Many Christians do not know that Norma McCorvey (the ROE in Roe v. Wade) has become a Born Again Believer and is now fighting to reverse the law (Roe v. Wade) that has made it legal to abort babies in the womb. As we now speak (February 16-18, 2005), the U.S. Supreme Court is deliberating on hearing Norma McCorvey's petition to reverse Roe v. Wade.

Lou Engle has felt an urgency in his spirit to call the young children to pray alongside the adults for, not only Norma McCorvey's case to be heard by the Supreme Court, but to also have the Roe v. Wade law to be overturned altogether.

Every voice must be heard! Let's join together as one in prayer to see this law overturned! Nothing is impossible with our God!

I feel pressed this morning to call the church and particularly the children of America to three days of special prayer. From the 16th to the 18th of this month, the U.S. Supreme Court is deliberating whether to hear the court case of Norma McCorvey, the Roe in Roe v. Wade, who is petitioning the court to reverse the landmark decision that legalized abortion in 1973.

Hundreds of thousands of e-mails have gone out around the world calling for prayer concerning this case. This is a worldwide thrust to end abortion! However, there is one more group that I believe must pray to win this war – the little children.

A 15-Year-Old's Dream

Just recently, one of our youth, a 15-year-old, at the Justice House of Prayer had a dream. In the dream, she saw a large, beautiful building with the words "The Who" appearing on the front of it. She and her sisters entered the house and began to look throughout the building until they found the attic where there was a series of old books from the past, that they knew would be important for the future. Just a few weeks after her dream we went to pray at a prayer embassy in D.C. The young girl was intrigued as she found the building looked remarkably similar to the one in her dream. She shared her dream with the team that evening, never imagining the significant turn of events that would follow.

The very next morning, I received an e-mail from a man in Kansas City that included a sermon he gave several years ago on what must occur for abortion to end. He felt led to send it to me, even though he felt it was unusual that the analogy the Lord had given him was based on the Dr. Seuss book, "Horton Hears a Who". In this children's book, the microscopic town of Whoville is about to be destroyed by a kangaroo that doesn't believe in it's existence. Horton implores that the town raise their voices so that the kangaroo will believe that there is life on this small clover; their very lives depend on their voice being heard.

And Horton called back, "I can hear you just fine.
But the Kangaroo's ears aren't as strong, quite, as mine.
They don't hear a thing! Are you sure all your boys
Are doing their best? Are they ALL making noise?
Are you sure every Who down in Who-ville is working?
Quick! Look through your town! Is there anyone shirking?"

Through the town rushed the Mayor, from the east to the west.
But everyone seemed to be doing his best.
Everyone seemed to be yapping or yipping!
Everyone seemed to be beeping or bipping!
But it wasn't enough, all this ruckus and roar!
He HAD to find someone to help him make more.
He raced through each building! He searched floor-to-floor!

And, just as he felt he was getting nowhere,
And almost about to give up in despair,
He suddenly burst through a door and that Mayor
Discovered one shirker! Quite hidden away
In the Fairfax Apartments (Apartment 12-J)
[12 = government; J = Justice]
A very small, very small shirker named Jo-Jo
Was standing, just standing, and bouncing a Yo-Yo!
Not making a sound! Not a yipp! Not a chirp!
And the Mayor rushed inside and grabbed the young twerp!

And he climbed with the lad up the Eiffelberg Tower.
"This," cried the Mayor, "is your town's darkest hour!
The time for all Whos who have blood that is red
[a connection with the Blood.]
To come to the aid of their Country!" he said.
"We've GOT to make noise in greater amounts!
So, open your mouth, lad! For every voice counts!"
Thus he spoke as he climbed. When they got to the top,
The lad cleared his throat and he shouted out, "YOPP!"

And that Yopp...
That one small, extra Yopp put it over!
Finally, at last! From that speck on that clover
Their voices were heard! They rang out clear.
And the elephant smiled. "Do you see what I mean?...
They've proved they ARE persons, no matter how small.
[I believe the crux of the Abortion issue is the deception from satan that says the unborn are not people at all.]
And their whole world was saved by the Smallest of All!"

"How true! Yes, how true," said the big Kangaroo.
"And, from now on, you know what I'm planning to do?...
From now on, I'm going to protect them with you!"
And the kangaroo in her pouch said,...
"...ME TOO!
From sun in the summer. From rain when it's fallish,
I'm going to protect them. No matter how smallish!"

This "old" book, read in the context of our battle against abortion and the call on this generation, is stunning. We believe it is one of the keys for our battle NOW. The voice of the children must be heard.

The Call to the Young

We are Calling the Children to Prayer February 16th to 18th. Spread the word. Every YOP (Young One Praying) counts. Every voice must be raised! Pray for the nine Justices, particularly for Sandra Day O'Conner. Pray that God will interrupt the dreams of these judges with His own visions in the night. Plead the Blood of Jesus over this nation, our sins and our courts. Pray Isaiah 28:14-22 -- that God would uncover the lies covering abortion and annul the covenant with death that Roe v. Wade established in this nation.

Wouldn't it be the wisdom of God to use a children's book from the "attic of history," to nullify the things that are by the prayers of the smallest of them all? It's time for the little ones to pray....but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong. 1 Corinthians 1:27

God, may every voice be heard!
