Personally, I don't like gimmicks or even rhythmical, catchy, little sayings that might make me sound like I am commercializing the word of God, and the Lord knows this. After telling Him multiple times that I don't like to rhyme when I prophesy, lately He has persisted in speaking to me in prophetic rhymes.
No doubt about it, God has a sense of humor! He reminded me that a whole division in the Old Testament is called the "poetical writings." He's been impressing on my heart to get over my preferences. It's not about me; it's about Him! Moreover, He said to speak His words the way He gave them to me. I have resigned myself to the idea that if people begin to describe me as the "Dr. Seuss" prophet, it doesn't matter, as long as I am obeying God... (more)

The great Old Testament warrior, Caleb, was the partner of Joshua. Of the twelve spies Moses sent on a reconnaissance mission into Canaan, they were the only two that brought back faith-filled reports. Not only were they men of great faith, they were men of great patience. We will get to that momentarily.
The Scriptures tell us a remarkable five times that Caleb followed the Lord fully: Numbers 14:24; 32:12; Deuteronomy 1:36; Joshua 14:8; 14:14. The first reference (Numbers 14:24) says, "But My servant, Caleb, because he has had a different spirit and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land which he entered, and his descendants shall take possession of it." The context of this verse is Yahweh telling Moses that the unbelieving Israelites would not be allowed to enter the Promised Land... (more)
