I believe this is a time where many will be brought back to the beginning, back to where it all started; what the Lord said to you, how you felt, and what He birthed in you in that moment. You were young and fiery and full of faith and zeal. God could do anything. There were things placed in you that most couldn't understand or handle. You couldn't articulate it either, so you looked to those who came before you—those with maturity and experience, those who you thought would have the wisdom you didn't have. You listened and honored and obeyed. At times you felt in your spirit, "This doesn't feel like what I'm seeing and experiencing, but they've been doing this longer so I'll trust them." As time went on, you got further and further from the vision God placed in you. Then one day, you all but forgot what the vision was in the first place.
"When I was at my weakest, my enemies attacked—but the Lord held on to me. His love broke open the way, and He brought me into a beautiful, broad place. He rescued me—because His delight is in me!" (Psalms 18:18–19 TPT)
Entering the Wide Open Space
Today God says, "I have not forgotten, and what I placed in you has not changed, because I am in you and I do not change." Today God will bring you back to where it once began. However, today you go back with your own maturity, your own wisdom, and your own ability to articulate what God is saying and doing, and you will be able to discern. You will know when you have gone too far or not far enough. You will get past the narrow spaces that have limited the vision in the past and you will enter the wide open space.
"By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us—set us right with Him, make us fit for Him—we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus. And that's not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that He has already thrown open His door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide open spaces of God's grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise." (Romans 5:1–2 MSG)
Today you will experience what God meant when He said, "More than you can dream of..." (Ephesians 3:20, paraphrased). God will bring back dreams you were told were impossible, and you will see them happen almost as quick as you remember them.
"Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is His love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God! Never doubt God's mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! Redeeming the Time
You will experience a redeeming of the time. You won't even say, "I wish I knew this when I dreamt it the first time," because of "such a time as this" (see Esther 4:14). This is the time where all that He placed inside you comes to pass.
"And inasmuch as they gave the command to leave the stump and roots of the tree, your kingdom shall be assured to you, after you come to know that Heaven rules." (Daniel 4:26 NKJV)
"My passion is to enlighten every person to this divine mystery. It was hidden for ages past until now, and kept a secret in the heart of God, the Creator of all. The purpose of this was to unveil before every throne and rank of angelic orders in the heavenly realm God's full and diverse wisdom revealed through the Church. This perfectly wise plan was destined from eternal ages and fulfilled completely in our Lord Jesus Christ, so that now we have boldness through Him, and free access as kings before the Father because of our complete confidence in Christ's faithfulness." (Ephesians 3:9–12 TPT)
God never stopped doing it in the background, even when you stopped, so it will be as if you never skipped a beat. It will be better than you even imagined.
"From one man, Adam, He made every man and woman and every race of humanity, and He spread us over all the earth. He sets the boundaries of people and nations, determining their appointed times in history. He has done this so that every person would long for God, feel their way to Him, and find Him—for He is the God who is easy to discover! It is through Him that we live and function and have our identity; just as your own poets have said, 'Our lineage comes from Him.'" (Acts 17:26–28 TPT)
Yield and Watch
Don't try. You don't have to try. Just sit, yield, and watch. God is going to do it. God is going to show you just how faithful He is. He's going to show you that He didn't need you or your works. (Photo via Unsplash)
"All that He does in us is designed to make us a mature Church for His pleasure, until we become a source of praise to Him—glorious and radiant, beautiful and holy, without fault or flaw." (Ephesians 5:27 TPT)
God placed it in you because He desires you. You bring Him joy. Fulfillment of God's word in and through you brings Him joy. What will it matter what you've done or not done when you're walking in His fullness? Keep your eyes on Him, the Author and Finisher of your faith, and watch as God does it.
"And as Christ Himself is seen for who He really is, who you really are will also be revealed, for you are now one with Him in His glory!" (Colossians 3:4 TPT)
"Once your life was full of sin's darkness, but now you have the very light of our Lord shining through you because of your union with Him. Your mission is to live as children flooded with His revelation-light! And the supernatural fruits of His light will be seen in you—goodness, righteousness, and truth. Then you will learn to choose what is beautiful to our Lord." (Ephesians 5:8–10 TPT)
"For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth." (Deuteronomy 7:6 NKJV)
