From the desk of Steve Shultz:
We NEED the breath of God to blow life into our being. This latest word by Keith Miller will take you in depth and get you ready to soar, even this year. Yes, that's right, the year is NOT over and there is much anticipation of what is to come for this year yet!
Be encouraged as you read this word by Keith Miller and what he shares here: "Every time the enemy tries to bring discouragement, every time he tries to put out the fire of zeal in your heart, I pray that the wind of the Holy Spirit – the breath of God – blows on it and fans the fire's flame back stronger than ever before."
Here are also a couple of awesome resources to help you surrender to the Spirit and bend your ear to hear:

Keith Miller:
The Breath of God is Moving- This Year You're Going to Soar!
Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
In the Amplified Bible this verse reads, "But those who wait for the Lord (who expect)..." Right now, aren't you feeling an expectation that something is about to happen? God is about to do new things, and we need to get ready and align ourselves for this.
Obedience in the little things brings us into greater alignment with Him, and obedience to Him gets us in position to catch His wind when He breathes, which will enable us to soar! We will mount up on eagle's wings! Obedience is living in a place of doing what we hear the Holy Spirit saying and doing.
Get Aligned to Soar!
There are many adjustments that are taking place right now – and in those adjustments new strength will be released. Wouldn't you like some new strength? Wouldn't you like some strength in areas where you didn't have strength before? One thing that we know about this passage in Isaiah 40 is that as we wait on the Lord, we will gain new strength to fly – and it's illustrated here as similar to when an eagle puts on new feathers after shedding the old ones.
I've heard so many different teachings about this process of "putting on new feathers." There's something of a new beginning, but the essence of what I want to bring out is that we're aligning ourselves with the Lord's order. There's this aligning, this development, and we've been allowing the working of the Holy Spirit to bring it about. Over the course of the last year there has been preparation. Even when we didn't understand what was going on, when we were still obedient in the surrendered lifestyle, the whole time we didn't realize it – but we were getting ourselves aligned and prepared for the next wind of the Holy Spirit, so that we wouldn't have to do the climbing ourselves but could soar where we haven't soared before!
Wouldn't you like to catch the wind of the Holy Ghost right now?
It's amazing to me! Every time I've ever had promotion in ministry, it's because of some supernatural breakout in the area of the Holy Spirit. I mean, He just does things! If I align myself and I'm in position, then I catch the wind of the Holy Spirit, and I find myself in a greater level of destiny. And it wasn't because I had to work to get there; I just walked in obedience, I positioned myself and when the wind came, He lifted me into the heights where He wanted to lift me. Wouldn't you like that? This year you're going to soar.
Strength to Strength
A verse the Lord gave me at Yom Kippur is Psalm 84:7, "They will go from strength to strength." I believe the Lord will cause us to go to a new level of strength this next year as we align ourselves with Him and He releases His breath upon us. Just tell yourself, "I'm going from strength to strength this year!" However much strength you feel right now, wouldn't you like to live in a place where you get even stronger in the Lord? It's amazing to begin to live going from strength to strength – where you have the victory and you don't back off. In other words, you're not going to take a little bit of land and then be pushed back out of your blessing. You're going to go from glory to glory, from strength to strength, and you're not going to be pushed out of your destiny and victory in the Lord!
Another thing that we see in Isaiah 40 is that the eagle mounts up or lifts up. This is a key. There's a lifting up, and I believe this year will be an incredible season of promotion to higher heights in the Lord. In fact, I want to encourage you to believe that in this past year that has ended, you've been in development. In the timeline of history, God purposed for you to be alive for such a time as now. And I believe there's a fresh wind of the Holy Spirit being released right now that's going to literally lift us into place in our destiny for those things we were created to do. And it's not by our power, not by our might, but by the power of the Holy Spirit! Don't you want the Holy Spirit to lift up your sails and put the wind to the sails?
His Breath Creates
Now watch this in Isaiah 40. I'm going to read it out of the Amplified: "But those who wait for the Lord (who expect, look for, and hope in Him) shall change and renew their strength and power." I believe that we're about to step into one of the greatest levels of the anointing that we've ever known. Whenever you see the wind of the Holy Spirit, you can begin to expect to see and believe for creative miracles. Get ready for creative miracles! I'm ready! How about you?
