Heirs of Abraham Coming into Their Inheritance
When I was spending time with the Holy Spirit, He quickened a passage of Scripture to me out of Galatians 3:
"Now the promises (covenants, agreements) were decreed and made to Abraham and his Seed (his Offspring, his Heir). He [God] does not say, and to seeds (descendants, heirs), as if referring to many persons, but, and to your Seed (your Descendant, your Heir), obviously referring to one individual, who is [none other than] Christ (the Messiah)." (Galatians 3:16)
As I read this passage, the Holy Spirit said to me, "In this season, I am raising up the seed of Abraham and causing them to come into their inheritance in Me in ways that they've never experienced before, as the Holy Spirit confirms His Word (Jesus Christ) with signs, wonders, and miracles following!"
Who Is an Heir of Abraham?
Those who are the heirs of Abraham are not just the Jewish people, according to Scripture, but they are everyone who operates by the faith of the Son of God.
"And if you belong to Christ [are in Him Who is Abraham's Seed], then you are Abraham's offspring and [spiritual] heirs according to promise." (Galatians 3:29)
Jesus Christ is the Seed (or Heir) of Abraham, and because of our position of being found in Christ Jesus (because of our acceptance of Him), we too are heirs of the promises that God gave to Him.
You've Been Given ALL ACCESS!
While the Holy Spirit is the firstfruits of that inheritance, He has given us supernatural access to all of the rest of the promises from God. For it is through those promises and our participation in the Cross and the blood of Jesus Christ—by faith in Him—that we now have access to His presence, His power, and His person in even greater ways than that which Adam and Eve had in the Garden. This is why now "...all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us" (2 Corinthians 1:20). (Photo via Flickr)
From "Know" to "Overthrow"!
The enemy of our souls (the demonic realm) doesn't want you to know the truth about what the extent of your real inheritance is in this, because once you figure it out completely, his kingdom reign over your life will end as you begin to experience the full measure of what that inheritance in Jesus Christ really looks like!
I pray that the Holy Spirit increases the measure of truth that He has given you by releasing His Spirit of wisdom and revelation into greater areas of your life, so that you can truly apprehend the height, depth, length, and the breadth of all of His promises for you (see Ephesians 3:18)!
Not a Cheap Salvation
Press into those promises, heir of the Most High God, and don't stop until you receive everything that Jesus Christ shed His blood for you to possess! It's not a cheap salvation, and that inheritance is more than you can imagine!
