IT IS TIME FOR THE PRAYING WOMEN

I [Kathie Walters] talked to Bob Jones [a few weeks ago] and he gave me a word for THE UK & IRELAND REVIVAL NEWS LIST.

For England especially. He said everything is going to be shaken and that there were troubles coming to England. I asked him "What troubles?" and he said all kinds, but he mentioned terrorism, which would first strike the U.S. He referred to the old prophecy about "Britain being saved by praying women". He said IT IS TIME FOR THE PRAYING WOMEN. If you are not familiar with the prophecy, the prophecy was brought by Mother Barbara (Abbess of the Convent of the Garden of Gethsemane in Jerusalem) from Russia in 1911. The Prophecy was given by one of the monks there who was praying for her father, in a monastery north of Moscow. She had gone there to ask them to pray for her father who was in danger. As a result she believes they were able to leave Russia. She went to Jerusalem where she has lived ever since. (I believe she died a few years ago). When the monks were praying for her father, one of them had prophesied and she had written it all down. She translated the prophecy from Russian and this is part of it:

"An evil will shortly overtake Russia and wherever this evil comes, rivers of blood will flow. It is not the Russian soul, but an imposition on the Russian soul. It is not an ideology, or a philosophy, but a spirit from hell. In the last days Germany will be divided in two. France will just be nothing. Italy will be judged by natural disasters. Britain will lose her empire and all her colonies and will come to almost total ruin, BUT WILL BE SAVED BY PRAYING WOMEN. America will feed the world, but will finally collapse... Finally Russia will be free and from her, believers will go forth and turn many from the nations to God...." The old monk then said to her, "You will live to see Russia free, but you will not live to see the Antichrist."

In 1911, who ever would have thought that some crackpot little movement in Russia would rule a very large part of the earth and that Marxism would become the most powerful force in the 20th Century world? Who would have thought that Germany would be divided in two, or that Britain, then a very strong nation, would lose her empire and all her colonies, and-almost come to ruin?
