This is not in response to any recent events, nor is it intended to speak of particular individuals, counsels, etc. This is a broad, sweeping prophetic word about what the Lord is doing globally and how we can posture ourselves correctly in this season before the Spirit.
A Season of Purification
Right now God is purifying His Bride and especially the prophetic movement! We are in a season within the Body of Christ where high and lofty things are being brought low under the judgment of God. He is exposing the biased perspectives through which we filter each other and our prophetic words.
He is also exposing the self-centeredness, immaturity, moral failures, hidden sin, hypocrisy, self-promotion, and pride that has paraded behind every pulpit and between every pew. He is revealing that no matter how powerfully or passionately a word is released, it doesn't mean it's from Him. Likewise, He is also revealing that no matter how charismatic, influential, or powerful a person is, it doesn't mean they are anointed by Him.
He is also calling out the wider Body of Christ where we have lacked in our responsibility to rightly divide and test not only preachers, but also prophetic words and the character and track record of those through whom we receive.
The most profound truth that God is revealing to us right now is how, at the end of the day, everyone may think they are right in their own eyes, but really we are all wrong in one way or another, while He stands righteous above us all. Greater Consecration
There is a groaning coming from the throne as Jesus is passionately interceding for His people to come into greater consecration, greater holiness, and greater death to self so that we might be trusted with greater glory. Simply put, He is at war with anything in His house that is not in perfect agreement with Him, His character, His nature, His Word, or His Spirit.
Every other idol and altar is falling... primarily the idol of SELF.
How We Are to Respond
The appropriate response to these "falls" should be a healthy and extremely humble fear of the Lord. We must be very careful what and whom we are quick to point the finger at in judgment within this time, for pride and self-righteousness always go hand in hand.
God has given ample time to focus on removing the log within our own eye, and now He is warning that—no matter who we are, what our ministry is, how much money we have, who our connections are, who our spiritual daddy is, what network we are a part of—NONE OF THAT will make us exempt when the finger of God comes.
The safest place to be right now is on the floor before the Lord. Our hearts are in the wrong place if we are cheering on the downfall of others. We should be crying out to God to search and expose any wickedness in us and give us grace to deal with anything privately before we, too, are exposed publicly.
He Is Preparing His Bride
Let me be frank when I say this: When it comes to Christ receiving the reward of His sufferings in a pure and spotless Bride, His primary concern is not our feelings; it's our consecration. And that is really what this season of judgment is unto... the preparation of His Bride. (Photo via Pixabay)
Those Who Carry Breakthrough
For those of you who have been affected by the heaviness in the atmosphere, YOU ARE NOT CRAZY; YOU ARE CARRYING BREAKTHROUGH. The intercessors can feel the weight of the groaning in the spirit. You can feel the weight of God's grief over the condition of the world.
Intercessors, you may be misunderstood, but make no mistake, what the Spirit of God is doing through you is shifting and lifting things. You are carrying the labor pains of the greater glory that is about to be birthed in the earth.
Don't give up. Don't check out. Go into the "wail of travail." And please, for Christ our Savior's sake, don't stop until He is finished!
God is not a man that He should lie, nor will He be mocked. We are about to see people reap what they have sown, be it the flesh or the spirit.
Lord, I ask for grace to come on all those whom You have chosen to remain after all that is shaken can be shaken.
