Vessels for His Glory
As Believers, we have been created, called, anointed and appointed to shake the nations with the glory of God. This calling and precious anointing shouldn't be taken lightly. It comes with tremendous responsibility. Just as Kathryn Kuhlman once said, "It will cost you everything," if we want to be used in miracles, signs, and wonders, we must pay the price. The Lord is calling us to a higher level of accountability.
God is not a taskmaster, and He will never violate your will, but to whom much is given, much is required. In order to be used as vessels of this mighty work, Jesus is beckoning us to walk closer to Him in deeper intimacy, and He requires us to have clean hands and a pure heart. As we grow, we will encounter higher levels of warfare, but He will give us the wisdom when it comes to the strategies of the enemy. He will show us the game plan to overcome every plot set against us.
The Lord wants dedicated Believers who give no place to the devil. He wants those with radical faith that go beyond the ordinary. If we humble ourselves and pray in accordance to 2 Chronicles 7:14, our prayers will eradicate the forces of darkness so that the enemy can no longer prevail.
Jesus said that you can't sew an unshrunken patch of cloth on an old garment or it will tear, and you can't put new wine into old wineskins because they will break, the wine will spill out, and the wineskins will be ruined. You need new wineskins so both will be preserved (Matthew 9:16–17). Then comes the crushing of the grapes, which is a stage that you go through to produce the new wine.
If we are going to be vessels used by God in powerful and effective ways, we need new wineskins to hold the new wine. We need to let go of the things that may be hindering the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. The Lord is looking for those whom He can trust with His anointing. There are some people, as well as some churches, who are running out of wine, and Jesus is going to come as He did in the wedding at Cana and turn the water into wine. The pharisaic paradigm and way of living will not accept this new wine, but those who are mature will be able to receive in abundance.
A Plan and Purpose for Your Life
You may be thinking, If we have authority over the kingdom of darkness, and we are called to shake the nations with the glory of God, why does it appear like the forces of Hell have been gaining ground and prevailing? Why is our country going in a negative direction? Because it's up to the Body of Christ to take back our nation.
"If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)
Every Believer has a unique purpose and calling in life, and the Lord is calling upon every one of us to step up and embrace what He has for us. He has a vision that He has placed in our hearts that needs to be fulfilled. If we are all walking in what we were created to do, we will make a profound impact on the world around us. What is His plan and purpose for your life?
A Call to Every Believer!
The Lord is calling the Abrahams! He says, "I've called you to be an apostle, the father to many nations. I've tried you and I tested you, and you were willing to give up that which was dearest to you. Your unwavering commitment and sacrifice have not gone unnoticed. "I am calling the Sarahs! Some are called to be mothers to the nations and some are called to be apostles. There are women who are more mature in years who will laugh when they hear the plans I have for them, because it is impossible to attain these things in the natural. To those who are spiritually barren: Sing, O barren woman! It's time to conceive the promised child that I've called and ordained.
"I am calling the Jacobs! I now call you 'Israel.' Through your winter seasons, I am working underground. As you allow Me to work deep within your roots, luscious fruit will come out from the dirt. I will give you access to a higher level. I will show you dreams. As you enter a new realm you will say, 'Surely this is the house of God!'
"To the Josephs: You once had a dream, but that dream was stolen from you. You are despised because you are favored. You have been put down and abused by others but have not taken offense. The pit that you were thrown in will eventually become your palace. The rejection, abandonment, and abuse will soon be a thing of the past. You have been falsely accused, but you never let go of your dreams. You will be a ruler over nations. I have given you a gift to discern the meaning of dreams. Others will come to you with their night visions asking for interpretation. They will call you a 'revealer of mysteries,' and you will prosper in times of famine.
"Moseses, it's time to raise your voice! Do not say, 'I am not eloquent,' or, 'I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.' Who made your mouth? I will anoint your voice and you will speak with authority. I am calling forth the Moseses to raise up Joshuas, to train men how to be strong and very courageous, to train them in leadership and how to be tenacious in spiritual warfare, to teach them how to be more than conquerors in every battle, to encourage them to pursue My plan and calling on their lives and never retreat.
