In Search of the Greater
In this journey of life, the temptation is strong to settle for the easy little things when the deep desire to see and experience the bountiful things burns deep within each of us! We have all seen this before. When the path ahead starts to get uncomfortable and difficult, the choice to take the path of least resistance calls deeply, yet the reward for such decisions is often frugal. Truly, we were created for the greater things!
It is here, in the great unknown, where our faith will stretch and grow. This is where we will lean in to the still small voice. This is where the great rewards are discovered and our discernment is sharpened. Let faith arise and boldness abound as we take our next steps into the great unknown!
Rise Above!
I hear the Lord saying today, "I have come to give you life and life more abundantly! Even in the midst of challenging circumstances, you can choose to receive this abundant life. My child, rise above that which would seek to steal your joy! My joy and peace are gifts that I freely extend to you. Make a conscious effort to actively and daily choose the abundant life!"
"Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on Heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!" (Deuteronomy 30:19 NLT)
Power to Overcome
The Lord says, "At times, it will feel contrary to speak life and choose joy when circumstances are contrary and your emotions are enraged. This is where disciplining your flesh is most critical! Do not succumb to the flesh, but rather let the flesh burn off so that you will rise above the circumstances. I have given you the power to overcome," says the Lord! Trust Me in All Things
"Trust My timing in all things," says the Lord, "and resist the urge to strive or to make things happen on your own. Trust that My ways are higher than your ways. Stay in step with Me!"

I am your Good Shepherd who remains faithful to always lead and guide you all of your days! I have freely given you abundant life! Choose to walk in it this day, for you will taste and see that I am truly good" says the Lord of hosts!
