Normally, I write an introduction that comes only from me. But today, this paragraph from this article is even better and more appropriate than any intro I would come up with. It's short, but it's very potent:
"...the Church is still bleeding from her secret place; but we have been unwilling to admit it. The only thing that can stop this 'issue' is prayer, or genuine intimacy with the Lord."

I present to you a very "kairos" or timely prophetic word on the current Gulf Oil Spill that is yet spewing millions of gallons of oil from the earth into our valuable ocean resources. John Sielski is not only a seasoned pastor in the Reading, Pennsylvania region, he is my prophetic son in the Lord, that I attest to and cover his words. While this bizarre prophetic journey seems to commonly display similar views through many voices, and while I had yet been unable to contact John about this "Gulf Oil Spill" issue, I read his word given below in my email, just as you're about to. When I replied, I told him that I had been given some remarkably similar symbolic words over this from our Big Dad, Almighty God. Please read my first download from the Lord on this and then continue to read a very graphic, yet incredibly profound and true prophetic word of the Lord concerning how to remedy this major oil spill. God told me we will sacrifice to whom we serve, whether God or the enemy. When we do it, it is very clear by natural examples of which God (or gods) our nation serves. We are bringing upon ourselves, our nation, a dark oil anointing that God can cure in a matter of minutes when our motives turn to the heart of our Father and we worship Him alone as God! Furthermore, it is also very akin to the Scripture the Lord gave me, "For My people have done two evil things: They have forsaken Me—the fountain of living water. And they have dug for themselves cracked cisterns that can hold no water at all!" (Jeremiah 2:13, NLT).
God can seal off any broken vessel if we only humble ourselves to Jehovah, the only true power of this universe. God is not a good choice, He is the only choice through Jesus Christ as our Eternal Savior, who knows exactly how to lift up, pull down, and fill leaky vessels (as our earth has mirrored our hearts), and then fill us to a new, overflowing well of Living Water. He will then baptize us in the Pure Anointed Oil of His presence. As we now choose to dwell in the Secret Place of the Most High God, indeed we then will abide under the shadow of His ever-protecting wings of love!
Oil represents wealth to our nation and to the globe. Yet God created and still controls all the oil and wealth we will ever need. We have been tempted to allow the vehicles of God's ministries to worship "wealth of this world" in exchange for the anointing that only comes through abiding in His Secret Place. Let us now humble ourselves, repent, turn from our wicked ways, honor God as the only source for our lives, and then see our loving Savior indeed heal our "land"!

A Dream About the BP Oil Spill
Early Sunday morning, the Lord gave me a dream in connection to the oil spill in the Gulf Coast. He likened it to the woman with the issue of blood, whose flow could not be stopped. Interestingly enough, her flow of blood lasted for twelve years, and twelve is the number of God's apostolic fullness, divine order and government. We are God's government representatives now upon the earth, His ambassadors! (*Note: I'm in no wise saying that the Gulf Oil Spill is going to continue for twelve years! This is just symbolic imagery.)
Similarly, the Church is still bleeding from her secret place; but we have been unwilling to admit it. The only thing that can stop this "issue" is prayer, or genuine intimacy with the Lord. We have lost sight of the fact that one of the purposes of intimacy is reproduction (in all facets of our lives.) God desires to reproduce the life of His Son inside of us. Yet, we have not wanted to carry this "burden" for fear of what others may think of us. The result: no responsibility, no authority...no authority, no power!
How to Pray and Hear from Heaven Together, and Touch and Agree with Heaven
In the Scriptures, the woman with the issue of blood reaches out and touches the hem of Jesus' garment which, in those days, was used as a prayer covering that was pulled over the head. This is what Jesus meant when He said that when we pray, we are to "go into our closet and shut the door." As Rabbis would pray in this way, they were no longer subject to or influenced by the outside world, but were confined to the privacy underneath this "prayer garment" in the "secret place" of the Father's presence.
God's house has always been designated as a house of prayer. This needs to come to the forefront much, much more in application. Up until now, we have only talked about it and theorized over it but done little to implement it into the life of the corporate Body. We feel that prayer is only for certain groups of intercessors who are "called to that kind of ministry." It is not! This is one of the reasons why our flow of blood continues.
When the woman with the issue of blood touches the hem of Jesus' garment, she actually comes into contact or agreement with eternal life, or Jesus' personal relationship of fellowship and communion with the Father (see John 17:3). Her fountain of blood is immediately stopped.
Likewise, concerning prayer, Jesus teaches us, "...That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of My Father which is in Heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them" (Matthew 18:19-20, KJV).
I felt the Lord saying that if we will begin to pray and hear from Heaven together, and then touch and agree concerning what Heaven is saying and asking, that He would then begin to release supernatural wisdom and understanding into the hearts and minds of those who are in authority positions over the current situation in the Gulf of Mexico—to know how to stop the flow of oil into the waters.
Perspective Change:
Hope in God's Goodness and Mercy
Up until now, one of our major dilemmas has been in our own perception of seeing everything as being "God's judgment" upon the earth. It's kind of counter-productive to even think about praying when we are choosing to view everything that is happening as being God's judgment. It cross-cancels and short-circuits both love and faith, leaving us all feeling feeble, helpless and hopeless. But I have good news for you! As long as Christ is here, alive in you and me—the hope of encountering God's glory is here as well, within each of us! This hope must now be released through us for the entire world to see!
I believe that if we will do this, there will come not only swift answers to those who have the ability to do something about it, but also there will be loosed from the heavenlies new ideas concerning inventions and technologies against this happening again in the future on this kind of scale or level. Creativity concerning how to deal with this problem is paramount, in turning what is happening for evil into good. So, let's pray that way!
I also wanted to encourage you to pray that all parties involved would be brought to the Light, as well as proper justice. Folks, we have this kind of authority! It's time for us to stop murmuring and complaining about this stuff, and walk in our authority! But first we have to assume our own part or responsibility in it. And yes, we have come to the Kingdom for such a time as this!
What Our "Issue of Blood" Boils Down To
I believe that our own issue of blood boils down to an issue with the Blood of Jesus, and the love of the Father that is revealed through it. We have not yet fully accepted this kind of love in our own hearts and minds. As a result, everything we see becomes skewed and distorted, even the Father's desire and willingness to have us experience true and genuine fellowship, communion and intimacy together with Him. Mercy always triumphs over, and trumps, judgment!
The oil spill in the Gulf is a parallel with our own flow of blood from our secret place. We have left our First Love! If together, we will corporately reach out and begin to "touch the hem of Jesus' garment" through prayer and agreement, then we will see not only our own fountain of blood dried up, but also the ecological disaster in the waters of the Gulf remedied...
