This Purim, deliverance is needed again.

"Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?'... And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'" (Matthew 25:37,40)

The latest report is that as many as 10,000 Ukrainian Jews are fleeing the conflict and returning "home" to Israel.

Amid this horrific situation, Biblical prophecy is being fulfilled.

"'The LORD lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north and from all the lands where He had driven them.' For I will bring them back into their land which I gave to their fathers." (Jeremiah 16:15)

Unfortunately, most of them fled with just the clothes on their backs and a few personal items. "We went through a five-day journey on the roads," said Larisa, 33, who landed in Israel with her nine-year-old son and not much else. Her husband escorted her to the Polish border and then returned to Ukraine to fight. She is all alone.

We must reach out with God's love to those who are in need. In response, our Abraham's Bread Feeding Centers, which were already serving hundreds of Israelis each day, are stocking up and preparing to help the many Ukrainian refugee families.

Tonight marks the start of the Feast of Purim, a celebration of the deliverance of the Jews from certain death because of the courage of Mordecai and Esther.
