Refined as Silver and Sweeter Than Honey
On April 18, 2026, during a corporate prophetic gathering in Boston, I saw the Lord mantling His Bride with a fresh, new anointing for battle. A small remnant of intercessors had gathered in the Cradle of Liberty to honor the 250th anniversary of America's founding.
As we worshiped and prayed about America's covenant roots, the Lord gave me a second vision: He broke into the center of the meeting room from above, holding a silver spoon. The spoon was dripping with golden honey.
The vision was a picture of the anointed Word, said to be like refined silver and sweeter than honey, sustaining God's people (Psalms 12:6–7; 19:10; 119:103).
Paul Revere's "night watch" ride took place on April 18, 1775. This famous Bostonian was a silversmith by trade. A revolutionary new day of glory is coming, and the strategies released in the season of the night watch would give us a preliminary taste of that victory.
The Individual Anointing
On September 19, 2026, the Lord brought me into another related encounter. Father God appeared to me as a column of holy fire in the center of the room. His presence seemed to turn everything in the room into fire. He placed His hands on my shoulders and translated me up through this fiery column, high into the heavenly realm above the earth. As I stood with the Father there, looking down at the earth, He showed me honey once again, this time dripping from Heaven to earth.
The sweet liquid gold of Heaven fell continually like drops upon the earth to refresh His people at war. Just as Jonathan's face brightened when he tasted honey in the middle of the war against the Philistines (1 Samuel 14), so the Lord has been strengthening and brightening His people, and the flow of honey is increasing.
1 Samuel 14 tells us that Jonathan and his armor-bearer boldly came out of the cave where 600 of Saul's warriors were hiding. These two bold individuals, willing to die in the battle, secretly visited the Philistines' garrison. On hearing a predetermined cue, they attacked their enemies, believing that God would deliver their enemies into their hands.
Jonathan's boldness eventually brought all of Saul's warriors out of hiding, but the battle was fierce. Roman-Jewish historian Flavius Josephus tells us that the thick wood where this battle took place was "full of bees."(1) When Jonathan found honey flowing on the ground, he tasted it, and his strength returned. He did not know that Saul, in his anger and desire for revenge, had cursed anyone who ate before the battle was won.
Placing the tip of his staff (which literally means "branch" in Hebrew, Strong's H4294) into the honeycomb, Jonathan symbolically connected Himself to Christ, the living Branch, and was sustained by God's provision for his battle.
The remarkable effect of this honey was that it brightened Jonathan's eyes: "Then Jonathan said, 'My father has troubled the land. See now, how my eyes have brightened because I tasted a little of this honey. How much more, if only the people had eaten freely today of the spoil of their enemies which they found! For now the slaughter among the Philistines has not been great.'" (1 Samuel 14:29–30 NASB1995) (Photo via Flickr)
In Scripture, honey symbolizes the sweetness of God's words (Psalm 19:10). It can also represent the Promised Land, glory, and facets of God's glory (Proverbs 25:27; Ezekiel 16:13, 20:6).
Like the wise man who saved a city, Jonathan's individual anointing brought God's deliverance to Israel, "and the battle spread beyond Beth-aven" (1 Samuel 14:23). Beth-aven is translated as vanity or "house of vanity" (Strong's H1007). And the victory God is bringing to the Church today is similar: He is moving Believers away from "Saul-ish" (or soulish) self to pure obedience to His Word—the place of His richest anointing.
When our eyes are full of light, our whole bodies become light (Matthew 6:22)! I prophesy to you that as you reach for Christ right now, the honey of Heaven will bring a fresh perspective and renewed strength for your battle. Just as Jonathan won his battle and took new territory after tasting the honey, so God is expanding your territory as you make His Word and strategies your feast in this season.
Build like a Honeybee!
Our Father freely satisfies His children with divine honey so they can expand the Kingdom of God. But He calls us, like honeybees, to build and bear fruit from rest and fullness in the Spirit, not stress. Let me explain.
For a bee, expansion, or home building, is comb building. Bees need an average of about seven pounds of honey for each pound of comb they produce! Honey is what fuels their metabolism. The number seven, appearing twice in this Jewish year 5787, represents completeness and rest, as well as doubled restoration... glory!
Consider Amos' words about rebuilding the tabernacle of David. He prophesied a type of glory-life, as acceleration will overtake God's Kingdom-builders: "'Behold, the days are coming,' declares the LORD, 'when the plowman shall overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed; the mountains shall drip sweet wine, and all the hills shall flow with it. I will restore the fortunes of My people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be uprooted out of the land that I have given them,' says the LORD your God" (Amos 9:13–15 ESV).
But there's more...
A Collective Anointing
As I pressed in to understand the vision further, I saw that from all angles, even as the earth rotated on its axis, honey was covering the globe gently and quietly, as it flowed from the surrounding realm of the Spirit. I heard the Father say that honey is a "collective" product—the result of a corporate effort from the "hive" of His Kingdom laborers. A single bee could not produce such large quantities of honey. What I saw represented the corporate anointing of glory.
