Word of the Lord originally released on June 30, 2026:
This is a word that I feel a breaker anointing on—a word that is sure to rattle the cages of everything that has been warring against your hope and faith in this season, and the things that are, right now, holding your future ransom. It's going to bring clarity to this moment.
The Path Forward: Look for the New Wine
For the past few weeks, I have been hearing the Lord say to me personally, "Look for the new wine. Look for the new wine!"
I feel like what God is giving us is an instruction for this season, and it's something that is bursting out of me right now. If you are wanting to know how to partner with God in this season of your life, how to jailbreak from situations you have been walking through, and are wanting to finally let go of the old, this is the key right here: Look for the new wine. That is your path forward.
When There Is No Wine Left
Many people have been in a season like at the wedding of Cana, where the old wine ran out. You have been staring down at empty vats in a place of complete emptiness and brokenness, saying, "Where do I go from here? I have no solution. There is no wine left."
I believe that God allows us to get to that place, where there is no wine left in the season in order to then do the miracle. He turns what looks like a "nothing season" into a "new wine season."
John 2:6–11 (NKJV): "Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece. Jesus said to them, 'Fill the waterpots with water.' And they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, 'Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.' And they took it. When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom. And he said to him, 'Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!'
"This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him."
Many people have been diagnosing their season, saying, "I am in a season where everything is empty and falling apart. It is my fault. I am not qualified for this. God has not called me. He has not anointed me. God, You did not come through. Your promises did not come to pass."
Yes, it is an empty-vat moment. But then, just like in the story, God will break out and pour in the new wine. And that is what He is doing in you right now. You may not see it, you may not recognize it, but the new wine is already beginning to gush forth.
New Wine for the Level-Up Season
The instruction of the Lord is so simple. The prophetic word over your life right now is to look for the new wine. Look for the new wine in your relationships. Look for the new wine in your opportunities. Look for the new wine in your relationship with God—hearing Him differently, dreaming with God differently.
Look for the new-wine "level up" in your anointing. Look for the new wine in your activities, projects—things that God has put on your heart. Look for the new wine in your purpose. Look for the new wine in your voice. And, yes, there's a new-wine type of person that God is connecting you to. It is a different way of doing things. (Photo via Pexels)
God is saying loudly in this moment, "You need to look at things differently. You are still looking for that old wine. But the old wine is done, and I am trying to lead you to what is new. I have been trying to level you up and bring you into a whole new place of seeing things!
"This is what your last season did: your last season put a cap on you, put a ceiling on you. That old wine and old wineskin has made some areas of your heart and your mindset tough. You are not seeing through the right lens.
"And so, it is My new wine gushing forth over your life that actually begins to open up what has been closed."
It brings you into a wider capacity, space, and anointing, and it begins to open up doors that God has been preparing for you to step into.
New Season, New Methods
This is also what I hear the Lord saying: "This is going to be a season where the new wine will lead you to do new methods. The new wine will cause you to do some things by faith and obedience that will look foolish to the world."
The new wine will cause you to leave rooms and places you were once in, or situations where you were tolerating the enemy. It will shift your feet and cause you to shut doors you opened.
It Is Already There—Step Into It
As I was preparing this word, I kept seeing this picture of a fishing boat, and I heard, "It is time to throw the net on the other side. It is time to throw the net on the other side."
I feel like this is a very specific and direct word for those who are feeling stuck and asking God, "Where do I go? What do I do?"
Only you will know what this means for you, but the Lord is saying, "In addition to looking for the new wine this week, begin to cast out on the other side. Begin to look at things in a different lens than you have in the past. Begin to step out in faith in other ways and look through other methods."
If you are needing clarity in your life, say, "God, what am I not seeing? What have I not been looking at? What have I been missing in this season? What am I not seeing clearly?"
God is teaching us in this season to step into the new wine in our lives that is already there; but because we are not used to it, we are not operating in it. It is like Elisha. He got a double-portion mantle, but imagine if he did not use it.
I believe that many of you have been anointed for something fresh and something new, but you are not using it, and you are frustrated, discouraged, and irritated, saying, "God, why are You not moving?" I believe it is already there. You just have to step into it. (Photo via Pexels)
Key Components for Breakthrough
The key is these three components:
1. Ask God. "What is the new wine? What am I meant to be stepping into? Now teach me to step into it. Teach me to see what I have been blinded to."
2. Surrender to the personal new-wine process. Look for the "new-wine you." Right now, there is a "new-wine you" coming forth out of the old. That is the wrestle we all feel, that tension between who you were in the old-wine season and who you are becoming in the new. You can feel the old trying to hold you, but the new is already gushing forth.
3. Cast your net on the other side. Ask God for wisdom and revelation and then step out by faith.
Put on the Truth of the New Wine Skin
Lastly, let me just prophesy this over you. This is going to break off all the demonic lies of the past season:
You are the new wine! You are not the broken down "has been," or "once was fulfilled in your calling," "once was on-fire-for-God pioneer," "once was radical remnant Jesus follower." You are not the disqualified. You are not the hopeless cause, the failure. You are not the sum of the Ishmaels that you have created or seen in the past season. You are not the hurt and the woundedness that you had to walk through in the "Saul" seasons.
You are the new wine that God is calling forth. You are the prophetic sign of a generation at the wedding feast, when God brings out the new wine for last. You have seen and been through the old wine seasons that have discouraged you, and may have even turned you off from doing Kingdom. But in this season, as you look to Jesus, He is going to perform the miracle in your life that will suddenly bring forth new wine! Where that river has been stopped up inside of you, where you have felt empty, something is now going to gush forth, and new rivers of living water will come out of you, and new wine will gush forth from your life!
That means a new message and a new voice. That means God is overhauling your calling. God is overhauling your marriage. God is overhauling your family. God is overhauling every area of your life that has been dry and broken down and not working the way it once did. God is going to overhaul you, revive you, and resurrect you.
You Are Shifting from Impossibilities to Possibilities
So this week, pray, "Lord, bring forth a new wine out of me, and let it break through the hope deferred. Let it break through the discouragement. Let it break through the despair. Bring forth the new wine out of me, in the mighty name of Jesus!"
I believe this is going to begin to shift impossibilities and bad reports. It is going to begin to shift the way you are seeing things. God is putting a fresh wind on you, and He is putting a new wine inside you that is going to begin to shift and change the course and turn the tide that has been against your life. The warfare is going to break, the impossibilities that have been against you on every single side are going to break, in the mighty name of Jesus.
"Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved." (Matthew 9:17 NKJV)
