About the Author
 Pamela Noel was raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and is board-certified doctor in internal medicine and infectious diseases. She currently practices infectious disease medicine in Tampa, FL. She is married and has two children. She has participated in several medical mission trips to her native, and beloved country of Haiti during her medical training. She founded HELMT (Haiti's Elite Medical Team) Medical Center, a nonprofit organization that provides the rural poor living in the Northeast of Haiti with much-needed access to healthcare. She is currently working on plans to build a hospital for the poor in Limonade, Haiti. She has also founded ScopeShield, Inc. which currently sells personal protective equipment to several hospitals and other medical institutions throughout the US and is currently making plans to establish a manufacturing plant in Haiti that will provide job opportunities for Haitian communities and build the economy. Pamela Noel believes charity cripples those it intends to help. She has been called and assigned to invest in building and uplifting the poor by providing opportunities for people to care for themselves and secure a brighter future.
