What the Bible Says about Open Heavens, or Portals
A number of people have inquired about where portals are found in the Bible. The very first account is Genesis 7:11, when it says that the "windows of Heaven were opened" to send rain upon the earth for forty days and forty nights.
"In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of Heaven were opened." (Genesis 7:11 NKJV)
The next account of an open Heaven (or a portal) is in Genesis 28:12–13, when Jacob had a powerful dream and "saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to Heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. There above it stood the Lord..." (NIV).
In Deuteronomy 28:12, Scripture declares, "The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of His bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none" (NIV). Heaven is God's storehouse, and His plan is that nothing hinders Him from pouring His blessings out upon His children.
In Ezekiel 1:1, Scripture says, "In my thirtieth year, in the fourth month on the fifth day, while I was among the exiles by the Kebar River, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God" (NIV). Ezekiel goes on throughout the entire chapter to describe the marvelous vision he had. The heavens were opened, and nothing got in the way of Ezekiel encountering the Lord. At the very end, he said that what he saw was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. Seeing this caused him to fall facedown on the ground as he listened to God calling him to be His spokesman.
Open heavens, windows of Heaven, stairways to Heaven, and open portals are all points of access to the heavenly realm or to Heaven itself. Encounters with God frequently happen through these access points or open portals.
Where Evil Rules, There Are No Open Heavenly Portals
In Daniel 10:5–14, Scripture describes a marvelous angel that comes to deliver a message to Daniel. He explains that for twenty-one days—while Daniel was praying and fasting for the understanding of a revelation he received—he was resisted by the prince of Persia. After fighting with the prince of Persia for twenty-one days, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help him. This is a picture of a region where the enemy was ruling, and there was no open Heaven, no open portal, no open doorway; but instead, the heavens were closed, because evil was ruling there.
As a seer, I have frequently seen these areas, where the heavens have been closed because people have been aligning themselves with satan and his wicked spirits. He receives authority to close the heavens over those regions and builds impenetrable fortresses in the second heaven. The ones I have seen look like thick cement domes, or even metal domes, covering regions.
In Malachi 3:10, God challenges His people to test Him and promises to open the windows of Heaven to pour out abundant blessings, if they bring the full tithe to the storehouse. Once again, God speaks about the windows of Heaven. An open Heaven is like an open window from Heaven that allows what is good and huge blessings to pour forth from Heaven to the earth, or in the case of the great flood, a huge cleansing rain to cleanse the earth of all wickedness.
Access Points to Heaven
We read the account in Scripture of Jesus being baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist in Matthew 3:16–17 and also in Luke 3:21–22.
"As soon as Jesus was baptized, He went up out of the water. At that moment Heaven was opened, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on Him. And a voice from Heaven said, 'This is My Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased.'" (Matthew 3:16–17 NIV)
"When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as He was praying, Heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on Him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from Heaven: 'You are My Son, whom I love; with You I am well pleased.'" (Luke 3:21–22 NIV)
Once again, Scripture shows us that access was gained to the earth through an open Heaven. The Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus at His baptism through an open Heaven. God does allow portals, or windows or openings, so He can access the earth to shower us with His blessings. (Photo via Unsplash)
Look at John 1:51. While Jesus was trying to convince His disciples that He was the Son of God, He said, "Very truly I tell you, you will see 'Heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on' the Son of Man" (NIV). Jesus Himself said that there was such a thing as openings to and from Heaven.
Acts 7:55–56 also speaks of Heaven being opened as Stephen, a holy man who served God faithfully, was being stoned to death: "But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to Heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. 'Look,' he said, 'I see Heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God'" (NIV).
In Acts 10:9–13, we read the account of Peter, who was hungry and went up on the roof to pray: "About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. He saw Heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds. Then a voice told him, 'Get up, Peter. Kill and eat'" (NIV). Through this encounter, Peter was taught about freedom from the law. We are also able to see through this account that, once again, the heavens were opened, and something from Heaven was brought to the earth through that opening.
John, the beloved disciple of Jesus, had a wonderful visitation in which he was taken to Heaven and saw the throne of God. He was taken through an open door. Revelation 4:1–2 says, "After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in Heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, 'Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.' At once I was in the spirit, and there before me was a throne in Heaven with someone sitting on it" (NIV).