Wouldn't you like to see the Lord create brand new lungs, brand new eyes and brand new eardrums for people? Aren't you ready to see a movement of the Holy Spirit that's unexplainable; that nobody can explain it? The undeniable things where there are creative works of the Holy Spirit and man can't take credit – aren't you ready for that? And not just in a meeting that you attend, but don't you want to be the one that the Lord is using? You're going to soar – get that in your spirit. You're not going to grovel in the valleys of doubt and unbelief. You're not going to grovel in the valley of, "If only I would have." You're going to soar with the Lord this year!
Heart Revelation of Jesus Christ Transforms!
Look at this: "But those who wait for the Lord (who expect, look for, and hope in Him) shall change and renew their strength and power." So, waiting on the Lord brings new strength, new power, new authority, and also revelation; the revelation of Jesus Christ. I believe that. Get ready!
I've been amazed over the last two years by the facets of the river of revelation that the Lord has honored and blessed me with. I just can't get out of the Word – I'm so hungry to encounter Jesus and His Truth through the Word. But the Lord has been telling me that it has all just been preparation. It's just the process of getting anointed and having that anointing smeared all over me. He told me, "I'm about to take you to even deeper depths of the revelation." And He has that for all of His people this coming year. Don't you want deeper depths of the revelation of Jesus Christ?
Remember that as we see Him, as we behold His glory, we are changed to His likeness (see 2 Corinthians 3:18; 1 John 3:2). And as we're transformed through revelation of Jesus, it gives us authority. It gives us the keys of authority in the Kingdom that bind and loose. Remember the passage where Jesus said to Peter, "Who do you say that I am?" and Peter said, "You're the Messiah"? And Jesus said, "Flesh and blood did not reveal those things to you, but My Father did. And on that rock I will build My Church, and I will give you the keys. And you will bind and loose" (paraphrased from Matthew 16:15-19).
Aren't you ready to bind dubious lies that are not truths of the Kingdom and loose the revelation of the mystery of Christ? Don't you want to see the secret things of God revealed that build up not only your life, but also build up people around you by the truth of the Holy Ghost? Another name for the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. We want to have revelation of Jesus in our hearts that brings a transformation by the Spirit of Truth, and the Lord will be doing that this year in increasing amounts, I believe!
New Strength for Your Legs to RUN!
Any time the Lord reveals more of Himself to us, new peace and strength is released with that revelation. "They shall lift up their wings and mount up close to God, as eagles mount up to the sun. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint or become tired." In a recent ministry gathering, the Lord instructed me to have the people stand up so I could pray for their legs. He had me pray for supernatural strength to come into their legs so that they could run in the destiny of God for their lives, and that discouragement would not weaken their legs anymore. For everyone reading this, I also pray for a supernatural strengthening of your spiritual legs. And every time the enemy tries to bring discouragement, every time he tries to put out the fire of zeal in your heart, I pray that the wind of the Holy Spirit – the breath of God – blows on it and fans the fire's flame back stronger than ever before.
What steals your strength is discouragement, but faith causes you to be strengthened. The gift of faith brings the Spirit of might to strengthen you to believe for the unbelievable. I pray for you that every bit of weariness in doing good will be broken off of you right now, and that you're going to believe without any hesitation that you're going to see a harvest this year! And you're going to be contagious to other Believers, and there's going to be a zeal of the Lord in you. And the zeal of the Lord is going to be like a fire to others around you, and they're going to begin to hear a new sound out of your lips that will cause them to begin to rally to the silver trumpet blast of the Lord! You're going to run this year! There's much to do! Much to do! Much to do! But you're not going to grow weary. You're not going to get tired.
Any time that the enemy tries to put up a wall, you're going to leap over it. You're in a spiritual leap year! And it's an inward engaging by the grace of the Lord. Even when your mind tries to muster up the determination, you still grow weary. But when it's an engaging of the Spirit of the living God in you, He'll give you the strength, He'll give you the ability, and He'll give you the faith to stay strong in the power and the might of the Lord. It is going to be a good year! You're going to have to do some dancing, because fire is going to hit your feet!
