Supernatural Acceleration
In a time of prayer, I had a vision of a wormhole bending time and space. It was a wrinkle, a bridge connecting two distant points together in a moment. As I saw it, I heard the Lord say, "Acceleration!"
This is a word and a picture of what God is releasing over the Body of Christ in this hour. Things that would normally take years will take months. Things that would take months will take days. Things that would take days will take hours.
It echoes a word the Lord spoke to me on May 2, 2023:
"Micah, I haven't called My people to waste time. I have called them to bend time. My people are called to time travel, to walk by the Spirit and not gratify the desires of the flesh.
"The enemy is a time bandit. He is a thief. He works to kill, steal, and destroy. He intends to steal the Body of Christ's time with distraction and idleness. He works to take the Church's attention and affection. But in the spirit, My people bend time and time travel. They must multiply and accelerate."
A word about this language: When I talk about wormholes, a fifth dimension, or time travel, I am not making a claim about physics. These are pictures, prophetic imagery for a spiritual reality, the same way Jesus called Himself a door and a vine.
The Spirit Who Is Outside of Time
"God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." (John 4:24 NASB1995)
God is Spirit. He exists outside of time and space! We are confined to three dimensions of space and one dimension of time. But God isn't constrained! His realm is supernatural, meaning it supersedes nature. He weaves in and out of our dimension of time and space with His Word. (Photo via Pexels)
"It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life." (John 6:63 ESV)
The thoughts of God, communicated by the voice of God, accelerate us. We step into a realm of wisdom and revelation that isn't just beyond our personal age. It is beyond this age! It is from the age to come! We inherit a wisdom beyond the years of today.
He is the eternal Spirit. He works within time, but He is above and beyond it. When we walk in the Spirit, we accelerate. We step into the Eternal One who has all wisdom. We walk with the same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead, the same Spirit who walked with the patriarchs and prophets of old.
What Time Is It?
Have you ever asked yourself that? I don't mean what the clock says, I mean spiritually. What season are you in? What is God doing right now in your life? What is He doing in the Church? What is He doing in the earth?
Jesus rebuked the Pharisees because they knew how to interpret the sky, but not the signs of the times (Matthew 16:3). They could read the weather, but they couldn't read Heaven. And He wept over Jerusalem because they did not know the time of their visitation (Luke 19:44). They missed the moment when God Himself walked among them.
The New Testament uses two words for time. Chronos is chronological time, the ticking of the clock. Kairos is God's appointed time, the right time. When Jesus announced, "The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand" (Mark 1:15), the word for "time" is kairos. This is the moment!
Chronos is a clock. Kairos is a window. Every generation has a kairos, a divine window of opportunity, and those who discern it step into destiny. When we walk in the Spirit, who is outside of time and space, our lives become an ongoing kairos moment—a continual visitation. (Photo via Pexels)
Think of a sailboat. It feels alive when the wind, the waves, and the sails all move together. There's rhythm, flow, and grace. But when the sails are off, you feel the resistance. The same is true in the Spirit. When we move in His timing, things flow. When we run ahead of Him or lag behind, things feel heavy and offbeat.
The Time Bandit
The thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10). And one of the first things he steals is time—not always through dramatic sin, but through distraction, through idleness, through small compromises that drain our attention and our affection away from Jesus.
"Pay careful attention, then, to how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil... be filled with the Spirit." (Ephesians 5:15–16, 18 BSB)
Notice how Paul says we redeem the time: be filled with the Spirit. The answer to the time bandit isn't striving harder. It is being filled. When you get in the Spirit, you step outside of this dimension into His.
Wisdom Beyond Your Years
Solomon asked God for a "listening heart" (1 Kings 3:9 LSB), and what he received wasn't man's wisdom. It was wisdom from above. The wisdom of man comes from below, through time and a life of experience. The wisdom of God comes from above, through firsthand experience with His presence. We need both. One comes with time. The other comes from the Spirit. And we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). It isn't just that we can think rightly about Jesus. We can actually think like Jesus. (Photo via Max Pixel)
I've experienced this so many times. Growing up, I always struggled in academics. However, when writing one of my books, I stepped into wisdom and revelation outside of myself and wrote the entire book in one day—in about eight hours. It was supernatural! And that book has reached more people than any of my other books. It has never been my expertise. It has flowed out of me from the Spirit of God.
Beyond the Proper Time
"By faith even Sarah herself received ability to conceive, even beyond the proper time of life, since she considered Him faithful who had promised." (Hebrews 11:11 NASB1995)
Sarah's body was beyond the time to bear children. But she considered Him faithful, and by faith she stepped into the realm of the Spirit, where time does not rule. Her body received the ability of a younger her. She partook of the age to come. That is what I mean by time travel.
Every miracle has a moment. The waters stirred at Bethesda (John 5). Times of refreshing come from the presence of the Lord (Acts 3:19). And your growth in Christ isn't dependent on your age. It's dependent on your contact with the dimension of God. Your growth in Christ isn't subject to time and space.
Break the Power of Delay
There are things Jesus is releasing from His throne: blueprints, strategies, and assignments for individuals, cities, regions, and nations. As His Ekklesia, we are called to govern, not from earth toward Heaven but from Heaven toward earth—from the throne room, from intimacy. When you partner with His mouth, you break the power of delay. You accelerate the clock. You step into kairos time of eternity.
So, What Time Is It for You?
What season are you in? What is God saying right now? Don't just measure time by the clock. Discern it by the Spirit. Because when you move in rhythm with Heaven, everything else comes into sync. God is releasing an acceleration in this hour. In Christ we come into contact with a wrinkle in time, a new dimension and realm—the Kingdom of God! By faith, step through today!
