I have known sister Josephine Ayers for many years and have been ministered to by her spoken words from the Lord over me and my ministry. I bare a strong witness to her now word, "Don't Be Afraid of the Pot I'm Putting You In." In my fifty years of walking with the Lord, I have concluded that God loves the word "uncomfortable" for us. It runs like a red scarlet thread of redemption throughout the Bible and our own lives to keep saving us from ourselves and our own plans from ruining us. Being uncomfortable is a sign that the true call of God is working in our lives.
When a person receives a true prophetic word from the Lord, there will often be homework to do and some tests to take before it is manifested. Until Joseph's word from the Lord came to pass, the word of the Lord tried him (Psalm 105:19). Sometimes it's difficult to remember that God has a dream for us. He wants us to be changed into the image and likeness of his Son, Jesus Christ. Often that's a lengthy and challenging process. At the right moment, everything falls into place.
I pray time flies for you while God is fulfilling His dream in your life. Be patient with the uncomfortable interruptions that may come along the way. Sometimes they come in multiples, but they are God's "Miracle Grow" that grows you out of your pot and into a larger place in His Kingdom.

Do Not Be Afraid of the Pot I Am Putting You In

I sense this is a season of big changes for many. It feels very unsettling, and changes include shifting locations, relationships, and assignments. In fact, some of the assignments may seem so audacious, many are shrinking back and even saying, "How can this be?" just as Mary did when the angel told her she would give birth to the Messiah, unmarried.
Time is of the essence to act! While this is not the first time I am posting this word, "Do Not Be Afraid of the Pot I Am Putting You In," I have felt strongly lead by God to repost it now.
Prophetic word originally released on May 6, 2024:
Several years ago, my younger son gave me an Aloe vera plant (a type of succulent whose juice is frequently used for burns). The plant was about an inch and a half tall, in a very small, homemade pottery planter. I kept this for years, and I mean years. We moved it with us to California. It sat on my kitchen counter, and it stayed the same for years—absolutely no growth, but was still alive. It even got pulled out of the dirt a couple of times, replanted, but remained changeless. One day I inquired of the Lord, "Why has this plant never shown any growth?"
He impressed upon me that I should get a very, very large planter, the kind you put on the floor. I did so, filled it with potting soil, and stuck that little inch-and-a-half Aloe vera plant in there. If the plant could think, it might have felt overwhelmed at the size of this planter or felt lost in a sea of dirt.
Within a couple of weeks, it started to grow, and fast. Soon it overtook the pot and had multiple babies in it. Now I had many plants off the main plant, which was no longer an inch and a half. My cup ran over with Aloe vera plants, and I began to give them away as gifts.
You Cannot Have Growth Without Expansion
What the Lord showed me was that growth could not happen without expansion, and that many in the Body are being promoted, but the "pot" that is coming their way has overwhelmed them. He went on to say that fear of the unknown is their biggest enemy, not lack of anointing.
The Lord went on again that some will stay in their pots with the old dirt, and some will march out in faith, not knowing how it will all be. They (those who stay in their old pots) will miss the fullness of what He has for them because of fear and unbelief. They will still be blessed, but it is the ones who embrace the process who will be doubly blessed—those who go all out, fearlessly, with the amazingly large and audacious dreams and visions God has put in their hearts.
The Lord says, "I cannot multiply you without faith and trust in Me. I have new territory for you, with fresh soil to take back ground for My Kingdom. Do not be afraid, because the provision is already there. You have merely to step out and let Me replant you and expand and multiply you and your tents. I want to share your gifts with many."
So let us step up to the plate, and let Him knock it out of the park!