It's like in the Book of Job, that even when discouragement tries to come out of your own mouth your exhortation will come. Even when people around you try to discourage you, you will exhort from your own mouth and say, "No!" Don't you want that kind of release? And it happens on the inside you, Spirit to spirit. Part of the breath of life releases strength and vigor. Get ready for a new vigor of the Lord – that will be a deep stature within you. It's a stature where you won't be moved, regardless of what comes around you. Even though the enemy would try to come in like a flood, the strength of the Lord will rise up in you!
I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus right now that this would be a year of engaging from strength to strength by the Holy Spirit's power, by His strength in the inner man; I pray that you begin to live out of that place – to be renewed every morning in your inner man! I pray that everything that's robbing you of strength because of the warfare on the mind ceases in the name of Jesus! We take captive every thought, everything that's warring against Your precious people. Your Word says that the enemy prevailed for a season, but then You favored Your saints, and they possessed the Kingdom! I pray for that favor of getting into our land this year. But also, not only for you, but I'm praying that now you'll be strength for the feeble.
Don't you want to be strength for the feeble? You are going to begin to encourage others even more. You're going to bring courage.
Swirlings of God
Don't you want to feel the swirlings of God? It's the wind of the Holy Spirit! And wherever the wind of the Holy Spirit goes, courage rises up in God's people. I believe that we're going to have prayer meetings in the next two months where a fresh wind of the Holy Spirit will hit, and something will be awakened. And even the people who battle with doubt and unbelief – even those who couldn't even grasp some of the things we've been saying – all of a sudden a fresh wind of the Holy Ghost will hit, and they're going to say, "Oh, man!" We will say back, "See, we were telling you!" Don't you want that kind of release?
I pray this for you, for your homes, for your ministry, for your destiny and for your daily living. I'm not just asking for a refreshing, even though that's part of the fresh wind of the Holy Spirit. I'm praying for the swirlings of God, the chariots – He rides on the wings of the wind. It's a crazy thing! I pray that wherever you go, a fresh wind of the Holy Spirit will be released, and that gifts are also stirred up so that people begin to prophesy – and they can't even believe that they're prophesying! The gifts are stirred and fanned into flame! Release that, Lord, for all reading this message!
And everything that has been battling you in the area of your thoughts, that has been draining your strength, I command it now to cease in the name of Jesus. It says in Isaiah 61:7 that our portion instead of confusion will be double honor, and we'll come into the clarity of our portion. I decree that over every person reading this. Breathe, O Holy Spirit, and ignite the fires wherever we go, in the name of Jesus!
Breathe and Prophesy!
Ezekiel 37:5 says, "Thus says the Lord God to these bones, 'Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.'" Just before this, the Lord said to Ezekiel in verse 4, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!'" Don't you want to see the Word and the wind working together – the Holy Spirit and the Word, the anointing and the Word? And don't you want to see what was once dead become alive?
I believe this is a year that a great and mighty army will begin to rise up, like we see later in this passage in Ezekiel 37:10. It's not that one hasn't risen up yet, but don't you want to see it rise up even more? And this army will come from the breath of God coming upon them, just as in this passage above where the Lord told Ezekiel to prophesy to the dead bones, and then God caused breath to enter them.
The essence of the word "breath" there means "wind" in the Hebrew. It also means "to cause one to be inspired to prophesy." So every time you encounter this type of anointing, you're inspired within to prophesy. It causes the utterances of the Lord to come forth. Don't you want to be stirred up by the wind of the Holy Ghost to decree a thing and see it become established?
Fresh Boldness
But also, this same word "breath" in Ezekiel 37 means "fresh courage; fresh vigor." So when the wind of the Holy Spirit begins to blow the breath of God, one of the things that it releases is fresh courage. I believe there's a new boldness coming to the Body of Christ this year!
