As I was seeking God for the month of December, I found myself having two dreams. The first dream was on November 23, the day of Thanksgiving.
Dream of a Giant and a Forest
In my first dream, I found myself walking among many trees in what seemed to be a forest. I saw trees of all different sizes. Some trees were huge, while others were quite small. I also noticed that the big trees covered the small trees, and the small trees had no room to grow; they were choked by the big trees.
Then I saw what seemed to be a beast or a giant-like figure with four horns on his head, walking among the trees. Interestingly, some of the large trees were bending towards him, and he was pollinating them with his horns. As he did this, bees came out and stung those large trees that bent towards the beast. For a time, the trees seemed to be revived and grew, but then, out of nowhere, I saw a hand come down from Heaven and cut off the trees. I could still see the trunks, but the treetops were gone. Immediately, the young trees started to shoot up and rise! They started to shoot up like palm trees; they were upright.
Dream Interpretation:
This dream disturbed me, especially since I know that (prophetically speaking) December, or the number twelve (with December being the twelfth month), has to do with government. We know that Jacob had twelve sons who later became the tribes of Israel. Jesus Himself had twelve disciples. So I knew that God was giving me a message about the government, and I thought in my heart to go to the Word of God and see if there was a passage about a large tree being chopped down.
As I was searching through the Word, the Holy Spirit highlighted to me the book of Daniel. In chapter 1, Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem and attacked it. He took Jehoiakim, king of Judah, along with some of the articles from the temple of God and carried them off to the temple of his god in Babylonia, putting them in the treasure house of his god.
Then in Daniel 4, Nebuchadnezzar had a dream:
"These were the visions of my head while on my bed:
"I was looking, and behold, a tree in the midst of the earth, and its height was great. The tree grew and became strong; its height reached to the heavens, and it could be seen to the ends of all the earth. Its leaves were lovely, its fruit abundant, and in it was food for all. The beasts of the field found shade under it, the birds of the heavens dwelt in its branches, and all flesh was fed from it.
"I saw in the visions of my head while on my bed, and there was a watcher, a holy one, coming down from Heaven. He cried aloud and said thus:
"'Chop down the tree and cut off its branches, strip off its leaves and scatter its fruit. Let the beasts get out from under it, and the birds from its branches.'" (Daniel 4:10-14) (Photo via Wikimedia Commons)
Daniel interpreted the dream and told the king that the tree was him. Daniel told him that even though he had become strong, and his greatness reached the earth, he would be chopped. Daniel explained to him that things would be restored to him only when he acknowledged that Heaven rules (Daniel 4:26). Although Daniel advised him to break off his sins and turn from his wicked ways (Daniel 4:27), he did not. Interestingly, the dream was fulfilled after twelve months:
"At the end of the twelve months he was walking about the royal palace of Babylon. The king spoke, saying, 'Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?'
"While the word was still in the king's mouth, a voice fell from Heaven: 'King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: the kingdom has departed from you!'" (Daniel 4:28-31)
As I read this, I started to hear the Holy Spirit whisper in my ear, "I am coming against those who are in government, and those who govern My Church; I am coming, pride, injustice, and deceit. Those who grow like those trees and start to believe in their own strength, wisdom and might will be chopped down. And there is no favoritism. Those who allowed themselves to be pollinated by demons will be removed."
At the same time, God is making room for the righteous; they will grow and will be called "... oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of His splendor" (Isaiah 61:3).
Dream of a Snake – The Lord Will Crush Skulls in This Season
The second dream was on November 24, the day after Thanksgiving. In the dream, I saw a huge snake wrapped around a person's feet. The person could see the snake. The person grabbed a sword and tried to cut the snake in half, but then realized that the head needed to be cut off. So the person left the sword, grabbed a hammer and smashed the snake on the head. As soon as the head was smashed, victory came.
Dream Interpretation:
The Lord will be crushing some skulls in this season. I heard the Lord say, "Stand and see the deliverance of the Lord. This month will not be over before I bring deliverance and breakthrough. You are about to experience the grand finale of the year, the culmination of the Lord's favor and goodness. I am about to crown the year with My favor and goodness."
A "Grand Finale" December
God started to speak to me about December. It will be a month of "grand finale" for the remnant. God has kept the best for last. There will be an outpouring of new wine, and many will be surprised. It will be like when the master of the ceremony tasted the good wine at the end and said, "'A host always serves the best wine first,' he said. 'Then, when everyone has had a lot to drink, he brings out the less expensive wine. But you have kept the best until now!'" (John 2:10).
And so, as I prayed, I heard this word: "You are entering a special month where Heaven will rule over every injustice and oppression. The year is not over yet... Do not under estimate this month, for I am here to tell you that I have kept the best until last. This is a month of great victory; the grand finale is about to start.
"My arm will be revealed to you to perform the greatest of miracles, especially in difficult situations where all hope is lost and there are no signs of life. You will be in awe and wonder, saying, 'Lord, how did Your hand achieve this great victory?' (Wikimedia Commons)
"Do not be surprised or shocked when [you] wake up and find out big trees have been chopped suddenly – big names disappear instantly. I am not a respecter of people. They will be cut down with no favoritism, no matter how big they are. Many will not make it into the new year because I am cleaning out My country and My Church.
"The time has come for HEAVEN TO RULE. The government of Heaven will be made known in this time to many. But the head of the snake will not – that's manipulating those in government – will not be cut off; it will be crushed. Watch Me do this!
"Get ready to see the high made low and the low made high. It will happen suddenly and without introduction. Get ready to see My sovereign hand move people, with unexpected favor, toward you. The enemy was planning a disaster, but I have busted and frustrated his plans. Heaven inserted a different ending to what was planned, for there shall be ridiculous resurrection to what you thought was dead.
"You are turning a corner even in December, a corner you did not account for or plan. I decree to you that dead situations are coming to life, and difficult situations will end. It will be like the days of Esther, when the enemies of the Jews hoped to gain the control over them; it was turned to the contrary so that the Jews themselves gained the control over those who hated them.
"This is not the time to fear or doubt, but to believe and trust that I am at work and that you will see the greatest miracles of the year. This is the time to speak life over your dead, and say, 'Arise, arise, arise!'
"I do not leave things unfinished, for I, who started a good work, will bring it to completion. December will be a wild month of celebrations, for I will crown the year with My goodness and My favor. You will have to stand back and watch the rolling out of ridiculous grand finale events. December will end with fireworks, for you will see and know that I the Lord your protector will work all things for your good."
