Cindy McGill:
"God's HEIR-Port"
From
Steve Shultz regarding Cindy McGill's Ministry on the Streets:
Cindy McGill has been somewhat "hidden" (but not from God) for years in the
past. She is hidden no longer. My goodness!
Derene, my wife, and I had dinner with her the week before last, and Cindy and I
did a conference together last week.
While she is not the first to trumpet street ministry, she is one of the most
effective at showing the church how to actually do it because, in her own words,
she says, "I'm addicted to it." I love it when she says publicly at her
conferences, "Look, we don't even know what we're doing. We just go out and He
does the rest."
She taught at our prophetic/Bible school last week and one young man at first
resisted. Suddenly, he couldn't get enough street "victims." He himself got
"addicted."
Cindy was originally trained under John Paul Jackson, but she stands in my view
now, after being trained by such a great ministry as Streams Ministry (John
Paul)--she stands as a peer--second to none---and she has a great deal to teach
the church at large what it really means to get OUT on the streets and outside
the four walls of the church.
Wow! And she has video to back up what she does.
She is amazing. And while I don't believe in elevating a person beyond who they
really are, this is one woman of God who I don't Believe I'm elevating beyond
anything. She's the real deal. When she is among the few that are really doing
the works of the Kingdom outside the four walls, It would be difficult to
elevate her "too much."
She is awesome. You ought to have her at your own church, by the way--if she can
fit it in her schedule.
Blessings,
Steve Shultz

God's
International Heir-Port
This morning I saw a line of airplanes
ready to take off. All of these planes were full to capacity and were all sizes.
They were going different places like over the water, from coast to coast, from
north to south, east to west, and some were going remote places where big jets
could not go. The heirs of salvation were ready to go. Everyone on board was
packed for the area they were being sent and the Lord was the air traffic
controller, orchestrating the timing of their take off.
I also saw some planes coming in for a landing, depositing passengers to the
incoming location. After refueling and reloading, these planes had a quick turn
around and were sent back into the air for the next destination.
New Prophetic Ministries Emerging
God is launching many, many prophetic ministries into this harvest. These
ministries are varied and have different callings and flavors. The team dynamics
of these ministries are unusual. People who would have not "fit together" in the
natural, are joining together, arm in arm, creating strength for the mission
they have been given. The common goal is in front of them, and their strengths
are weaved together to accomplish that goal.
God has assembled people from every walk of life, trained in different skills
and with different ways of thinking, to labor together. Everyone's strength is
connected, enabling the whole body to function in strength. One member is not
more important than the other. In Romans 12: 3-5,
Paul writes:
For I say, through
the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself
more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt
to each one a measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, but
all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one
body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
And in 1
Corinthians 12:14-25 it says:
For in fact the body
is not one member but many. If the foot should say, "Because I am not a
hand, I am not of the body," is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear
should say, "Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body," is it therefore
not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where would be the
hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? But
now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He
pleased. And if they were all one member, where would the body be?
But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. And the eye
cannot say to the hand, "I have no need of you"; nor again the head to the
feet, "I have no need of you." No, much rather, those members of the body
which seem to be weaker are necessary. And those members of the body which
we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our
unpresentable parts have greater modesty, but our presentable parts have no
need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part
which lacks it, that there should be no schism in the body, but that the
members should have the same care for one another.
We are connected to each other, Christ
being the head, and He is launching us into this harvest field in many places,
diverse in our gifts and callings.
We have been given angelic help for the task. I watched as fighter jets
surrounded the incoming prophetic ministry, assuring that the touchdown and
landing would be unhindered, and the mission it was being sent for would be
successful. Some of these ministries were going into territory where an escort
was needed. God is increasing our angelic help as we board these planes, and
boldly go where He is sending us.
Psalms 104:1-5 says:
Bless the Lord, O my
soul! O Lord my God, You are very great: You are clothed with honor and
majesty, Who cover Yourself with light as with a garment, Who stretch out
the heavens like a curtain. He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the
waters, Who makes the clouds His chariot, Who walks on the wings of the
wind, Who makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flame of fire. You who
laid the foundations of the earth, So that it should not be moved forever.
And Psalms 91:11
says: For He shall give His angels charge over you, To
keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash
your foot against a stone.
