Overcomers, Arise!
"I am writing to you, fathers [those Believers who are spiritually mature], because you know Him Who has existed from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men [those Believers who are growing in spiritual maturity], because you have been victorious and have OVERCOME the evil one. I have written to you, children [those who are new Believers, those spiritually immature], because you have come to know the Father." (1 John 2:13 AMP, emphasis mine)
"And they have overcome (conquered) him [the enemy] by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony." (Revelation 12:11 AMPC, brackets mine)
The overcomers aren't just any sons and daughters of God, but these are the people who have weathered the storms of this life, survived the onslaughts of the enemy, passed through the fires and the waters, and are still standing, regardless of their natural circumstances! This is a group of Believers who are absolutely sold out. They are those who have been tried in the fire and come forth like gold. They have been handpicked by the Lord to wax strong and do His exploits, because nothing the world or the enemy has thrown at them has been able to stop them!
"And such as violate the covenant he shall pervert and seduce with flatteries, but the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall stand firm and do exploits [for God]." (Daniel 11:32 AMPC)
Uncompromised
These are the uncompromising ones, the ones who have come to know the Father who has existed from the beginning. They will not be swayed by the love of money or by the flattery of man's lips, but they'll be moved by the Holy Spirit. They have overcome the enemy and His tactics and are being filled with the power flowing out of the resurrection. (Photo via Unsplash)
"For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was aware and loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren." (Romans 8:29 AMPC)
Receivers of Resurrection Power
This army in the valley of dry bones is beginning to emerge (Ezekiel 37), for they were dead (to themselves) at one point, but they've been brought back to life through prophetic utterance, filled with His life, His Spirit, and His resurrection power as an exceedingly great host! They are those who have died to themselves to be reborn and filled with His Spirit, those burning with the presence of God.
Operating in the Power of the Kingdom
They are the ones who are now coming upon the scene. They may not be names you recognize from the pulpits, or from TV ministries, but they will be glowing with the Holy Spirit and operating in the power of His Kingdom! They are arising from places of obscurity, as if from out of nowhere, and they will come upon this generation. Signs, wonders, and miracles will follow them, and many will be restored as they march through the earth.
The tide is turning; the enemy is quaking with fear, for he knows his time is short.
Will you be one of these overcomers? Is the Lord calling you as one totally sold out for Him? Are the Holy Spirit and the Word becoming like a fire shut up inside your bones?
I want to be one! I want to be filled with His power, moving in His grace, totally sold out to Him! I want to be the vessel of honor that will be used for honorable purposes by the hands of the Potter!
Prayer: Fill us up to overflowing, Lord, that we might be Your witnesses in this generation! Create in us a clean heart, Holy Spirit, and renew a right spirit within us as Your people. Whatever it takes, Lord, make it happen!
