Encounter with a Butterfly and the Voice of the Lord
As I sat with the Lord in a quiet moment on my balcony, a butterfly startled me and hovered. Immediately, I heard one word: "monarch."
Because I do not know my butterflies, I looked it up and found out it was a monarch. One meaning ascribed to an encounter with a monarch butterfly is that it symbolizes new beginnings and can signify stepping into a new phase of life. The monarch is believed to have received its name because it is large and appears to rule a vast domain, and because the gold rim looks like a royal crown.
You Are Entering a Day of Being Who You Were Created to Be
As I was pondering this, I opened my journal at random to a prophetic word that I had received in the past and had written down, which I believe is for many right now.
It said, "... There is transformation coming. I saw the butterfly being squeezed out of the cocoon, and God said that a day of freedom and a day of being who you were created to be are coming to you. You are going to come into a new level of assertiveness and boldness. The Lord says, 'I am going to raise you to high levels of governmental authority in the Kingdom, an apostolic call that will open doors for many others, taking people into their destinies.'" As I pondered this, I sensed from the Lord that in September He would be preparing His people for change—change in the nations and in our lives.
Wrapped in a Robe of Many Colors to Shine and Take Your Place
He pointed out that the leaves on the trees change color in the fall and become vibrant and said, "I am changing your colors to the vibrancy of the tapestry that I predetermined for you. I am now beautifying My Bride! Those who have served Me in obedience will wear a new robe of many colors, like the one I gave to Joseph.
"Many of you are about to be taken before kings, carrying the divine blueprints I have invested in you over the years. You are My investments for the future and for the world that is crying out to Me. You are My storehouses, within whom I have stored the treasures of Heaven.
"Get washed, get ready! For you shall shine with the radiance of the One resident within you. You have passed through the Valley of Baca and have received great strength to now accomplish exploits that accomplish My will.
"As I said to Jeremiah, 'Do not be afraid of their faces' (Jeremiah 1:8). Do not fear what you think man can do to you. Fear Me, the One who holds you in My hands and prepares your place in eternity. You will be given what to say as you choose to stand as an ambassador of the Kingdom. Confidence shall be your garments, upholding and constraining you in My will.
"I am God! I go before you and am your shield and fortress. You will hit the target—the bullseye—as My sharpshooter, penetrating deep into ancient strongholds with My words in your mouth. The weight of the anointing on your gifting and your prophetic voice will now rise to new levels to accomplish My will for this hour. The sound of your voice will carry prophetic power to pierce the prison walls that are holding My harvest captive. I am about to unlock those prison doors in this hour. (Photo via Pxfuel)
"Get ready for a great harvest in this season. The harvest has begun—the harvesting of what I have sown in the earth, and the harvest of what man has sown in the earth.
"Gird up your loins to run your race. Be prepared to run the gauntlet with a mindset of triumph and victory as one who has trained well. Run to receive the promised prize. Put on your armor and march boldly into the battlefields of the world with fearless courage and fierce resolution.
"I have qualified you! I have prepared you well to do My will and have made you well able to complete your assignment, to ride the wave called "Destiny" with the great skill and determination that I will give you. Fear not, My little flock, My faithful ones; it is the Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom" (see Luke 12:32).
