Dear Faithful Friend,
Seventeen hundred women and children in Abuja, Nigeria, huddled together crying out to God for the safety of their loved ones.
They were waiting for their husbands and fathers to return from "stealing" food from their very own farms.
You see, the Fulanis, an Islamist terror group, had killed off many from their village and had stolen their land.
Why? Because they are Christians!
Few are aware of it, but Nigeria is the most dangerous place in the whole world for Christians today.
Islamic terror groups like the Fulanis and Boko Haram have killed tens of thousands of Christians and driven the survivors from their land.
In the "Middle Belt" of Nigeria, over 2 million Christian families have had their farms and lands stolen and been left homeless, their lives and livelihoods destroyed.
Today, I am asking you for a $30 gift that will allow us to rescue a Christian in Nigeria (or in another persecuted area), and restore their life.
My name is Jeff King, and I'm president of International Christian Concern.
Every year, 200 million Christians face persecution – but the press is silent. Many pastors and lay people don't even know the extent of the war being waged on the Church worldwide.
ICC is like no other group helping persecuted Christians today.
We go where no one else can or will go, where missionaries know they will face cold-blooded slaughter.
We work underground with indigenous Christians who have already put their lives on the altar knowing they may be killed for what they do.
When a pastor is killed we rescue his family, getting them to a safe place with food and shelter and the ability to provide for themselves for the long term.
When a church is attacked, we help to get it back up and functioning.
We work in the most dangerous places in the world including Nigeria's Middle Belt, Afghanistan, and even North Korea.
So please, if you are able, donate $30 today to help us provide hope for persecuted Christians around the world.
Persecution is a complex problem that can't be solved with just a handout, so we go deeper.
At ICC, we don't simply offer a bandage to "the wound" of persecution. We seek to break the cycle of persecution entirely.
In Nigeria, we could hand out food and tents to the homeless victims of Islamic terror but that wouldn't solve their core problem.
Instead, we give the survivors the help they need to restore their lives rather than a temporary fix that would quickly fade.
We get those farmers left homeless and destitute back to what they do best... farming!
Our staff on the ground in Nigeria arrange with village chiefs to provide a large tract of land (for free) to help their victims. Then we bring in tractors to clear and till the land.
Finally, we provide seed, fertilizer, irrigation equipment, and whatever else is needed to get the farmer started and back to feeding their families and countrymen.
Now the incredible thing is that we can get a Christian back on their feet and providing for themselves for only $30 in Nigeria! Not $30 per year, or $30 per month -- just a one-time investment!
Will you donate just $30 today to provide us with the resources we desperately need to assist survivors of religious persecution with the means they need to rebuild their lives?
- In Nigeria, only $30 is needed to get a Christian farmer back on his feet and providing for his family again.
- In India, $100 allows us to equip a church planter with a new bicycle that will double or triple the number of churches he can plant.
- And if you're in the position to give even more...
- In North Korea, $200 allows us to send multiple Gospel messages in via radio.
- In Nigeria, $500 allows us to purchase irrigation pumps for 4 farms.
- In Afghanistan, $1000 allows us to rescue a Christian family from being murdered by the Taliban.
- In Nigeria, $20,000 allows us to build a fully functioning farm that will feed a small village.
On your own, you can't physically be with victims in Nigeria or Iran.
You can't walk into a village in India to supply a church planter with a new bicycle or 100 Bibles.
You can't rescue a pastor in Afghanistan that is about to be murdered by the Taliban or stream the Gospel into North Korea.
But working together, you and I can do all this and more!
You can't even imagine how grateful these survivors are to be touched by the family of God 10,000 miles away after losing everything.
They see the Father in action, working through you, and rescuing them against all odds when they are at their lowest.
Watching our donors care for their brothers and sisters, I am continually reminded of Matthew 25:40: "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of Mine, you did for Me."
Thank you in advance for your support and God Bless,
Jeff King

P.S. Remember, it only takes $30 to provide one Nigerian family with food and farming for a whole year or to bless the other victims of persecution around the world. These brave victims of persecution desperately need your help so please partner with me today as we build and bandage the Church in the most dangerous places in the world.
