Dear Pro-Life Friend,
Anyone who's not living under a rock knows the U.S. Supreme Court is considering – right now – whether or not they'll reverse Roe v. Wade this summer.
Will they whittle around the edges of abortion-on-demand – giving states the green light to save some lives by allowing Mississippi's 15-week abortion ban to stand – but allowing no further restrictions?
Or will they finally STRIKE DOWN the decision that has doomed more than 62 million little boys and girls to death at the hands of abortionists since 1973?
There are at least a couple of Justices who actually have no idea what they're going to do. And they likely won't make up their minds until the last minute – when they have to.
Until then, they'll have their fingers stuck way high in the air, trying to judge the political winds.
So, why in the world are our supposed pro-life Republican "allies" in state legislatures throughout the country signaling to the Supreme Court that ALL they want is more restrictions on late-term abortion?
Sadly, that's the "pro-life" GOP strategy grassroots pro-lifers around the country are being asked to rally around right now in states like Virginia, Wyoming, New Hampshire, and more.
I'm afraid this back peddling will only increase the chances that the Supreme Court decides not to do what they should and fully reverse Roe.
My name is Kristan Hawkins, and I'm president of Students for Life Action. We've trained more than 130,000 pro-life students and have 1,300+ chapters across all 50 states.
But we're more than just a pro-life student group. We're a coalition of BOTH students and adults dedicated to abolishing abortion.
As far as I'm concerned – with the 2022 primary season coming up – you and I need to send a LOUD-AND-CLEAR message to every candidate for public office, "Stand for Life, or prepare to be held accountable."
So, will you please click here to sign your Statement of Pro-Life Principles right away to help me send that message to politicians across the nation?
And then will you agree to your most generous contribution to help make sure that message has TEETH?
My goal is to collect at least 100,000 signed Statements of Pro-Life Principles, and the good news is, I've already collected over 20,000 signatures.
But if you and I expect weak-kneed politicians across the nation to take us seriously, we need to show them PROOF the numbers are on our side.
That's why your signed Statement of Pro-Life Principles is so critical.
The truth is, I'm frustrated that I even have to write you this email.
The U.S. Supreme Court had three chances to strike down Texas' Heartbeat Law, which bans abortion after a preborn baby's heartbeat can be detected (about six weeks).
And they haven't, yet, done so.
And during the oral arguments in December, the Supreme Court CLEARLY signaled they are willing to fully revisit Roe – and perhaps even REVERSE it.
The Justices have all but thrown down the gauntlet to the pro-life movement...
They've challenged us to show how strong we are, to show how serious we are about saving lives...
The more momentum you and I can create passing STRONG pro-life laws – like Heartbeat bills, Life at Conception bills, and Chemical Abortion bans – the more likely it is that's what the court will do.
But our "allies" only care about late-term abortion laws?
They're fine with 95% of abortions continuing, so long as they can ban a handful?
Our team and student leaders are being lectured by legislators and "insider" lobbyists that we should only advocate for and be happy to accept only banning a small portion of abortions...because that's all that's "politically possible."
And you and I are supposed to be "happy" with that?

This – and worse – is what's happening all over the country. For example:
>>> In New Hampshire, Republican Governor Chris Sununu signed a late-term, 24-week abortion restriction into law last year. But Gov. Sununu is trying to build his national profile. After facing pressure from the Abortion Lobby, he's now openly demanding pro-life Republicans GUT the very same bill he signed! Not only that, but he was caught on camera begging to send New Hampshire taxpayer dollars to fund Planned Parenthood!
>>> In Virginia, pro-lifers helped deliver a historic victory to Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin. SFLAction even knocked on tens of thousands of doors. But instead of capitalizing on the momentum, the Republican establishment held closed door meetings to thwart our efforts to introduce a Heartbeat Bill and instead is demanding we support only a late-term abortion ban that would allow for 90% of abortions to continue!
>>> In Wyoming (one of our Tier 1 target states for Post-Roe action), Republicans are working behind the scenes to once again KILL the Chemical Abortion Ban that Students for Life Action is supporting. Wyoming is a "trifecta" state – dominated by supposedly "pro-life" Republicans. So why can't they pass pro-life bills with teeth?
>>> In Florida, the pro-abortion Washington Post giddily reported "FL Republicans ditch Texas-style abortion law for what they call a 'generous' 15-week ban." The chief sponsor of the Florida late-term abortion ban, State Senator Kelli Stargel – a self-identified "pro-life" Republican – even went as far as to admit, "We're not banning anything. We're not being mean."
Truth be told, these actions by politicians don't surprise me. Everyone knows that most politicians love talking a big game but love the status quo, by and large.
But seeing our pro-life friends fooled, walking away happy after getting nothing but a pat on the head by politicians makes me furious.
I'm not going to stand for this.
With Roe on the chopping block, now must be the time for bold action in our states as Planned Parenthood and their multi-million dollar election machine will soon be entering every state legislative race to influence state houses and stop abortion bans from being enacted.
If you're with me, will you please click here to sign your Statement of Pro-Life Principles right away?

Primary season is on and politicians who can't find it in themselves to actually DO ANYTHING to deliver on the promises they've made to pro-lifers for these last five decades are going to have a hard time.
Students for Life Action has a massive army of committed, pro-life young people who are not going to take no for an answer.
Our young activists are not afraid to knock on doors, crash on couches, and work around the clock to save lives.
We're committed to abolishing abortion in America – not whittling around the edges of Roe and getting invites to fancy Washington, DC cocktail parties.
But I need you to put them on notice as well, Pro-Life Friend, by signing your Statement of Pro-Life Principles.
Tell them you're serious.
Tell them this isn't the time to go weak-kneed and wobbly.
Tell them you're fed up with the status quo.
And tell them they can either stand with the pro-life movement and help us save lives or they can find another job.
The sooner you and I send that message, the sooner abortion is abolished in America.
After you've signed, Pro-Life Friend, please agree to your most generous contribution as well.
Whatever you can give – whether it's $100, $50, $20.22, or $10 – please give generously.
Your contribution will help ensure Students for Life Action is no paper tiger.
There's so much at stake for the pro-life movement right now.
It's time for the pro-life movement to show the days of being taken for granted, ignored, and placated are OVER.
The time has come to FIGHT like we never have fought before.
For Life,

Kristan Hawkins
