The other night I was visited by the Holy Spirit with a dream. This dream was not meant for only me; it was a dream that represented the unfolding of a new season for Believers.
In the dream I saw the Lord walking toward me. In both of His hands He held an open book. As He approached me, I felt as if He was not only presenting the book but also its contents as a means to bless and encourage me. I never saw His face, only His hands holding the book.
As He continued to approach, I knew that it was purposeful for me to look and see all that was inside of the opened book. Before I could even touch the book to read it, all types of wrapped gifts began flowing out of it. Along with the gifts was some money, and attached to both gifts and money was the word "blessings." I was amazed at the continuous flow of God's blessings being poured out.
When I awoke, the presence of the Lord was heavy upon me. I was overwhelmed with the love of God and His goodness. I kept reviewing the dream, the open book, the gifts, the money, and the blessings. I was very aware that God had opened His Word, the Bible, and was confirming to me that He was watching over His words to His children, and that this was a new season of seeing our blessings come forth.
An Outpouring of Spiritual Gifts: Bringing Heaven to Earth
I believe the dream is fairly clear as to God's purpose to bless His children. Apostle Paul pointed out in 1 Corinthians 12:1 that God desires that we not be ignorant of spiritual gifts. Let's take a moment and read about these gifts that he listed:
"But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; to another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: but all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as He will." (1 Corinthians 12:7–11 KJV)
It is clear to me that there is about to be such an outpouring of the gifts of the Spirit, and that we are entering a season of accessing what is in Heaven and demonstrating it on the earth. Allow me to explain.
As Kingdom Believers, we have prayed as Jesus instructed: "Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in Heaven." (Matthew 6:10 KJV; see also Luke 11:2). This means we are praying for all that is in Heaven to come to earth, right? I believe it is safe to conclude that there is no sickness, poverty, or lack in Heaven... therefore it doesn't belong on earth. I believe this dream confirms that it is God's desire to bless us and for us to witness and see His promises manifest. Just as Jeremiah was given the ability to see his new season, we are present-day Jeremiahs, having our eyes opened to understand and know that all which God has formed for us (our future and destiny) has been preserved. To me, this means I can stand assured that no enemy will be able to steal my future unless I let him! The devil cannot take away what God has promised you unless you allow him entrance.
Encountering the Gift of Revelation
I believe it is clear that God is opening His Word and revealing to us His perfect will. What is His perfect will? It's easy to know, because it is all written in His Word. Yet, there are times when we are being positioned for the revelation contained within His word to us. Revelation is one of the gifts of the Spirit. It is the hidden knowledge of God being made known. We are entering a season where many mysteries are being revealed.
Precious Believer, listen up. God has not withheld revelation from you; He has withheld revelation for you. Revelation occurs as God's wisdom and knowledge is released. It's as if He lifts a veil that has covered our eyes, making it so we are able to see.
I'm sure you will agree with me that we all desire to see and know and understand God's purposes and have them clearly defined in our lives. And please know this: it is just as important to God! It is His desire that we move closer, reposition ourselves to draw near in an intimate relationship, and He will speak to us concerning mysteries. It is time to "set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God" (Colossians 3:2–3 NASB1995).
I believe it is your season to be like Jeremiah and allow God to touch your mouth so that you are empowered to see and confess all that Heaven says about your life, your circumstances, and your future!
If you recall, Jeremiah could not see his future until God touched his mouth (see Jeremiah 1:9). The word "touched" in this verse is the Hebrew word "naga" (Strong's H5060). It implies that God struck the unbelief that had held Jeremiah's faith captive. The word also implies a "violent act." Think about this a moment. God did a violent act against Jeremiah's unbelief. Wow! Can you grasp the revelation contained in this? All we have to do is draw near. Christ established your victory at the cross. Yes, the finished work at the cross promises you a new season. Jeremiah was able to "see" an almond branch budding. The almond branch is the first branch to bloom in a new season. Dear ones, see your new season!
Protecting the Vision and Revelation
An important note: The spirit of Jezebel blocks and steals vision and revelation. I have written numerous books concerning the thief and how he desires to kill, steal and destroy. One of the main contenders for our royal inheritance in Christ Jesus is the Jezebel spirit. If you recall, she sent an evil messenger to Elijah after the encounter at Mt. Carmel and threatened to kill him. In the King James Version, Elijah's response to the evil message was this:
"And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there. But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O Lord, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers." (1 Kings 19:3–4)
Notice that Elijah "saw that." What did he see? I believe he saw a vision of Jezebel killing him! Yet, it was only an evil message. Jezebel was not there physically; she just sent an evil messenger with an evil message. This caused Elijah to fear and run a wilderness marathon!
Believer, let me be blunt: a Jezebel spirit will rob you of your destiny, if allowed. This spirit desires to steal vision and revelation concerning God's goodness and desire to give us Heaven's best. We are safe as long as we remain under His protective wings (see Psalm 91).
God Is Pouring Out Heaven's Best
God is pouring out Heaven's best. It's time for us to access the unseen—blessings, gifts of the spirit, breakthroughs, and all of our promises. He has opened His Word to us and is releasing His Word. And just as He promised Jeremiah, He is watching over His Word to fulfill it (see Jeremiah 1:12). Aren't you excited to know He is watching over every promise He has made to you?
I believe that God is touching every area of doubt and unbelief that you are struggling with right now as you read. This is your season for revelation. God is warring against your enemy, especially Jezebel, who attempts to block vision. He is touching your vision and life, and positioning you in a new season for breakthrough! Amen! Just as He told Jeremiah that He was watching over His words to him to ensure everything was accomplished, He is doing the same for you. God's promises for you are yes and amen. Shift into great faith today. Trust Him today. Though the vision may tarry, He promises to accomplish what He has promised!
My Prayer for You:
Father, I pray for each person who reads this article. I pray that You would empower each of them to shift into their divine destiny. I pray for their eyes to be opened to truth, for them to see their future and know without a doubt that You will fulfill Your promises. Thank You for defeating the thief who attempts to steal, kill, and destroy. Thank You for life and victory at every turn. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen!
