My name is Ilan, and I operate an organization called Israel Children Cancer Centers.
I am reaching out to you directly as we were just introduced to a little girl named Vera, who is unfortunately in urgent need of a treatment in Israel that her parents cannot afford.
Vera was born in Ukraine with a congenital heart defect, a rare and dangerous disease. After undergoing complex surgery as a baby, her condition stabilized, which comforted her family at the time.
Recently, a routine checkup revealed that Vera developed an aneurysm of the right ventricle in her heart. Now she needs emergency heart surgery, without which the aneurysm would rupture, and she would not survive. Such sophisticated medical procedures are not performed in Ukraine, so Vera was approved for an operation at the Israeli Sheba hospital, known to have one of the best cardiology departments in the world.