And Hebrews 1:13-14 says:
But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on
my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all
ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of
salvation?
These ministries sent by God are guaranteed that the One who has sent them has
also gone before them, preparing the way and lining out the path, for a sure
victory. Many, many souls will be rescued from an eternal destiny of
destruction, and the arms of His sent ministers become God's arms, wrapped with
flesh to save, heal, and destroy the works of darkness all over the world. The
lame are walking, the blind are seeing, and eyes are opening as the "Light" of
the world is snatching them out of darkness and delivering them into the Kingdom
of light. God IS light and in Him is no darkness at all, and the world is
searching for Light.
Servant Leadership
I saw the pilots of such "ministries". These leaders have servant hearts. Their
whole focus is to listen to the voice of the "air traffic controller" and follow
His commands, and the results will be long lasting both for the ministers sent
and the ones receiving whom God has sent. Their leadership style is kind and
gentle, yet fierce when confronted with any "turbulence" they would encounter in
the flight. Jeremiah 3:15--And I will give you
shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and
understanding.
Servant leaders follow the example of Christ Himself, being a servant of all,
however, their assignment is uncompromised and there is a tenacity to stand in
the place they have been given. In this season of new leadership, servant
leaders will re-define leadership God's way and submission to this leadership
will be easy, free from fear of misuse of authority.
Those Who Follow
As servant leaders lead, those who follow will find it in their hearts to do
everything they can to obey their leaders. Not wanting to serve their own
agenda, but rightly assisting these leaders in the task they have been assigned.
There will be an ability to see the bigger picture, knowing that God is always
looking for other leaders to promote. His eyes are looking for those who have
chosen to come under Godly leadership because that is where they will learn to
lead when they are called upon by God to do so. God is never moved to favor
pride. In fact, He resists it, but gives grace to humble, teachable hearts.
There is also a protection in place, that if leaders choose to mislead, God is
well able to deal with those He has put into place. It is God's job to deal with
His servants, and He is much better at it than we would ever be.
Believing God In This Hour
Believing God and acting in obedience will get God's attention. It is an act of
faith, and faith pleases God. Packing for the trip, getting on the "plane",
sitting next to the person you are assigned to sit next to, and being taken to
your destination is very exciting. We don't see what is ahead, because it hasn't
been shown to us, but we have been given the invitation to join God in the
adventure of our lives. Remember, Abraham believed God and it was accounted to
him as righteousness. Romans 4:3--For what does the
Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for
righteousness."
Believing God will bring:
1) the favor of God
2) a work of righteousness in our hearts
3) and an accomplished mission, done God's way
As we see the timing of God in launching these many ministries, let us seek to
do what we can to encourage these works, not resisting them because we might not
understand. This is God's work. He is doing it His way to reach the ones He has
planned for these ministries to reach. There is a harvest to reap.
All Aboard!
Bless ya,
Cindy McGill

From The Religious Spirit"
Understanding How Deceptive Religious Forces Try to
Destroy God's Plan & Purpose
For His Church C.
Peter Wagner, General Editor
$9.99
Book
"Cults
and false religions are easily discerned and discarded,
but the religious spirit is extremely subtle. It has attempted to thwart
possibly every revival or movement of God to date, and it still retains an
undeserved seat of honor throughout a huge part of today’s Church. If you would
like to recognize the influence of this spirit and find freedom for yourself and
others, then Freedom from the Religious Spirit is for you! - Rick
Joyner, Founder and Executive Director, MorningStar Publications and Ministries,
Author of The Final Quest and Overcoming Evil in the Last Days
I've
heard of this "getting rid of a religious spirit" for years. I've even dealt
harshly with it in my own life. But, only now, has someone with as high a
profile as C. Peter Wagner (and others who write for this book, including Rick
Joyner, Kimberly Daniels, and Chuck Pierce) had the courage to address it . . .
openly . . . and publicly . . . to the Church at large.
Read it . . . if you dare! - Steve Shultz, THE ELIJAH LIST
BREAK THE BONDS THAT KEEP YOU FROM TRUE SPIRITUAL
TRANSFORMATION
Join C. Peter Wagner and other dynamic Christian leaders as they unveil the dark
influence of the spirit of religion. Freedom from the Religious Spirit is
exciting reading for those who are committed to seeing the kingdom of God
aggressively advance in this time.