"Thus says the LORD, 'As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, "Do not destroy it, for there is benefit in it," so I will act on behalf of My servants in order not to destroy all of them.'" (Isaiah 65:8 NASB1995)
I saw that by faith and prayer, many deposits had already been made by God's "worker bees" in the individual cells of the honeycomb. The Divine Beekeeper had been watching and waiting to see when the hive was full to release His honey...
I saw how essential the individual prayers and "cell group" equippings throughout the Body of Christ were to the whole. And I knew that at the right time, Father would open the hive to pour out the honey. This liquid, golden glory was created in dark, hidden, secret places within the hive, but the honey would shine with brilliant light as He poured it out on the earth.
I heard the Father say that a season of heavenly sweetness was being released upon His people. This is the "golden age" of enjoying the fruits of our individual and collective efforts, and this sweet outpouring will sustain the Body of Christ in the times of increased warfare. As natural battles mount, moments of refreshing will also come, yet without the opposition faced earlier from fleshly "Sauls." (Photo via Unsplash)
"The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of the Lord are true; they are righteous altogether. They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb." (Psalm 19:9–10 NASB1995)
In Psalm 19:10, God's sweet-as-honey words, dripping from the honeycomb, are not just words; they are actually judgments... Judgments are verdicts or rulings issued from Heaven's courts against the enemy—sweet vindication released as God decrees justice for His people!
The Lord closed this vision by quoting Samson's riddle from Judges 14:14: "Out of the eater came something to eat, and out of the strong came something sweet."
Samson had killed an attacking lion as he went down to the Philistine camp to get a wife. Interestingly, the Bible says that from the lion, he scraped the honey out of the comb into his hands, eating it as he went (Judges 14:9). In this verse, "scraped" is the Hebrew word radah, and it means "to tread down," "to crumble off," "subjugate," or "rule" (Strong's H7287).
Flavius Josephus writes this riddle as "Nothing is more disagreeable than a lion to those that light on it, and nothing is sweeter than honey to those that make use of it."(2)
Josephus also adds that Samson presented his future bride with three portions of that honeycomb as part of her wedding gift!(3)
What a fitting picture of covenant victory for God's saints! God's heart is to provide nourishment on the go for His warriors—mobile meals sourced in the King of all lions, the Lion of Judah!
Ready for Glory—Righteousness Through Repentance
On October 9, 2026, the Lord urged me to share these visions of glory but with a caution.
We have heard many people quip, "Get ready for the glory!" But using a familiar Scripture, the Father reminded us what true readiness to receive His glory really is.
Psalm 11:3 says, "If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?" Although Believers often rightly see the destroyed foundations of our nation as a chief problem, this Scripture, like Samson's words, contains a deeper riddle. If individual, or collective, foundations are destroyed through lies, deceit, anger, unforgiveness, malice, slander, greed, or selfishness, even those who consider themselves "righteous"
can do nothing!
I hear a solemn call from the Lord to remember that to be ready for His glory is not just to say "Yes, Lord, come quickly!" It is not mental assent but wholehearted, experiential preparation. True readiness is a righteousness that recognizes sin and is daily purified through repentance.
Romans 11:22 echoes such a warning: "Behold then the kindness and severity of God; to those who fell, severity, but to you, God's kindness, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off" (NASB1995). In Christ, there is both kindness and severity. Those who continue in His kindness, clothing themselves with the same, will enjoy His kindness, which is an extension of His glory. They partake of the bridal covenant promises that both the Song of Songs and the Psalms portray:
"I have come into my garden, my sister, my bride; I have gathered my myrrh along with my balsam. I have eaten my honeycomb and my honey; I have drunk my wine and my milk. Eat, friends; drink and imbibe deeply, O lovers." (Song of Solomon 5:1 NASB1995) (Photo via Unsplash)
"For the LORD is righteous, He loves righteousness; The upright will behold His face." (Psalm 11:7 NASB1995)
Proverbs 25:26–27 reveals the opposite effect of exulting in glory: "Like a trampled spring and a polluted well is a righteous man who gives way before the wicked. It is not good to eat much honey, nor is it glory to search out one's own glory" (NASB1995).
John tasted the bittersweet nature of this "dualistic" glory when he wrote, "So I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little book. And he said to me, 'Take it and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.' I took the little book out of the angel's hand and ate it, and in my mouth it was sweet as honey; and when I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter. And they said to me, 'You must prophesy again concerning many peoples and nations and tongues and kings'" (Revelation 10:9–11 NASB1995).
Today, as the Father solemnly reminded me of the nature of suffering that people encounter if they do not repent, He also released words of hope and great beauty for those who do. God promises that He Himself will restore any broken foundations in our lives or nation as we seek Him (Isaiah 54:11–14). In righteousness—that is, in Christ, who is our Righteousness—you will be established and kept far from oppression, fear, and terror. God turns every stumbling stone of sin, offense, and unrighteousness in the Believer's life into a precious stone as He redeems and restores righteousness through repentance!
In the glory of God, as we dip our staff into the sweet honey of His anointing, we find comfort and restoration, strength and light, purity and holiness! Word and Spirit partner together with the yielded Bride to bring glorious victories from Heaven to earth.
Glory can come no other way. God's outpouring of kindness must have recipients who are hungry for its sweetness yet mindful of its judgments. May we become such people—a Bride truly ready for the increasing glory He is pouring out upon the earth today!