"I am raising up the Deborahs! There will be some who are prophetesses and others who are judges, bringing correction and morality to a corrupt nation. They will rule with authority and release the prophetic word to the nations. They are spiritual leaders who don't fear warfare, but they instruct, share, and prophesy the battle plan of the LORD. They will sing a song of victory when taking back the land. Awake, awake, Deborah! Awake, awake! Sing a song!
"Samuels, you have been marked from a young age! You are called to be prophets to the nations. I will use you to raise up kings and prophets. There will be 'schools of prophets' to train others how to hear God's voice and prophesy with wisdom and revelation. You will discern false teachings and recognize false prophets, and none of your words will fall to the ground.
"I am calling the Davids! You are warriors and worshipers. You've cried out to Me and I've heard your prayers. The melodies of your harp have reached the heavens, and as you've worshiped Me in secret, I will reward you openly. You slew the lion and the bear, and killed the giant. You will raise up mighty warriors to do the same. You will train their hands for war and their fingers for battle.
"I am calling the Elijahs to train and equip the next generation! The Elisha generation will emerge with the Holy Spirit and power. Their prophetic words will come forth with boldness and accuracy. They will call down fire from Heaven to destroy the doctrine of the prophets of Baal and silence the false prophets. They will be fed supernaturally in times of famine. This is the time for creative miracles. In this season of encounters with the living God, they will minister with authority.
"I am calling the Esthers for such a time as this! Women of God, it's time to claim your inheritance. You have a blood covenant with Jesus Christ. Through your union with Him, you too have been claimed by God as His own inheritance. Before you were even born, He gave you your destiny, that you would fulfill the plan of God who always accomplishes every purpose and plan in His heart.
"I am calling forth the Naomis to train up the young Ruths – the godly women who will comfort and teach the younger women how to live a lifestyle of integrity, sincerity, and respect; to teach them how to walk in humility, wisdom, and honor in their relationships! (Photo via Wikimedia Commons)
"I speak to the Jobs who have been refined in the fire, tested, and tried. You will come forth as gold! The battles have been fierce, but you have not submitted to the adversary. Your feet have followed closely in My steps. You have not departed from the commands of My lips, and you've treasured My Word more than your daily bread. Receive your double portion of all that was lost!
"I am calling the Daniels who survived the lion's den, and I'm raising up apostles like the apostle Paul, who healed the sick and raised the dead! He was beaten, stoned, and shipwrecked but continued to preach Jesus' death, burial, resurrection, and salvation.
"Jonahs, you are running from the call of God on your life! If you walk out of My will, not only will your life be in jeopardy, but others in the same boat as you will be in danger. I am calling you to repentance, to bring revival and restoration to our land. I don't want to send judgment but mercy to deliver people of their evil ways.
"I am calling Lazaruses to 'come forth' and 'rise up, man of God'! It is time to take your rightful position as an anointed man of power and authority. You will see a resurrection of dead relationships restored, as many men will be renewing their vows to Jesus. It's time to throw off your grave clothes and arise to the fullness of what I have called you to do. You will be a sign and wonder to the nations.
"I am calling the Marys! They are those who are highly favored and are carriers of My glory. They are those who have said in their hearts, 'Be it done unto me according to Thy word' (Luke 1:38). They have abandoned their lives... They are those who are in labor and ready to conceive. They have been overshadowed with My glory, and My Word dwells in them. They will produce great things as they bring forth My promises to the ends of the earth. For with Me, nothing shall be impossible in their lives.
"I'm calling forth the Pauls who will be used mightily in this end time harvest! You have submitted to My call, and you have not denied My name. It's time to preach the Gospel to all living creatures. You will be used in the far corners of the earth. There will be many conversions, and you will be greatly rewarded.
"I'm calling every Believer to rise up and take your place in the Kingdom of God! It's time to take a stand to take back your land while everything is shaking that can be shaken. Don't shrink back in fear, but go forth in boldness, shaking the nation for the glory of God!
"And the Lord restored Job's losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before." (Job 42:10)
"For thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Once more (it is a little while) I will shake Heaven and Earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,' says the Lord of hosts. 'The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,' says the Lord of hosts. 'The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,' says the Lord of hosts. 'And in this place I will give peace,' says the Lord of hosts." (Haggai 2:6–9)
