Imagine a massive 8.5 earthquake happens in a large city nearby. Suddenly 10's of thousands of displaced people are looking for a place of refuge. Are you prepared to respond to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs that will arise in the midst of such an event? Do you have the tools and training to deploy into an environment such as this to meet not only the practical needs but the urgent spiritual needs of the survivors? This training will have a focus on putting feet to the cities of refuge vision as we turn a school into a "refuge center" and base camp for disaster relief.

Registration includes meals, accommodations, responder gear, certificate and credentials. This training simulates a deployment to a disaster and/or operations in a shelter environment. All trainees are required to stay overnight during the duration of the training in shelter like conditions.