In Acts 4, the Believers were gathered together, and even though they had been persecuted and had just gotten out of prison, they were right in the middle of revival. But they said to the Lord, "Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word..." (verse 29) and all of a sudden, a fresh wind of the Holy Spirit hit them. What you see there in Acts, chapter 4, is that the Holy Spirit came afresh, the whole place was shaken and they left with a great new Holy Ghost boldness. Don't you want to see a Holy Ghost boldness released that brings courage and renewed faith?
Faith, in its basic essence, is a supernatural ability to have courage to believe for things beyond your ability. We may determine to do certain things, but in the presence of resistance we can become weary. But when you begin to live out of the realm of the gift of faith, out of the engaging of faith of the Holy Spirit, you have a supernatural endowment of courage to begin to even be a beckoning light, a sound, a trumpet and a clarion call for the troops that says, "Come on guys! We can do it!" He's going to raise those people up. There's been a heavy onslaught, and the enemy has been trying to come in like a flood, but God's going to raise up a standard.
Read on in Ezekiel 37:9: "Prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, 'Thus says the Lord God, "Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live."'"
The word "wind" there is the same word for "breath." So there's a decree of asking for the Holy Spirit to bring courage, life and vigor to the dead, dry bones. Don't you want to refuse this year to come into agreement with the pronouncement from the second heaven of doubt and unbelief? You want to be plugged into the counsel of God, and you're ready to have access to the courtroom of Heaven, and you don't want to listen to what's being pronounced in the natural. You're going to be a declarer of the truth that breaks through and breaks open! Just tell yourself, "I'm a clarion call because I hear the voice of the Lord."
The Hebrew definition of the word for "wind" there also means "to receive impartation of war-like energy." It's literally an impartation of energy that's war-like, but it also releases an impartation of strength to begin to live in an executive or an administrative way. So not only do you have a shout, but you're anointed to see the shout come to pass! Don't you want some executive orders to be released for your ministry? In other words, when you decree and when you prophesy, the Holy Spirit will back it up because the orders came from Him.
Don't you want a prophecy for your family that causes the dead, dry bones to come into alignment? Don't you want to see people who are the worst case scenarios come into alignment with the Lord as you prophesy the word of the Lord? And they won't even have a choice because it's the wind of the Holy Spirit blowing on them!
Administrating His Government
It's a different day; it's a new day! Not just one or two are going to live in this type of vigor and courage. This mighty army rising up will get others aligned to receive the same impartation. He's going to raise up the Body of Christ to begin to declare, decree and administer the government of the Lord! Don't you want to administer the government of the Lord?
And what is the government of the Lord? It is divine justice and righteousness! What releases divine justice? Proclamation of the favor of the Lord releases divine justice (see Isaiah 61). It reverses the curses. What the enemy meant for ashes, God now turns it around and uses it to release the beauty of the Lord. People become well-planted trees, and they begin to see the cities rebuilt and the desolation of lost heritages restored. Don't you want to be used of the Lord to proclaim the justice of our God? And everything that the enemy has done, even for three or four generations, stops at your proclamation of His word! I'm telling you, there's a fresh courage that He's imparting!
Remember what the Lord told Joshua as he was about to take the people into the Promised Land? "Be bold! Be strong!" (see Joshua 1:6-9). Joshua could have gone into his promise alone, but he took a whole generation with him. I believe God's putting within the hearts of many right now not just to believe for their own lives and not just for their families, but to believe for a whole generation to come into His promises.
Don't you want the courage to believe for a generation? How about many generations? Don't you want courage to believe for your children's children's children? How about an anointing of faith to believe for somebody else's children's children's children? I believe He wants to give us an impartation of faith and courage to believe for cities, for nations and for generations! I believe the Lord is saying, "Lift up your eyes. Don't see with too small of a vision. Lift your vision higher."
And when you receive impartation, He wants you to give it away! How do you get more? You empty yourself out! Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your might! I believe that we're going to come into a place where we'll understand that as we empty ourselves and give ALL that we are to the Lord, we'll be amazed at how much new strength we'll receive on a day-to-day basis. That can't be mustered up. That can't be through determination. It has to be through impartation. And what I'm talking about is a fresh wind of the Holy Spirit on a day-to-day basis. Don't you want to soar to new heights every day in the Lord? I do!
