LOUISIANA
GOVERNOR CALLS FOR DAY OF PRAYER
August 31, 2005
I'm sure that everyone knows that the governor of Louisiana has requested
Wednesday to be a day of prayer for the region. "I have declared August 31,
2005, a Day of Prayer in the State of Louisiana. I am asking that all of
Louisiana take some time Wednesday to pray. Pray for the victims and the
rescuers. Please pray that God give us all the physical and spiritual strength
to work through this crisis and rebuild."
This is an alert for the Body of Christ to pray based on Governor Blanco's
request with these specific points. Also, pray for the nation and the protection
of our borders at this time of crisis. Pray against any attempts by terrorists,
etc. that would attempt to hit us elsewhere, as our attention and resources are
directed towards assisting New Orleans and the region.

FROM THE
PUBLISHER OF THE ELIJAH LIST, STEVE SHULTZ:
Dear
Elijah List Readers (and those you are free to send or fax this article to),
We are in a week of giving out pre-posted or pre-documented prophecies that
foreshadow, in very obvious ways, this current tragedy in the South; especially
New Orleans, but including other areas as well.
Please, please, PLEASE be clear that our purpose is NOT to brag that the
prophets were right. God forbid! Rather, it is to state that God is on the
throne, that HE knew all along what HE would allow for HIS purposes, and what
and how we should pray -- before, during and after the event.
Most of all, please pray for mercy for those who have survived and also for
those yet to be rescued. God has HIS purposes. We have ours. Our purpose is to
share the Gospel, the kindness and mercies of God, to give to the poor, and on
and on.
Let God do HIS work, and we should do ours . . . show and pray for mercy!
Go to our site this week at
www.elijahlist.com and look at earlier words that speak of other accurate
prophecies about New Orleans and floods. We have yet another prophecy to
disclose tomorrow. Remember that our Bible-studying life is filled with
researching Scripture where prophecies were given in advance -- then, the
fulfillments came. Then, we are amazed that God was always on HIS Throne and in
control of the affairs of man.
For instance, one day Jesus stood above Jerusalem and bemoaned their rejection
of their Messiah. Nevertheless, He also simultaneously prophesied that
they WOULD see Him again when they were saying to Him, "Blessed is He Who comes
in the name of the Lord."
Most bad prophecies are followed by prophecies of blessing and restoration:
Luke 13:34-35
"O Jerusalem,
Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I
have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under
her wings, but you were not willing!
"Look, your house is left to you desolate. [However, I yet prophesy to you] I
tell you, you will not see me again until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in
the name of the Lord.'''
God loves restoration and so should we. He
loves restoration of Jerusalem, He loves restoration in the United States, and
He is loving the restoration of New Orleans, currently in process.
Here is yet another accurate prophecy by Kim Clement about the short season of
impending judgment for New Orleans! This was given only about five weeks before
Katrina hit New Orleans.

This word is from July 22nd, 2005, in Houston, Texas, where Kim called out a
Pastor friend (Garland Bilbo from New Orleans, LA), and the word seems to be
pertaining to the impending damage from the coming Hurricane Katrina.
As you know, Kim is not one to prophesy judgment, and tonight in Hollywood, he
had everyone in the meeting pray for MERCY for New Orleans. However, this was
the word that came and has been taken seriously.
It is in mp3 format so you can hear how Kim delivers the word. Just click on the

P.S. Garland Bilbo was present
in Kim's meeting on 7/22/05, visiting the Christian Life Center (Pastor Richard
Rodriguez was hosting the meetings), where Kim called him out and began to
prophesy about New Orleans, the city where Garland presently pastors. Of course,
what came out of that was chilling, even then to those that heard this word. The
beauty of it all was not just the fact that God shared the secret of a judgment
that was coming, but that it was given in order to strengthen those beforehand.
And it also would be a sign that it would precede the time of His great promise
for August, September, and October of this year, in which He said that a window,
and eventually even a door, of Heaven would open for the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
Let's proceed together now, with faith, and become partakers of the promise.

Servants of God:
Enough of past curses reminding you of yesterday's failures. Enough of New
Orleans and its treachery!
Enough of stealing the Ark of the Covenant from my people just because you had
those surrounding you that had no faith. Caleb said we are able to take this
land. Joshua said we are able to take this land. But ten voices arose against
the Lord God, and they would stone my servant Moses and say let us stone them
and raise up another leader so that we may go back to Egypt. Would you go back
to your dung? Would you go back to your vomit?
O New Orleans, God speaks to you from Houston tonight and says "Enough of this!"
"For a judgment is coming," says the Spirit of the Lord, "and I will take the
men that have stood in faith and raise them above the flood that shall
destroy those that constantly bicker and stand against my servant Moses, or my
servant Bilbo. I want you to understand there are great men in New Orleans that
have faith, but you have been set aside, not to lose but to win.
Enough of this!
For I will take the curses, and the bodies will even rise and they will come
forth on the water. But I will keep you, and the stench of death will only last
a few days.
And then, what I promised two years ago will come to pass for August, September,
and October of this year; I made a promise it would happen. God said, "Be
strengthened now. Be strengthened now, for enough is enough," says the Lord.

In the Wake of Rising
Waters – How We Can Help the Victims of Hurricane Katrina
With the flood waters that continue to rise in some areas that were devastated
by the weekend ravage of Hurricane Katrina, the need is urgent for people
everywhere to assist the various groups and help bring aid and relief to victims
of the monster storm.
Certainly, an important part of the healing of last December's Tsunami in
Southeast Asia, was the way groups and people from all over the world sent
funding for help. Below is a list of some of the main organizations involved
with relief efforts for the gulf states, should our readers want to partner with
them.
Of course funding is needed for these efforts, but the Red Cross is also asking
for blood donations as there is now a shortage.
The American Red Cross:

As Believers, prayer is our first and best response, but just as important, is
the physical help we can bring to others.
