Yvon Attia: 5787 - The Year of the Wild Ox Anointing

Wipe It Clean

On September 5, 2026, as I was praying and seeking the Lord concerning the Hebrew year 5787, I became very still before Him. Out of nowhere, a curtain opened before me, and I saw a beautiful frame. An image was held within the golden, rope-style frame, but I could not make it out. It seemed old and almost forgotten, covered beneath a layer of dust. I remember looking at it and wanting to know what had been hidden there. Then I heard these words: "Wipe it clean."

The words felt deeply personal. I did not feel as though the Lord was merely telling me to uncover a picture. I felt like I was receiving an invitation: "Come closer. Look again. There is something here I want you to see."

So, in the vision, I began to wipe away the dust. Slowly, the image underneath began to emerge. With every movement it became clearer, until suddenly I could see it plainly: it was a wild ox.

For a moment, I simply stared at it. My attention was immediately drawn to its horns. They were magnificent, strong, elevated, and glorious. There was something almost majestic about them. But what affected me most was not simply what the wild ox looked like. I was affected most by what I seemed to feel coming from it. There was strength—an extraordinary strength—as if the picture was alive.

The Wild Ox

Although I was looking at what appeared to be a framed picture, the image did not feel lifeless. It was almost as though strength itself was emanating from the wild ox. The picture seemed alive before me, and I found myself lingering there looking at it, trying to understand what the Lord was showing me.

My heart began quietly asking Him, "Why the wild ox, Lord? Why are You showing me this? What are You wanting me to see?"

Deep within my spirit, I sensed that this was about more than an animal. I felt the Lord drawing my attention to something about His own nature and character. That realization moved me deeply. Perhaps the dust itself was significant. Something had been present all along, but it needed to be uncovered again. It was as though the Lord was taking an image found throughout Scripture, wiping away the dust of familiarity, and inviting me to see something of Himself that I had not fully noticed before.

And as I continued looking at the wild ox, another image began to rise within me. I thought of the throne. Suddenly, the encounter opened into Scripture. I remembered that when John was taken in the spirit and given one of the most breathtaking glimpses of Heaven recorded in the Bible, there—surrounding the very throne of God—was the image of an ox. That realization arrested me.

The wild ox I had just seen was no longer simply an image of earthly strength. My mind was being drawn from the framed picture before me into the throne room itself. The Lord seemed to be leading me from the symbol to its Biblical revelation.

"In front of the throne was a shiny sea of glass, sparkling like crystal. In the center and around the throne were four living beings, each covered with eyes, front and back. The first of these living beings was like a lion; the second was like an ox; the third had a human face; and the fourth was like an eagle in flight." (Revelation 4:6–7 NLT) (Photo via Unsplash)

John was not the only one who saw an image of the wild ox. Ezekiel also saw the same imagery.

"Each of the four cherubim had four faces: the first was the face of an ox, the second was a human face, the third was the face of a lion, and the fourth was the face of an eagle." (Ezekiel 10:14 NLT)

The Meaning of the Number 7 in 5787: The Lord Is Lifting Up His Horn

David declares in Psalm 92:10, "But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil" (NKJV). The horn is the visible weapon of the animal—the source of strength, defense, authority, and forward force—and David said that God did not merely strengthen his horn; He lifted it. That image becomes especially striking as we enter 5787, because the Hebrew letter associated with the number seven is zayin, a letter that in ancient pictographic teaching has often been associated with the image of a weapon or sword.

Prophetically, the connection is powerful: In the year ending in seven, God is lifting the horn of the wild ox. He is restoring strength, sharpening spiritual authority, and raising His people from a lowered posture into one of courage, victory, and fresh anointing. What was bowed down is being lifted, what was weakened is being strengthened, and what looked defenseless is being equipped again for the battles ahead.

He Is as Strong as a Wild Ox

From that encounter, I began searching the Scriptures for every reference I could find on the wild ox. One passage in Numbers immediately captured my attention. Israel had already defeated Sihon, king of the Amorites, and Og, king of Bashan. By the time they reached the plains of Moab, King Balak saw them very differently from how they had once seen themselves. He did not see slaves or a defeated people; he saw a force advancing toward him.

In Numbers 22:4, King Balak said, "This mob will devour everything in sight, like an ox devours grass in the field!" (NLT). What struck me was that Balak never told Balaam that this was the picture in his mind. He simply summoned him to curse Israel. Yet when Balaam opened his mouth under the direction of God, he declared, "The Lord their God is with them; He has been proclaimed their king. God brought them out of Egypt; for them He is as strong as a wild ox" (Numbers 23:21–22 NLT).

Suddenly the connection became clear: Balak saw Israel like an ox because they were reflecting the strength of the God who was with them. Balak changed locations and tried again, but the word of the Lord did not change. Balaam declared that he was a man "who hears the words of God" and "sees a vision from the Almighty," and once again he prophesied, "God brought them out of Egypt; for them He is as strong as a wild ox" (Numbers 24:3–4, 8 NLT).

