Paul Cox: The Mighty Ones Are Coming

Paul Cox gets very good insight from the Lord. If the Old Testament speaks of mighty men of valor, how much more will we see Mighty Ones emerge today. Even Gideon was called a MIGHTY ONE... and he was hiding out at the time, scared to death.

Angels are also mighty spiritual beings. Plus, we can't prove one way or another if God would send some mighty spiritual beings such as angels or even men who have gone to Heaven and God sent them back. There are many stories of that happening in our lifetime. Even little children visit Heaven and come back as mightier beings than they were before. Bob Jones speaks of going to Heaven and coming back with a sudden mighty memory for instance.

I am often riveted by what I see in The Chronicles of Narnia movie series! Many of the scenes in these films mirror what the Lord has revealed to us about the spiritual world. I was especially struck by a scene in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. At the end of the story, Lucy has gone to find Aslan (the Turkish name for a lion) to help in the seemingly hopeless battle that was taking place against the enemies of Narnia. In a calm manner, Aslan says it is time to "Wake up your old friends, the trees." I was stunned, for this is exactly what the Lord had shown us some time earlier about "spiritual beings" that look like trees, specifically cedar trees. These entities are called the Mighty Ones, and it appears that they are now being released on the earth.

Consider these verses in the Book of Joel; in the context of the "day of the Lord" and the "pouring out of the Spirit of God on all flesh in the last days," the Mighty Ones are mentioned:

Joel 2:5-11 (NKJV) With a noise like chariots over mountaintops they leap, like the noise of a flaming fire that devours the stubble, like a strong people set in battle array. Before them the people writhe in pain; all faces are drained of color. They run like mighty men, they climb the wall like men of war; every one marches in formation, and they do not break ranks. They do not push one another; every one marches in his own column. Though they lunge between the weapons, they are not cut down. They run to and fro in the city, they run on the wall; they climb into the houses, they enter at the windows like a thief. The earth quakes before them, the heavens tremble; the sun and moon grow dark, and the stars diminish their brightness. The LORD gives voice before His army, for His camp is very great; for strong is the One who executes His word. For the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; who can endure it?

Joel 3:9-11 (NKJV) Proclaim this among the nations: "Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near, let them come up. Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, 'I am strong.'" Assemble and come, all you nations, and gather together all around. Cause Your mighty ones to go down there, O LORD.

I was in North Carolina a few years ago when the Lord first revealed to us the Mighty Ones. Just before I left for my trip, an intercessor told me that the Lord would show me a new spiritual being on my left side 90 degrees in front of me. While conducting the school, I perceived something in front of me to the left and we got the words "Mighty Ones." Those in the school said they looked like trees. The trees seemed to be like a cedar tree with a hollow center. Because of the supernatural nature of the Mighty Ones, they also appear to change shape into men with gold helmets with red and purple feathers. There also appears to be honey dripping down over them. We also noticed that our faces were hot! Isaiah 13:2-8 (NKJV) says:

"Lift up a banner on the high mountain, raise your voice to them; wave your hand, that they may enter the gates of the nobles. I have commanded My sanctified ones; I have also called My mighty ones for My anger – those who rejoice in My exaltation." The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like that of many people! A tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together! The LORD of hosts musters the army for battle. They come from a far country, from the end of Heaven – the LORD and His weapons of indignation, to destroy the whole land. Wail, for the day of the LORD is at hand! It will come as destruction from the Almighty. Therefore all hands will be limp, every man's heart will melt, and they will be afraid. Pangs and sorrows will take hold of them; they will be in pain as a woman in childbirth; they will be amazed at one another; their faces will be like flames."

Prepare to Battle in New Ways

Prophetically we began receiving words about this spiritual army in 2005 in Australia. The word was specifically for Australia, but then had a larger context.

In 2006 in Burns Lake, Canada and in 2007 in Venlo, Netherlands, we received more words about this army of the Lord, the Mighty Ones on the earth.

In 2008 many words were given about the coming of the Mighty Ones. Mimi Lowe received this word on November 15, 2008: "War. War. The war is not over yet. Revelation is being held back. There is still war going on. The enemy wanted to come in like a flood, but I protected you. The enemy could not come near you. The Mighty Ones, the Mighty Ones. More revelation about the Mighty Ones."

On November 14, 2010, it was prophesied that a mighty army was coming to our high desert in California. On that date, we confirmed that indeed a righteous spiritual invasion had taken place. I have now been to other places where prophetic words have declared the arrival of the army of the Lord.

The Lord has woken up the Mighty Ones. The nature of spiritual warfare is changing and we must be prepared to battle in new ways.
