We took many buses heading towards the Moldova border to the city of Chisinauw and we called on our public to leave Ukraine immediately as long as it’s possible to do so and to not be complacent. The tendency to think that the danger will pass and to stay in place can be a dangerous mistake. Additionally, since the morning, we have been dealing with hundreds of inquiries from the Israeli public in Ukraine.
In direct contrast to Russia's lies that they allegedly only bomb military targets, all Ukrainian cities are aggressively bombarded with attacks from unexpected directions at all hours of the day.
Apart from heavy airstrikes, tanks, armored vehicles, and missiles; there is currently a Russian invasion of tens of thousands of infantry soldiers. There are many civilian casualties on the Ukrainian side and severe damages to homes and kindergartens.
Ukraine's government has declared Martial Law. It is a terrible situation; one in which we cannot survive for too long.
In the midst of all the chaos, we are making great efforts to save all the Jews from here. We have no other choice! Rescuing every person and family in these harsh conditions here is very complex!
We are writing to you from here in tears.
Our situation is very difficult and we need your prayers and help so please do not ignore us!
