the “Hallel” (“praise”) psalms. The modes of praise are many,
including the offering of sacrifices (Lev. 7:13), physical movement (2 Sam.
6:14), silence and meditation (Ps. 77:11-12), testimony (Ps. 66:16), prayer
(Phil. 4:6), and a holy life (1 Pet. 1:3-9). Praise is many times linked to
music, both instrumental (Ps. 150:3-5) and vocal. Praise is to originate in
the heart and not become mere outward show (Matt. 15:8). Corporate praise
is to be carried on in an orderly manner (1 Cor. 14:40). Praise is also
firmly linked to an individual’s everyday life (Amos 5:21-24). The Bible
displays outbursts of praise! God takes pleasure and delight in His works
and expects us to express our joy in what He does. The coming of the
kingdom of God into the midst of this world is marked by the restoration of
joy and praise to the people of God (Is. 9:2; Ps. 96:11-13; Rev. 5:9-14; Lk.
2:13-14). Praise arises from sheer joy in the redeeming presence of God (Dt.
27:7; Nu. 10:10; Lv. 23:40). The praise of God is rendered on earth for the
works of creation and redemption (Ps. 24; 136). Praise is an echo on earth
of the praise of heaven (Rev. 4:11; 5:9-10). Praise, distinguishes the
people of God from the heathen who refuse to render it (1 Pet. 2:9; Eph.
1:3-14; Phil. 1:11,Rom. 1:21). The act of praising implies the closest
fellowship with the One who is being praised. C. S. Lewis says, “In
commanding us to glorify Him, God is inviting us to enjoy Him” (C. S. Lewis,
Reflections on the Psalms, 1958, p. 95).
How to Praise for 10 Days
DAY
1: Read Psalm 130; Rev. 2:10. Praise God for removing your past and
extending abundant grace and forgiveness to you. Stand in His Presence and
receive an outpouring of His grace. Let Hope arise new and fresh. Let
assurance of redemption rest upon you, and command all fear to leave you.
DAY
2: Read Psalms 131 – 134. Praise God and let perfect peace manifest in
you. Stop striving and leaning on your own understanding concerning your
circumstances and allow trust to arise. Embrace the faithful love of God.
As a weaned child rests against his mother’s breast, declare your soul is a
weaned child within you. A weaned child has come to a new place of
maturity. There is no peace until all our enemies are under our feet.
Ascend above your enemies and reach the goal of the throne room. Sing,
praise, and worship in the presence of the LORD. Receive a new anointing,
like the oil poured on Aaron’s head and flowing down the hem of his robe.
DAY
3: Read Joshua 5 & 6. Praise God! Ask the Lord for the strategy of
worship that will dethrone that which is invincible in your life and
stopping you from moving forward in your promise.
DAY
4: Read Psalm 34. Praise God for the angels that are encamping around
you.
DAY
5: Read Psalm 85. Praise God for restoring favor to your land.
DAY
6: Read Philippians 4. Thank God for establishing your mind on Him and
making you think His thoughts. Realign your thoughts. Declare that you
will capture each thought you have contrary to God’s judgment.
DAY
7: Read Acts 16:16-34. Praise God and watch your prison doors let go.
Watch salvation come to those around you who are imprisoned.
DAY
8: Read Psalm 9. Be willing to declare to others how the Lord has
touched and manifested Himself to you. Break out of insecurity and into
boldness.
DAY
9: Read Isaiah 12. Numbers 21:10-18. Praise breaks open your wells of
salvation. Praise is the cure for dryness. Receive a renewed spirit!
DAY
10: Read Jeremiah 42:7. “And it came to pass after ten days that the
word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah.” Declare that new revelation, strategy
and plans for your future are being released from the throne room. Praise
God in advance for these manifestations.
