We're Celebrating One of the Most Joyous Holidays:

As you may know, the Festival of Sukkot begins on the Hebrew month of Tishri 15, the fifth day after Yom Kippur. This year it begins on Sunday, September 30th...today, in fact!

We have celebrated the New Year (Rosh Hashanah 5773), and the most holy day of Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement) and NOW we are celebrating Sukkot: a holiday of great joy!

Sukkot is a reminder that we have SO much to be grateful for. And that God is our provider. Traditionally, Jewish families build sukkahs (temporary dwellings) for this season—basically an outdoor hut covered with vegetation but not so much to block the view of stars. These huts are lived in for the 7 day festival of Sukkot and remind us of the temporary dwellings of the Israelites in the desert and that God is our provision and provider.

And He has provided well. We have much to be thankful for.

Can you just take one moment, a moment of simplicity, a moment where we get back to the basics and think about all that God has blessed you with? I am sure that you will find that you are blessed—even in the midst of trials—YOU are blessed.

Sukkot commemorates the forty-year period of the children of Israel wandering in the desert and living in temporary shelters but it is also a pilgrim feast and a harvest feast.

Through My Olive Tree, we are giving the gift of increased harvests. We are giving Israeli farmers and their families a chance, to harvest something, an opportunity to earn money, care for trees, and harvest olives for oil that will be used for many many things including olive oil. We are giving the gift of harvest!

Sukkot is also a pilgrim feast and a time when the Jewish people ascended the mountain to Jerusalem and brought a special offering to the Lord. It was a very special festival—a great journey and a meaningful offering!

Today, in honor of The Feast of Tabernacles, I would like to ask that you consider making My Olive Tree a part of your Sukkot gift this year! Your sponsorship will bless the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. You can take an active step in helping fulfill prophecy and release a blessing for your family during this season of joy!

This year, perhaps for the first time, join the nation of Israel by planting an olive tree and giving a gift of peace and joy.

1,872 counties and 23 countries sponsored.
17 States completed: AZ, CA, CT, DE, DC, KS, MA, OK, PA, RI, VT, FL, WA, HI, NJ, NH & OR.
The national olive tree planting campaign is exploding!
Not only is America responding but many nations want to participate and bless Israel.
International sponsorships are accepted.
Payment plan and one time contributions are available!

What you need to know about the special project:

There are 3,141 counties in the United States, and our trees will be planted together in a grove that will be marked and identified as a gift from our nation to Israel.
There is a virtual visitors' center that allows sponsors to see satellite images of their grove. This information is accessed through the number on a certificate of authenticity that is issued for each tree sponsored.
The land that My Olive Tree uses for the tree sponsorships is under long term lease agreement.
My Olive Tree will take responsibility to replace a dead tree.
Each year, ten percent of the sales of the olive products from our trees will be given back into the nation of Israel, via various humanitarian aid projects that are overseen by Curt Landry's ministry. The remaining percentage of the sales will go back into Israel's agriculture.
My Olive Tree will provide a high quality wood carved sign that will identify our project.
The region of Gilgal is where Joshua and Caleb crossed the Jordan and where Yeshua was baptized by John the Baptist. When God spoke and said, "This is My Son," a new priesthood was released. Gilgal is therefore the gate to the birthplace of the nation of Israel and the gate to the Melchizedek priesthood's empowerment. Because of the prophetic nature of what Dutch Sheets spoke in November 2008 in Kansas, these 3,000 plus trees will be planted in the region of Gilgal.
Trees have a positive effect on the economy, the environment, and the hearts of the people. They create jobs, they produce oxygen, they produce food, they increase rainfall...they make the desert blossom and rejoice. There is a saying in Judaism that says: "You plant a vineyard for your son and an olive tree for your grandson."

"I have had the privilege of knowing and working with Sandy Newman for several years. I wholeheartedly endorse this effort to bless Israel."

"There can be no doubt as to the blessing that comes from participating in seeing God's chosen land blessed by the planting of olive trees. I believe that as we sow this seed that we will see the fulfillment of Psalm 1 in our own lives and be like a tree planted by the rivers of water ourselves."
