Did you know it wasn't the giants that kept Israel out of their promised land? It was their murmuring and complaining about the price of gasoline being $4.00 a gallon, the high mortgage rates and the price of milk going up! (paraphrased in our time).
If the enemy can get us to even start thinking about these things we will miss seeing the Lord's mighty resources and abundant provision He has stored up for us for such a time as this. Jehovah Jireh means that the Lord has seen ahead and has already provided for the things we have need of before we even know what our needs will be.
Matthew 6:31-34, "Therefore take no thought saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'How shall we be clothed?' For after all of these things do the Gentiles seek. For your Heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow..."
AS I PROPHESIED TO MY FIRST GAS PUMP I FELT MYSELF BEING FILLED UP WITH HEAVENLY OCTANE!
Recently having watched the gas prices jump higher almost daily, a strange anointing rose up within me as I pulled into the gas station. As I picked up the pump nozzle to pump the gas into my car, a spirit of prophecy came over me. I began to prophesy a personal prophetic word to that gas pump - releasing the highest power of octane that any oil company has ever seen.
As I prophesied to my first gas pump, I felt myself being filled up with Heavenly octane! I said to the pump: "Thus saith the Lord...no matter how high your gasoline price increases, I will always have enough money to fill up my gas tank in both cars!"
A HIGHER "OCTANE" OF PRAISE POWER WILL BE RELEASED FROM THE BOOK OF PSALMS THIS HOUR, SURPASSING ALL OF THE OIL COMPANY PRODUCTIONS ON EARTH!
Now when I see the gas prices go higher, I have felt led to go to the Book of Psalms. Since the price has gone to four dollars in our area, I have gone to Psalm 4:1, "Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: Thou has enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me and hear my prayer."
This verse implies that we are being enlarged in the spirit in times of distress! I believe the Lord is using present troubles to stir up the gifts of the Spirit within the Body of Christ to a higher octane rating - especially the gift of prophecy!
If the gas prices rise to five dollars a gallon, I plan to go to Psalm 5. I already found the verse that I will live by and to offer praise for Psalm 5:12 says, "For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield."
I believe if we keep focused on praising the Lord instead of complaining, He will reveal hidden manna from His Word that we have not eaten before! If it goes to six dollars a gallon, I believe I will find something in Psalm 6 that will cause me to give praise and to prophesy in the midst of darkness. I may discover a revelation just for myself and you may find something just for you.
I sense the Holy Spirit is highlighting the Book of Psalms in this season to release us from financial stress and to nullify our debts through praise and worship! I sense the Lord saying, "Watch and Praise! Watch what I will do as you praise Me!"
I have heard testimonies of people driving their cars on an empty tank when there was no money! I heard Graham Cooke share a story that when he started out in ministry, there were times when his automobile ran by "praying in tongues!" When the car started to miss and to stall out, he would turn around and ask his kids in the back seat, "Who isn't praying in tongues?" As they would all pray again the car would continue to run!
"IN GOD WE TRUST" HAS BEEN PRESERVED ON OUR MONEY TO PROPHESY TO AMERICA THIS HOUR!
I saw angels breaking open piggy banks proclaiming; "Don't count your money, read it!" Angels are being released to go meddling in bank accounts to stretch your money to go as far as God is going!
THE LACK OF EARTHLY RESOURCES WILL CREATE AND RELEASE "WITTY" INVENTIONS FROM HEAVEN TO EARTH!
This year is the fiftieth year celebration of VELCRO® which was discovered by accident. Swiss engineer, George de Mestral was returning from a hunting trip in the Alps with his dog when he found burrs sticking to his clothes and his dog's fur. When he examined them under a microscope, he noted hundreds of hooks that could catch anything with a loop such as clothes, fur and hair. He started testing different materials he could duplicate with this effect...and through the irritating burrs, he created the material called VELCRO®.
There are going to be those who continue to look to the Lord through their difficult and irritating situations by "divine" set-ups and will receive creative ideas to prosper themselves financially and advance the Kingdom! Some of your present and future irritations may very well make you famous!
Watch for a creative anointing that will shake the earth as God's creativity is released and flourishes in times of man wondering what to do next. I sense many creative and unheard of ideas and inventions will come from small children as well!
A PIONEERING "RISK-TAKING" ANOINTING IS COMING UPON THE BODY OF CHRIST IN PERILOUS TIMES!
As the world is saying, "Is this all there is?" the Body of Christ will prove there is more!
Danica Patrick recently became the first woman to win an IndyCar race. While the end of the race was near, others were pulling into the pit to refuel, not wanting to risk running out of fuel to finish the race. But Danica decided to "risk" running dry, taking first place with only three laps to go. She put the pedal to the metal and went for it - causing her to become the first woman ever to win an IndyCar race!
Many of you today are facing hopeless situations that seem to be calling you into the "pit" to stop you. Some of you know that you have very little gas left in your spiritual tank. I want to encourage you right now to take a risk instead of later - living the rest of your life regretting that you did not take it.
"Floor it!" Put your pedal to the metal and go for it. Put all of your eggs in one basket and throw the dice and let the chips fall where they may! Be a risk taker and take the world by storm and advance the Kingdom forevermore.
The next time you go to the gas station, the bank or the grocery store, think on those things that are good and then prophesy: "I will stay filled up and so will my gas tank, because I trust in God to meet my needs according to His riches in glory and I will eat the good of the land from this grocery store."
And as the price of milk increases prophesy with me: "I believe to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, flowing with milk and honey!"