The enemy saw the manifestation before he understood the source. He saw strength, momentum, and unstoppable advancement, but Balaam revealed why: The Lord was with them, He was their King, and He was the one who had brought them out. That idea became deeply prophetic to me for 5787. You may still remember weakness, the wilderness, or your Egypt experience, but the enemy may already be reacting to the strength God has placed within you. You may remember where you came from, while Heaven is revealing what you are becoming in His presence.

What God Is Doing Cannot Be Harnessed by Man

Another thing that began to stand out to me is that the wild ox is not the same as the domesticated ox. A domesticated ox can be trained, yoked, directed, and made to serve the purposes of its owner, but the wild ox lives outside human control. Its strength cannot simply be redirected according to a farmer's wishes. This is exactly the picture God uses in Job 39:9–12 when He asks, "Will the wild ox be willing to serve you? Will he bed by your manger? Can you bind the wild ox in the furrow with ropes? Or will he plow the valleys behind you? Will you trust him because his strength is great? Or will you leave your labor to him? Will you trust him to bring home your grain, and gather it to your threshing floor?" (NKJV). The point is unmistakable: great strength does not mean human control. (Photo via Unsplash)

I believe there is something deeply prophetic in that for 5787. What God is doing in this season cannot be harnessed by man. It cannot be forced into old systems, controlled by human agendas, or made to serve structures that He never established. There are moves of God, people, assignments, and expressions of the Holy Spirit that will not fit into yesterday's yoke. This is not rebellion; it is a freedom that remains fully surrendered to God while refusing illegitimate control from man. The wild ox may not submit to the farmer's rope, but it is still under the authority of its Creator. In the same way, what God is releasing in 5787 will be untamed by man, yet completely yielded to Him.

A National Cleansing

As I prayed into this revelation, the Lord began to open my eyes to something striking: the golden calf was not the wild ox, yet physically it belonged to the same bovine family and carried a similar appearance. Israel had known the power of the God who brought them out of Egypt, later described as being "as strong as a wild ox," but when Moses delayed on the mountain, they manufactured something that looked similar and attached the name of YHWH to it. Aaron even declared, "Tomorrow is a feast to the LORD" (Exodus 32:5 NKJV). They took what only God could reveal and reduced it into an image they could manufacture, possess, and control. But when Moses came down from the mountain, he crushed the counterfeit, burned it, and ground it to powder.

As I saw this, I sensed a picture of national cleansing. I believe God will raise up Moses-like reformers in this season who will confront and crush counterfeit worship, false images, and systems that have taken the place that belongs to God alone. The same pattern appeared generations later when Jeroboam established golden calves to preserve political control, but God eventually raised Josiah, who tore down the altar at Bethel, burned it, and ground it to dust (2 Kings 23:15).

What man builds to replace, imitate, or control what belongs to God will not stand. In 5787, I believe the Lord is exposing counterfeit altars and raising reformers who will tear down what has led His people into idolatry.

Receive the Wild Ox Anointing

The Lord says, "I am meeting you during a very special appointed time. This is the time to receive the wild ox anointing from My Spirit—a time where the heavens are opened to release the strength you need for this next season. The wild ox anointing is a special anointing to cause you to walk in an unmatched level of strength.

"You have endured through so much shaking and trials, through much hardship and pressure, but I kept you secure, totally pegged in Me—unshakable—and your faith became immovable. You experienced My miraculous deliverance, for I delivered you from bondage the same way I delivered My people from the old. They proclaimed Me as their king and I displayed My strength to them as a wild ox. My great strength was unleashed—a type of strength which was unknown to Pharaoh, a level of strength which not only split the sea but drowned Pharaoh and his army. My mighty strength was on display for them, and will be on display for you. (Photo via Unsplash)

"This is the year where you will not only witness My mighty power working for you, but you yourself will move in the same power which raised My Son from the dead and seated Him in the place of honor on My right-hand side.

"Your eyes will open to a new level of understanding of who I am, the God who delivers with the power of a mighty wild ox. Your eyes will open to who you have become in Me, the one who moves in the power of a wild ox.

"This is the year where the weak will say, 'I am strong. I live and move and have my being in the power of a mighty ox.' This is the year of fruitfulness, where water will flow from your bucket and your offspring will have all they need. The year where I will lift up your horn and anoint you with fresh oil, for I am imparting to you the strength of a wild ox.

"I am breaking off limitations from you. Break any human-made harnesses, for I have called you into freedom. This is your year where you will break free from all man-made control into a new level of freedom and reliance on Me. You will run with the strength of the wild ox.

"I am removing every man-made altar, every counterfeit structure, which was erected to separate My people from Me. Watch out, for this will be the year of the wild ox for My people but the year of collapse for the world. I am raising a generation that will devour the plans of the enemy like a wild ox devouring the grass. What devoured your health will dismantle. I am raising a generation that will walk in My love and truth and will not be silent.

"With the strength of the ox, you will push forward, you will keep moving, and you will see My glory, My goodness, My outstretched arm, and My protection. I am breaking off offense and opening the eyes of My people. Those whose eyes are open and see Me in the strength of a wild ox will walk in the very same strength as their Father. They will be like a weapon who will be used mightily by Me.

"Therefore, get ready, My child. You are entering the year of the wild ox. Get ready to receive the wild ox anointing!"
