Don't Lay Down Your Arrows!
The moment we stop seeing our children as a hindrance to fulfilling the call of God on our lives and start experiencing Jesus THROUGH them, everything shifts.
We don't build altars out of our families or our ministries. It's time we lay down the old paradigm of either-or. Sadly, in the pursuit of ministry, many have laid down their arrows—the very weapons and promises God has placed in their hands.
Family IS Ministry
Our families are a ministry of sacrifice, not convenience. The culture of the old wineskin is shifting. FAMILY is being restored, and it is no longer something to be looked at as a hindrance but something to be honored and celebrated.
Will it be easy? Is it's what's most convenient? No, but the reward is unmeasurable and the alternative is unthinkable. How can we believe for a Joel 2:28 outpouring without including our sons and daughters?
"And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions." (Joel 2:28 NKJV)
Women, You Have Grace for This Season!
Women, there is a grace for this season. You are more than just a Proverbs 31 woman. You are a Genesis to Revelation woman. Strategy and identity are being released like never before. There is a time and a season for everything under the sun.
Do not think for one second you are any less powerful, anointed, or called because you are a mother who guards her place as nurturer and keeper of the home. It has ALL been seen, the times you wanted nothing more than to pray at the altar, to go on the ministry trip, or just to worship. Others may have looked down upon you, they may have said you were capable of more, BUT God has been building you! (Photo via Pexels)
A New Breed of Mothers Rising
There is a new breed of mothers rising with the grace to nurture and plow, to grow and to go. Because they have not given the work and sacrifice assigned to them to another, God is sending helpers. Their hearts will be at peace and connect, whether at home or in the field, because they know it is ALL an assignment.
Carrying Arrows and Fulfilling Assignments!
Watch out for the families; they will be a force to be reckoned with. They have counted the cost of the balancing act of carrying their arrows, while simultaneously fulfilling their assignments. It hasn't been easy, but they have made a decision to go this new way. There will be communities that rise up to celebrate this new breed. They will join together and do life and ministry together.
A Tidal Wave of Restoration Coming to Families and Communities
I see a tidal wave of restoration coming to community and families. Where loneliness and rejection once lived, connection and identity are being restored. This is a time of returning to the simple yet profound. The people of God will once again break bread, carry their arrows, and harvest the fields. Nothing lost, nothing broken; God is restoring the WHOLE picture, and it is beautiful.
