THE VISION - THE GLORY OF GOD BREAKS FORTH ON MOUNT FUJI, JAPAN

I saw a vision of a mountain and it had the words 'Mount Fuji' written upon it. There was complete darkness all around, not just partial darkness, but not a single light anywhere. The only thing I could see with my naked eye was the mountain and the two words upon it. There was also complete silence, not a single sound could I hear, not a single movement anywhere could I discern only - silence, darkness, stillness.

Then the scene changed dramatically and I watched in awe as the mountain exploded with tremendous force and from the very center of the mountain proceeded the Lord Himself. And I heard a loud shout "For His Glory shall be Revealed as it Rises upon the Earth". The mountain erupted as a volcano and I saw the Lord proceed from the center of this fire. He shot upwards holding a Lamp in his hands. I saw that the Lord was looking and searching over all the earth, His eyes roaming as He surveyed the lands all around Him. There was now a breathtaking Light as His presence filled the place above the fire erupting from the mouth of the volcano.

I saw that there were two false gods - one on each side of the mountain - one had a moon upon it and the other a sun. They were graven images and I sensed that these were false gods that had caused the judgement of the Lord to come forth as fire from the very bowels of the earth. As the Lord rose up from the mountain these two false gods cracked and crumbled before my very eyes, disintegrating into nothing in His presence.

The darkness was now pierced and I saw there were many people all dressed in black. Not one face could I see for they were all on the ground with their faces pressed into the earth. There was an incredible sense of mourning, loud weeping and wailing now filled the air. The Lord was still looking everywhere and I heard Him speak these words:

"Where are those whose lamps are to be lit?" He said it over and over and over again. He looked everywhere for those whose lamps could be lit, but no one had a lamp. Everyone continued to weep and wail and to press their faces into the earth in mourning. And a silence fell upon this place, and a sense of complete separation from the Lord, and desolation at a lack of His Presence.

INTERPRETATION I believe that the Lord anticipates times of crises and prepares His people accordingly. Whilst I believe this vision is a prophetic warning of forthcoming judgement (for false gods) - specifically sun and moon worship revealed in this vision - I also believe that we are not to despair, but to seek the Lord's face in all haste. The word seems to be specifically for Japan, since the mountain clearly showed the words "Mount Fuji". I believe it is also a prophetic foretelling of a massive volcanic eruption - which, in this case, is the outward manifestation of the Lord's judgement.

The Lord foretells His judgement upon the nations because He is a God of infinite mercy. He is supremely sovereign and He desires that we step into the place of intercession and repent for the sins of our nations. Let us join our hearts and hands across the globe and in deep repentance and humility come before our heavenly Father, asking forgiveness for idolatry in Japan and in every nation, that we might receive the Lord's glory, see His mercy triumph over judgement and have our lamps lit by the precious oil of His Spirit.