Again, John had a remarkable visitation where he was brought to Heaven and saw Jesus. Revelation 19:11–14 says, "I saw Heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice He judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on His head are many crowns. He has a name written on Him that no one knows but He Himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is the Word of God. The armies of Heaven were following Him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean" (NIV).
From all of these accounts in Scripture, it is clear that there are access points to Heaven.
The Origin of an Open Heaven
When Adam and Eve were first created, Scripture tells us that in the cool of the evening, they walked throughout the garden with God and visited with Him. The heavens were opened, and God had a wonderful, delightful friendship with His children. Before Adam and Eve sinned, there was no dome created by satan and his henchman that kept the world and God separated. God created the world, and it was and still is His.
Once Adam and Eve sinned against God, then the great separation came about. The keys to the world were given to satan by this act of rebellion. The more mankind sinned, the more the enemy was given authority to close the heavens. This is the hour when Father God is taking the world back, removing the wicked dome, and giving us access to Heaven.
More Portals Were Opened in Florida!
On Friday, July 31, 2026, about forty-one of us assembled at a park outdoors in Tallahassee, Florida (the capital of Florida), to open a portal over Leon County and any other counties that people from Florida represented.
All the people from Leon County and ten other counties gathered. One by one, they repented and renounced the sins of their counties, all the way back from the founding of our nation. Once the sins were all repented of and renounced, I put the sins, and the curses from the sins, under the blood of Jesus. I went before the court of Heaven, asking Father God to release His angels to open portals over all the counties, and to send His glory and bring revival.
We all took communion on behalf of the people of these eleven counties, and then we worshiped. While we worshiped, the Holy Spirit brought me into the spirit and showed me, step by step, the portals being opened. At first, I saw an enormous angel driving a chariot; he was one of many. Behind these angels driving chariots was a huge assembly of very large angels. These were the same angels I have seen in the past that the Lord sends when His blood is being venerated. During the time of repentance, we continued to plead the blood of Jesus over our counties and put all the sins we were confessing under the blood of Jesus. We also sang the song "There Is Power in the Blood."
As I continued watching while everyone was worshiping, I saw that the angels were dressed in military uniforms. I noticed their boots had long sharp spikes underneath them. They assembled together, almost arm in arm, and marched on the top of the thick cement dome that the enemy had erected over these counties. I knew this dome had been there for many, many years. Father told me that it was very thick because the evil that had been perpetrated in the government had been especially dark and ominous.
As the worship continued, this mighty army of enormous angels began stomping their feet in unison. The unity amongst this army was especially significant. Soon after, I noticed that they were all shuffling, marching, and stomping their feet in unison with one another across all the eleven counties. A very strong vibration began running through the entire cement dome.
This vibration intensified, and I saw the cells within the cement structure shake until they all disappeared. The entire cement dome, which covered all eleven counties, disappeared under this vibration. The angels that were marching on top of the dome now descended down into the counties.
A Great Harvest of Souls and Unity of Love Are Coming
Then I saw Jesus, dressed as a shepherd, descend from Heaven and stand upon the region over these eleven counties. He was enormous. Then I saw the angels standing beside people in the eleven counties, with their arms around their shoulders, pointing them to Jesus, their Shepherd, and encouraging them to know Jesus!
There is going to be a great harvest of souls in these communities. God is sending His angels to work alongside His people to bring in this great harvest of souls.
Jesus was sitting on His throne, and massive numbers of people were all lying at His feet. He took time for each and every single person. He embraced each one, every sheep. Many came and sat on His lap, and He hugged them. They all got to know Him.
Father showed me that the reason why Jesus was so enormous in this vision that I was seeing was because no one was going to miss Him. The vast number of majestic angels were reaching out to the people in the counties. I saw angels with their arms around the shoulders of many people, and the angels were pointing up to the heavens—pointing for the people to look to Jesus. I knew that a great move of God was coming to these counties, and that many multitudes were going to be saved.
