Micah Level: The Waterfall That Never Stops

Micah Level, Richmond, Indiana

"But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin... If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:7, 9 NKJV)

Vision: A Waterfall of His Blood

The other morning, in a time of prayer, I sat meditating on the cross and the blood of Christ. And I saw it—a torrential waterfall of His blood rushing down over all who had bowed low at His feet. As I partook of communion, the Spirit began to speak.

Beloved, lift your eyes to the cross and see what the Spirit is showing. Hear what the Spirit is saying in this hour: this is a season of exposure. God, who is light, is shining into the hidden rooms, and what has long been walled off in the dark is being brought out into the open. He is confronting what is amiss. He is naming the corruption you learned to live beside. But do not mistake what He is doing. He does not expose to exploit you. He exposes to enclose you. He sent Nehemiah to the broken walls to restore them. He uncovers the gap only to repair it. What He confronts, He confronts to cleanse.

And hear the one way forward through this hour, for there is only one: yield—not to hide, not to defend, not to manage what the light has found, but to bow low in humility and repentance. And let the Blood do what only the Blood can do: cleanse the soul from all corruption. Everything the light uncovers, the Blood stands ready to wash. Come out of the shadows and under the flow.

It Still Flows for You

The Church is gathered at the feet of her crucified Lord, and from His wounds the blood is falling, not as a trickle, not as a memory, but as a cascade—a waterfall pouring down over all who have come to kneel beneath it.

The Father says, "This is still falling for you. It has not receded. It has not run dry. The blood of My Son cleanses right now, in this moment, and in the next." (Photo via Pexels)

Hear the accuser, how he has crowded the courtroom of your mind with charges. He has read your record aloud and dared you to answer. But the One who is faithful and just has already rendered the verdict, and the Blood answers every accusation before it reaches your ear. Where the enemy points, the waterfall falls. You have nothing left to plead, because Another has pleaded, and He has won. His blood speaks a better word than the word of your accusers. You don't have to defend or argue with your accusers. Plead the Blood.

And the sins you have carried, the ones you named, and the ones you could never quite bring yourself to name—all of them, not just the manageable ones—they are cleansed and covered by His blood. Let them go under. Let them be washed away by His precious and mighty blood. Your shame, regret, guilt, and condemnation of your past mistakes, let them be drowned to never be remembered again. Receive your justification, just as if you had never sinned. As you sit at the feet of Christ and confess your sins, He is faithful to forgive your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness.

But hear this, you who were sinned against: the crookedness done to you—the trauma that bent you out of "true," the unrighteousness you did not choose but still wear—that, too, the waterfall carries down. He not only cleanses the dirt you tracked in. He washes away the dirt that was thrown on you—all unrighteousness. All of it goes into the flood, and the flood does not discriminate.

His blood has not coagulated. It has not clotted. It has not scabbed over. It has not dried at the edges of the wound and called the work "finished." Two thousand years, and the flow has not thickened by a single degree. What poured out at Golgotha is pouring still—living, moving, falling fresh over you today. And everywhere the Blood goes, healing flows. It does not pass over a wound and leave it as it found it. Where it touches the accusation, the accusation dissolves. Where it touches the guilt, the guilt is washed downstream. Where it touches the trauma—the deep places sin carved into you—the water reaches even there, and it heals. It cannot help but heal. That is what it is.

And the offense you have nursed, that grievance you were right to feel, the wound that hardened into a grudge, let the water reach that too. Bitterness is a root that grows in dry ground, and there is no dry ground under this waterfall. Where the Blood floods in, the root has nothing left to grip. You do not have to keep guarding the offense to prove it happened; the God who is faithful and just has already seen it, already weighed it, already answered it. Let it go under the water, and feel the hardness soften as the flow gets to the root.

To the Soul That Has Been Fractured: His Blood Is Deeper Still

And to the soul that has been fractured, hear this: the Blood does not merely wash the surface. It reaches the fault lines. It goes down into the places that broke and could not find their way back to each other, and it draws them home. And the pain those fragments were split off to carry, the trauma they were made to bear alone, is washed away as they return. They come home healed, no longer bleeding the old wound. What sin fractures, the Blood reintegrates. What is scattered, the flood gathers. You are not too broken for this water. There is no crack too deep for it to fill, no fragment it cannot bring back into the whole. (Photo via Pexels)

And there are spirits that have tormented you—some that came down your own bloodline, handed from one generation to the next, squatting on ground they were never given. They found the open door the wound left behind, and they made themselves at home. Hear this: you cannot disciple a demon. You cannot counsel it, reason with it, or teach it to behave. It has no interest in being made better. It must be driven out. And the Blood is the authority by which it goes. Where the Blood is applied, the accuser's claim is canceled, and the squatter's lease is torn up. For the ground it stood on was the unhealed place, and the Blood has healed it. It has no legal footing left. So be free. The same flood that washes the wound drives out what fed on it. The bloodline of the first Adam bows to the blood of the Last Adam, and every generational chain is severed at the cross.

And notice where you are standing, not alone in some hidden booth, but shoulder to shoulder with the Body. All of you are underneath the same cascade, in the light. This is fellowship—not hiding from one another but being washed together in the open, where the light of God has made it safe to be seen. You do not have to conceal your stains here. The light is not your exposure to shame; the light is where the Blood does its cleansing.

He Is Making Ready His Bride

Do you see what He is doing, Church? The confession and the repentance, the cleansing of sin and the washing of every stain, the restoring of the fractured soul and the driving out of every tormenting spirit—it is all one work. And it is all the work of His light. He is not merely forgiving you; He is preparing you. He is cleansing and purifying His Bride, making her ready for her Groom. For He is coming, coming for a Bride pure in single devotion to Him and spotless—unstained by sin, unmarked by soul trauma, and unoccupied by any tormenting spirit. Not a Bride who has patched over her wounds and hidden her stains, but a Bride who is truly clean and radiant in the open light, with nothing left to conceal. This is why the waterfall falls. This is why the light exposes. He is washing a Bride worthy of the wedding, and He will not stop until she is spotless.

So come out from under the shadows, Church. Yield to the light where He is, and yield to the Blood that flows in it. Bow low and let it wash you clean of all corruption. Let it heal what has been fractured and drive out what has tormented. And let the waterfall of His blood fall, because it is still falling. It will not stop, and it will not cease until His Bride is ready and without spot.
