September through November:
A New Time of Revelation
God often uses things in the natural realm to prophesy what is happening in the supernatural. Earlier this year, the Sudden Acceleration Syndrome of cars and the Deep Water Horizon Oil Spill were good examples of prophetic words to us that God is speeding things up and releasing something very deep in the Spirit that will take time to get a handle on.
Fall Into Place
Last January I released a prophetic word (available on The Elijah List) that when we set the clocks forward in the spring, things will begin to "spring forward" in the spiritual realm. When we set the clocks back in the fall we will see things begin to "fall into place." I experienced the spring forward word myself and I have heard many stories from other people who have experienced the same. We can anticipate that when we set the clocks back in the U.S. on November 7th, there will be a lot more clarity about our destinies and what God is doing in our lives for the New Year.
Bed Bug Invasion
Another prophetic message through the media is the return of "bed bugs." This is a prophetic forewarning about an attack coming against our intimacy with God. In dreams beds often represent our intimacy with God. Bed bugs drink human blood (life flow) slowly and often go undetected until it is too late.
The plan of satan is to get us too focused on our life situations so that we are not at peace with God. The specific attack is coming in the form of distractions. It will involve being tempted to get too busy or overly involved and putting out fires with everyday things such as family, relationships, school and work.
Visitation From an Angel and Revelation of the New Season
On September 1, the presence of a messenger angel came into my house and for a number of hours I received revelation from God about the season we are in and a new level that is coming to us right now.
? A time of revelation. September through November will be a strategic time to hear God. We are in a season of revelation. This is why the enemy wants to try to remove our peace and intimacy in an attempt to derail us from hearing the voice of God during this critical time. Oftentimes God will speak to His people during the Jewish New Year celebration known as Rosh Hashanah, which started last week. This is a time to gain greater insight into God's plans for us during this new year.
? I heard the words: "Daniel is coming!" Usually the area of our lives that the enemy attacks is the place that God wants to bless. Because satan is attacking intimacy and rest, it is clear that God is releasing prophetic and interactive dreams. Daniel was known as a dream interpreter, but he also received revelation from God through angelic visitations (Daniel 9-10).
Prophetic word: The plan of satan right now is distraction: to try to get you out of intimacy with God ? because God is releasing revelation over the next three months in dreams and heavenly interactions.
? This is a time to try to do things differently. Isaiah 43:19 "...forget the former way of doing things... I am doing a new thing." When God does anything, most all of us have a way we tend to receive and respond. This is a time of broadening our ability to experience and interact with God.
Just last week I was speaking at a conference and the presence of God came in one of the meetings I was doing. I began to interact and release the anointing to minister to people in ways that I commonly do and many people were touched deeply. After about thirty minutes I felt it was time to end so I left while many people still milled around. As I walked out I felt an angel walk through me and go back into the meeting. God spoke to my spirit, "You can leave if you want, but I am going back in."
Prophetic word: Many people are tempted to check out but God says He's checking in.
I went back in and began to minister, and when the stronger presence of God came many people responded with spiritual drunkenness. Then a party for God broke out so to speak. This is typical with Christians who have experienced God in this way. God's awesome presence often brings laughter, which is like medicine and healing to the soul and body.
Suddenly I felt the Spirit shift into something new that caught me off guard at first. I had to calm the group down from the ways they are used to experiencing and expressing themselves and allow God's presence to settle on us all because I knew God wanted us to experience something new. It became very quiet and we all experienced "God's euphoric love" settle on us. It was awesome and words cannot describe this level of peace, joy, and presence all at the same time.
Prophetic word: It is time to quiet down from the way we do things and let God release a new strategy that is formed in His love. He wants us to experience His presence at a deeper and more intimate level.
As we stayed with it, we hit yet another level. A sweet perfume fragrance from Heaven filled the room, and by now we are all laying on the floor. The fragrance was holy and yet intoxicating with pure love, and to prove that it was not someone spraying perfume, many people smelled different things. At that point God released a level of ecstasy over us as we all cried out in love and connection with Him. It was like being under an open Heaven.
Prophetic word: Over the next few months there will be the start of a new season of heavenly interaction that will bring about a deep, new intimacy with God.
Three E's
We left the experience longing for more. I have not seen this level of extreme drunkenness, euphoria, and ecstasy since 2004. I had a church in Los Angeles in 2004 and started having these types of experiences. God is bringing a new level of what I call the three E's to the Church again:
? Extreme drunkenness: Breaks things off and opens things up (Acts 2).
? Euphoria: Connects us with God and each other (Matthew 22:37-40).
? Ecstasy: Interaction with Heaven (Acts 10:10) ? the Greek word for trance is where we get the word ecstasy.
We are entering into a time of hearing God and interacting with Heaven in ways that are unprecedented. The key is to make room for these types of experiences and trust God to bring us to a new level that will ultimately deepen our relationship with Him and others.
Ephesians 1:17-19 (NIV) I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for us who believe.
