It's Time to Make a Decision to Take Action
If you've been battling fear, hesitation, or second-guessing lately, read this before you make your next decision.
There is a place in our lives where the promise stops being a prophecy and must become a decision to take action.
On July 29, 2026, as I was praying for revelation concerning several warning dreams from the Lord, and what I should do about them, I went into a vision that I believe is for the Body of Christ.
I looked in the spirit and saw many of God's people standing at the edge of their Promised Land. They were wrestling between the desire to cross over and hesitation to step into the unknown. They were wrestling with the desire to be obedient, yet feeling unqualified for what lay ahead. This place should have been a place of celebration, where they skipped over the border with great joy, but it had now become a valley of decision. In fact, many did not perceive that they were standing at the very threshold of the destiny they had been praying for—like the children of Israel at the Jordan crossing—not just for themselves, but for future generations.
I then watched as a large swarm of flies, like a black cloud, swooped down upon them, swirling and buzzing around their heads as they released a frequency of witchcraft that began to overwhelm the people with fear—fear of failure, fear of lack, fear of making a mistake, and fear of perceived rejection from the leaders who were assigned by God to assist them in navigating the new territory they were being called to. The swirl began to cloud their judgment and make them question if their desire to advance was from the Lord or from their flesh.
Flies are not an accidental force in the spirit. The enemy the Pharisees named when they accused Jesus of casting out demons was Beelzebub, the Lord of the Flies (Matthew 12:24). This is the enemy's strategy: It's not a frontal assault but an atmospheric swarm of demonic chatter. It's small enough to dismiss, but loud and consistent enough to drown out the voice of the Holy Spirit, momentarily, in a vulnerable season.
This "valley of decision" is the same border where ten of Israel's men returned with a good report of the land and a bad report of themselves. "We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them" (Numbers 13:33 NIV). The land of promise was not the problem. The size of the giants was not the problem. I feel the fear of the Lord for those who find themselves in this place... the resistance is not evidence that you should retreat; it is confirmation that you must move forward in faith!
There Is a New Anointing Reserved for the New Assignment
The Spirit of the Lord would say to you, "Do not be afraid! Only be bold and very courageous, for I will be with you every step of the way! Behold, have I not said that I know the plans I have for you, and they are to prosper you and bring you success? Get your eyes off of your weaknesses and get them onto My strength, for I will uphold you with My righteous right hand as you go! And you will see My wonders work in and through you as you trust Me in the unknown.
"You will see miraculous multiplication and provision for your mission. You will reap where you did not sow, and the enemy will be your prey. For I say to you, mighty warrior, the giants will be as bread to you. But you must leap into the new land I have prepared for you. I desire to anoint you with the oil of BREAKTHROUGH and LIBERTY. There is a new anointing reserved for your new assignment. This anointing is for those who will say yes to seeking wisdom and acquire a new level of strategy to conquer a new generation of demonic weaponry. So again I say, do not be afraid! But arise, you giant of great faith, for the Lord your God is a Mighty Man of War, who goes with you into the more you were made for!"
There is a new anointing reserved for many who are being called into a new assignment. In my journey with the Lord, I have come to discover, just like the children of Israel did, that the water doesn't part until we put our foot out in faith. Similarly, the oil is not released for where you have been; it is released for where you are going. You are not waiting on the anointing to give you courage to move. God is waiting on you to move to release the fresh anointing. New weapons require new wisdom. New territory requires new strategies. And the Lord is not withholding any of it. He has set it on the other side of your yes.
What Will It Cost You and Everyone Assigned to You If You Say No?
I want to end with this very sobering thought. In the ancient world, the giants were known for cannibalism. This practice was the key reason they struck terror in the hearts of the small-statured Israelites. But when Caleb and Joshua stood at this same riverbank crossing point, in front of a terrified nation, they looked at the same giants the other ten spies had seen and called them lunch. "They are only helpless prey to us! They have no protection, but the Lord is with us! Don't be afraid of them!" (Numbers 14:9 NLT).
Caleb and Joshua recognized that their victory wasn't based on whether they were enough to take out their opponent. It was dependent on them acting on their trust in God's promise and His desire to give them success. This meant the giants were doomed while the Israelites were living under supernatural protection, power, and provision to possess the promise.
Despite all this, the majority vote of the ten fearful men cost thousands of people from ever tasting and seeing the promises of God come to pass in their lifetime. It also delayed the promise for the two men and their families, who were faithful for another forty years. The question we must ask ourselves when we find ourselves at the threshold of transition is not "What will it cost me to say yes?" But "What will it cost me and everyone assigned to me if I say no?" How to Make War with This Word
Friend, wherever you are right now, the Lord wants you to know this: He is invested in your success more than you can begin to comprehend. And if He is for you, then what can stand against you?
If this is witnessing with your spirit, don't stop here. Take this word, and let's make war with it!
Partner with me and pray this out loud:
Father, we come against the adversary that would seek to destroy our destiny, now, in the name of Jesus. We command the Lord of the Flies, who calls himself Beelzebub, to come under the judgment of Heaven, now. May he be bound and gagged by the blood of the Lamb. We decree every assignment of the enemy used to incite fear and rejection, and to cause failure to covenant alignments, to cease and desist, now.
Lord, let the revelation of Your power and love increase in my life now. Fill me with boldness, that I may trust where You are guiding me. Even if it makes no logical sense, even if it seems impossible for man, even if there is resistance, help my faith, God. I give You permission, Holy Spirit, to drive me beyond the comforts of my flesh into my Promised Land. Consecrate my heart, Lord. Purify my hands. Give me eyes to see all the possibilities rather than the problems in the place You're calling me. In Jesus' mighty name, amen.
