Jeff and Angie Stolba: Strengthen Your Stance in Wisdom and Worship!

History in the Making

Truly, a time of historic change and significance is now before us! This is a time of shaking and great exposure in the midst of Kingdom advancement!

Many things will be new in this season. Furthermore, that which is new can come with limited understanding. This limited understanding of the "new" can, unknowingly, usher in preconceived thoughts and ideas not based on biblical facts. This is where the enemy can get a foothold in our lives, for it is in our human nature to desire to understand what we do not yet fully comprehend. He sees our position and situation as an opportunity to deceive us by filling in the spaces with false narratives. This is why we must be alert and active in the pursuit of guarding our hearts, because the course of our lives will be determined by what is rooted deep within our hearts.

"Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life." (Proverbs 4:23 NLT)

Wisdom and Understanding

The following Scripture is so important in the active pursuit of guarding our hearts that I decided to share three different translations to get the entire concept.

"The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it costs all you have, get understanding." (Proverbs 4:7 NIV)

"Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment." (Proverbs 4:7 NLT)

"The beginning of wisdom is: Get [skillful and godly] wisdom [it is preeminent]! And with all your acquiring, get understanding [actively seek spiritual discernment, mature comprehension, and logical interpretation]." (Proverbs 4:7 AMP)

Solid biblical and godly wisdom will serve you well in times of shaking, movement, and exposure! It will be like a rock to stand on when the winds of the storm are raging around you!

Remember, the truth will always stand strong amidst tough questions, and false narratives will crumble under the weight of the same questioning! Guard your heart by getting wisdom and understanding through biblical truths and asking the tough questions! (Photo via Unsplash)

Worship

Establishing a true heart of worship can guard your heart from the lies of the evil one in many ways.

Worship will lead you to the courts of Heaven, where truth and godly judgments will be rendered (Psalm 100:4 NIV).

Worship acknowledges your dependence upon Almighty God (2 Chronicles 20:21–23 NIV).

Worship silences the accuser and the tormentor (1 Samuel 16:14–16 BSB).

I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying, "I am calling you back to the heart of worship at this pivotal time! Truly, make Me your everything in this hour and do not get caught up in the cares and distractions that can so easily beset you. Prioritize your time in worship to Me, as I am drawing you back to a place of simplicity. Let Me be your highest priority and focus! Seek first the things of My Kingdom and all other things will truly be added to you (Matthew 6:33 BSB).

"I have secrets in My heart to reveal to you as you linger in My presence through prayer and worship. Allow Me to fan the embers of your heart back into flame, for I am stirring up a hunger in you for greater things and closer intimacy with Me!

"Seek Me in wisdom and worship, for I desire greatly to receive your worship and to grant you My wisdom in this season of great transition and exposure! Come close to Me, for I will do this," says the Lord of hosts!

"Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price." (Isaiah 55:1 ESV)
