Mantles, Measures and Mandates III Conference

with Dr. Mark Chironna, Bishop Joseph Garlington and Bishop Michael Pitts

January 12th-14th, 2011 - Fredericksburg, VA

Purpose
During a day filled with calamity and opportunity, uncertainty and hope, when a disparaged and displaced people longed for a recovery of community and conversation returned from a period of exile in Babylon to a city marred, charred, and devastated. Jerusalem had been torn down and left desolate, and a faithful remnant found their way back to the forsaken city held together by an energizing memory of a former day of glory, and laid hold of a radical hope for a restored future. By the waters of Babylon they had to sit and weep as they remembered "Zion." The psalmist said, "they hung their harps on the willows." Essentially, they lost their joy, and now lived in a fragmented disconnected state of disorientation and displacement. When the Lord turned their captivity and they found themselves back on the highway to Zion, their anticipation of the power to create and sustain new collaborative partnerships with each other and with God Himself caused them to incline their ears to hear what the prophets of that day were saying. It was the voices of Zechariah, Haggai, and Malachi that gave them the ability to harness their collective resources both spiritual and material to begin to rebuild what now was torn down. One of the most powerful declarations regarding the key to recovery, revelation, and new creation came from the lips of a prophet whose name means "My messenger." Malachi uttered these pivotal words that contained one of the great secrets of the ages that unlocks invisible resources, revelation, and revenue from the world beyond the three-dimensional world of time and space, and causes it to manifest in the visible world. Give these words a fresh hearing: "Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord gave attention and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the Lord and who esteem His name."

What relevance does that prophetic utterance have for these days when the post-modern culture is seemingly quickly becoming a post-Christian culture? Is it possible to see a recovery of the glory, power, and transformational effect of God on the nation and the nations? Can we come together, not in debate where someone wins or loses, rather where we can create the kind of sustainable, collaborative partnerships that foster a sense of mutual ownership in a vision greater than ourselves? Can we develop the kind of deep listening skills that open not only one another's hearts when we sit at the table to speak to one another, but also open the heart of the Father to begin to act on those things which we share with each other that contain the same seeds of creative power that brought the very world into existence by the "Let there be" of God in the beginning?

There is a dimension to be penetrated and accessed. There is a world more real than the visible world that contains resources and revenues yet to be appropriated for this generation. Accessing that greater invisible world by the power of the Spirit requires a coming together, the relinquishing of our points of view, and the shift to a more inspired viewing point. It is from that height that we can tap into the collective wisdom inherent in everyone at the table as well as the Divine Wisdom of the One Who listens in at the table in delight over what begins to emerge. There are things that want to emerge, which cannot emerge apart from being brought to speech. Nothing happens in the Kingdom without a word being released. That WORD has to be in a collective mouth, where two or even three gather together to harmonize with each other and with Heaven. Mantles, Measures, and Mandates is not as much an event as it is a "happening." Our intention in coming together, bringing apostolic and prophetic voices to one table where they openly, honestly, and transparently engage each other in the Word and the Spirit, is to access that FOURTH DIMENSION, that greater reality of the invisible world from which everything in the visible world derives its existence. At that table miracles can be released to those whose privilege it is to listen in on the conversation. At that table wounds can be healed for those in attendance whose hearts need mending. At that table strength can be imparted to those called to lead the way in their spheres and measures of rule, be they called to the market place or the meeting place. Mantles, Measures, and Mandates is the kind of gathering, the kind of "happening" that is designed to challenge and examine our assumptions about the fundamental act of speaking, listening, and conversing. All of which is meant to be done in harmony with Heaven in order that the Kingdom can advance. As we gather together in Fredericksburg, Virginia, Bishop Joseph Garlington, Bishop Michael Pitts, and Dr. Mark Chironna are going to continue a conversation that began in Atlanta regarding penetrating the fourth dimension, seizing kairos moments, becoming kairos individuals, shifting atmospheres and transforming environments. Who will profit from such an event? Anyone interested in discovering new keys to the favor of God, the sustainability of success, the recovery of passion and pursuit, the desire for networking, the call to lead, the call to follow, the call to transform the culture. Every child of God has a mantle. Every child of God has a measure. Every child of God has a mandate. Facilitating the equipping of each individual requires more than one voice. It requires a choir of voices all moving in harmonious resonance with each other and with Heaven. Something is moving! Something is changing. In this day of challenge, opportunities will abound for a fresh manifestation of God's presence and power in and through a people who are postured, prepared, and positioned for greatness. You don't want to miss this gathering. It promises to be the kind of "happening" that will create an immersion experience into the river of God in a way you have desperately cried out for and longed for.
