The other morning I had an encounter with the Lord. I felt His eyes roaming the earth and I saw them fall upon faithful intercessors. My heart was undone; I began to weep and weep as I felt the Lord's heart was so moved by the faithfulness of many, many intercessors across the world.
Something else struck me greatly in this encounter. It was the purity of their hearts. They were not attempting to intercede and pray loudly to "be seen." Their most favorite place was the hidden place with Him. This is the place where they truly encounter Him and they have no desire to "be seen" or strive for something more, or parade intel and revelation they are receiving from the Lord. They are truly content in the place of friendship with God in the secret place.
"When you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you." (Matthew 6:5-6 NASB)
My heart was overcome by feeling the heart of the Lord for these faithful intercessors. God's heart was SO MOVED by their purity and devotion to Him in the secret place. There is a great reward from the Lord that is upon these faithful ones in this hour, and in eternity.
I heard a DEEP, DEEP cry that was coming out of the hearts of these faithful ones and it was the cry of Psalm 84:10:
"For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside. I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness." (NASB)
Their greatest desire is to be with Him, to be in His presence, to linger with Him and truly know Him. They are truly friends of God. Some have been hidden away in the caves and the secret place, but this is the hour, this is the era, where the Lord is going to increase them in their assignments and in His favor and revelation for what He is going to do in the earth.
I was surrounded by a strong sense of the Lord's heart – that He can TRUST these ones with His revelation, with His divine intel and with His heart.
I then heard the Lord say:
"Their faithfulness to Me has moved My heart. They have not given their hearts to another. They are truly My friends. Their names may not be known across the world, but I KNOW THEIR NAMES. They have found favor in My sight. They minister to Me daily and greatly. These faithful ones do not come before Me for the intel they can receive to then parade or release from the wrong heart or spirit; they live in the reverence and awe of who I am and they intercede and cry out. "Many of these faithful ones have been in the battle of their lives because the enemy has come strongly against the assignments of intercession that I have given them, but NOW is their time for REWARD and RECOMPENSE. I am coming as the Avenger and I am releasing DIVINE JUSTICE into their lives, personally.
"Many in the earth may not know the level of warfare, the cost, the loss, the pain they have endured as they have stood in the gap in this hour, but I KNOW. I HAVE SEEN and I am coming SWIFTLY to REPAY. I am bringing with Me a sevenfold recompense. I am coming swiftly with deep refreshment, deep healing and deep empowerment for these faithful ones.
"Many of them have become very weary in the battle but NOW I am breathing upon My faithful intercessors; they will be restored, increased and set alight by My fire in their hearts in an unprecedented way. There is a deep strengthening by the power of My Spirit upon many of their physical bodies also, as they have been worn down in this hour. Many of these faithful ones of Mine have cried out for the healing of nations, the healing of others, and they have been suffering in their own bodies. I am coming to bring divine HEALING to their bodies and a strengthening upon them so that they will RUN and NOT be weary, walk and NOT faint (Isaiah 40:31)."
Crossing Over the Threshold
There has been major war for many of these faithful intercessors in this hour. They are facing intense warfare because of what is happening in the earth, but the Lord also showed me that these faithful ones are crossing over a threshold. Though there is war at the threshold, I saw the Lord standing with them as a WARRIOR. The dread champion was standing with them.
I began to ask the Lord what this threshold was and I heard Him say, "They are crossing over this threshold into the deepest level of My divine intel, instruction, wisdom and mysteries that they have ever walked in before."
He continued to speak:
"The enemy has come against these faithful ones with such strong intimidation to shut them down, to close their mouths, to steal their voice and to cause them to withdraw. But this is the hour where I am bringing these faithful ones into such a deep level of My divine intel, instruction, wisdom and insight for this era, that through their prayers, their intercession and decrees, there will be a mighty demonstration of the unlocking power of My Spirit.
"Right now the enemy is attempting to keep everything in LOCKDOWN, but I am raising up an army of faithful intercessors with pure hearts that know Me, that carry such divine intel, instruction, wisdom and strategy that as they pray, intercede and decree, there will be major demonstrations of the power of My Spirit, bringing significant UNLOCKING in the assignments I have given them.
"These faithful ones – they wait at wisdom's doorway daily, waiting to hear the word (Proverbs 8:33-34); they live in the place of Matthew 4:4 and they minister to Me. They live before Me as the audience of one, and I truly honor them for their partnership with Me in all that I am doing in the earth."
I Will Surround You Like a Shield from the Words of Mockers
There are new intercessory assignments that the Lord is releasing right now to the intercessors, and some of the strategies the Lord is giving them seem different and "out of the box," but His word has been tested and confirmed and they know that this is the strategy of the Lord.
I want to encourage you, intercessors, first and foremost, remember to use discernment with whomever you share the intel and assignments the Lord is giving you. For the Lord showed me that there is a religious spirit and a mockery which the enemy wants to bring upon you, to cause such a strong intimidation that you withdraw from the assignment because of confusion, doubt and persecution. I know there are very many intercessors who are doing things in secret and under the radar. You have divine assignments from the Lord in intercession that are done in secret, and I want to encourage you in this hour, in the increase of the assignments God is releasing to you, to continue to use discernment regarding those whom you share the assignments with. The Lord has and will continue to bring a community and tribe around you in this hour to run with you, but not all are called to run with you on these assignments.
Many of you are receiving specific assignments for nations and the divine intel has begun to increase rapidly, but it is going to increase in greater acceleration leading up to Rosh Hashanah and beyond. Intercessors, pay attention more than ever at Rosh Hashanah this year, beginning the eve of September 18th, for the Lord is going to give you very specific DIVINE DIRECTION for these assignments, nations and for this new era. The intel the Lord is giving you is so deep and so significant that it is going to bring a MAJOR UNLOCKING of the Lord's plans and purposes in the nations.
Where words may come against you, where that spirit of mockery may come against you, I saw the Lord SHIELDING YOU. The Lord wants you to be encouraged and to rest in His protection. Remain in discernment and remain in the place of being guided by His Spirit in stewarding this divine intel, and know that you fight not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers.
You will be even more aware in this hour of how many more are with you than those (the enemy and his demons) that are against you. There are armies of angels that the Lord is sending and surrounding you with to help fulfill the intercessory assignments He has for you. The Lord is going to open your eyes like Elisha's servant to see in the spirit like never before. Angelic activity will be seen more than ever before.
Listen to the Intercessors
I then heard these words thundering around me: "LISTEN TO THE INTERCESSORS." I felt the Lord's heart so intensely when He spoke those words.
Leaders, in this hour more than ever, those intercessors that the Lord has brought to you, those that are hearing the voice of the Lord, those that the Lord has shown to be trusted intercessors, listen closely to the intel they are receiving even if it's challenging or stretching. Do not allow preconceived ideas, agendas, presumptions, assumptions or control hinder you from hearing the voice of the Lord through the intercessors He has brought to you.
Take the divine intel and strategy to the Lord that they are submitting to you and seek His heart over it, for there are keys being given to leaders right now through this intel.
Many intercessors are receiving what is going to position them for this next move of the Spirit of God and correct alignments. The divine wisdom and intel that He is releasing will be SOME of the keys that the Lord will give you for bringing an unprecedented, unlocking move of His Spirit in your midst; they will position you to understand what God is doing and wanting to do in your nation.