A great harvest of souls is coming to these counties. I saw people lying on their faces before the throne upon which Jesus sat. Some of these people were people in positions of authority. They took their crowns off their heads and laid them at the feet of Jesus. I knew that there would be a shift in the government over these counties, and that godly leaders were going to be put in positions of authority. Many of the leaders would be saved who were already in positions of authority.
I was also shown that the unity that was in this great army of angels—which had assembled to take down the thick cement dome—reflected the unity of the people who had gathered to worship and to pray for these counties. This unity that was on the army of angels was being imparted to these eleven counties. The counties were going to see a significant increase in unity throughout them.
Unity would be poured out on families, businesses, schools, churches, and many institutions. It would not be a unity birthed in the compromising of godly values, but a unity birthed in the love of Jesus.
Once the portal opened, the Holy Spirit released me to pray over each person and release the glory upon them. Each one was touched deeply and filled with His glory. God blessed each one and released them to be glory carriers. They were now able to release His glory to their families, friends, and communities. (Photo via Unsplash)
Great Days Are Coming for God's Faithful Children!
On July 19, 2026, while sitting alone in prayer, Father declared, "Over and above what you could ever think or imagine We will be doing for Our children and for those who are far from Us. Once My people experience Our goodness and feel Our great love for them, they will become Ours—truly!
"This will be a big part of the grand rescue event: Our people will run into the arms of their Father and become Our children forever! Multitudes will be saved very suddenly and very quickly. It will bring My faithful children great joy to see so many turn from wickedness and run into Our arms."
A few days later, on July 21, 2026, Father God continued to encourage me with these words: "Better and better will the lives of Our children be. Showers of blessings will cover them and cause their hearts to soar, their feet to dance, and their mouths to sing 'hallelujah'! This is truly the hour that We will be wiping the tears from Our children's eyes and turning frowns into smiles!
"We will put the enemies of Our people to flight, and they will return sevenfold all that they stole from them and theirs. Restitution and restoration are coming with lightning speed! A time of great blessing and great rejoicing is just around the corner for those who follow My Son. The opposite is true for those who follow the evil one. Theirs will be a sun-scorched land.
"Many will gather in the valley of decision. They will decide to follow My Son when they see how blessed those who are His have become. A holy jealousy will inspire them to leave the path that they were on and get on the road to eternal life that My Son cleared and paved for them."
You Will Reap What You Have Sown
On July 23, 2026, Father God again spoke a very encouraging word to His faithful children: "Be at peace knowing We have only great good planned for you. Don't let anything trouble you—ever! Our will is for you to reap what you have sown. You sowed enjoyment to Our heart; now reap enjoyment! You have brought Us great joy by your lives lived in loving obedience to Us. Your faith delights Us. And now We say, 'Reap what you have sown! Reap enjoyment!'"
On July 26, 2026, I heard Father say, "Things will get much better, because I am sweeping out your homes, as well as My home and your world. Those things that the enemy brought into your lives are being swept away. Fear, worry, anxiety, resentment, offense, bitterness, jealousy, envy—even hatred—are being exposed, repented of, renounced, and swept away to trouble you no more.
"Focus on what is good, pure, and lovely about one another. That is what I do. I look deep inside the hearts of My children and find what is good. Then I think about that goodness. I am the God who even blocks out of My memory those things that My children have done and repented of. I do throw them into the Sea of Forgetfulness; you do the same, and you will become more like Us.
"To give My children a fresh start, like a new creation, is My way that affords them the opportunities they need to fulfill their callings. Not dragging the past about them, like a heavy ball and chain, frees them to be led by My Spirit with joy and freedom and light hearts.
"Find what is good, lovely, and pure in those who you are dealing with (Philippians 4:8). Think and speak about those qualities. Like the center pole in a tent, the higher and bigger it becomes, the larger the tent will become. This is why I speak good over My children, then their lives will be enlarged, and they will reach the height that I have planned for each one of them. You do the same, and you will see those you target with this love grow and become who they were created to be."
"Like Daniel and the three Hebrew men, don't eat the food of negativity that the enemy, who accuses My children day and night, tries to feed you. Eat the vegetables and water that I present to you, and you will flourish, grow, and fulfill your call to influence your culture and change lives" (Daniel 1).
