"Stepping Into the Era of New Wine"

Over the last few days, the Lord has been speaking to me about the new era that He is commissioning for us. The Lord is taking us into a place a of new wine, along with a fresh perspective. The Lord has a fresh perspective and reinvigoration for our families, but also for our nation as a whole. The following Scripture is deeply prophetic and is an indication of what is to come!

From Water to Wine

John 2:1-11, "Now on the third day there was a wedding feast in the Galilean village of Cana, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus and His disciples were all invited to the banquet, but with so many guests in attendance, they ran out of wine. And when Mary realized it, she came to Him and asked, 'They have no wine, can't You do something about it?'

"Jesus replied, 'My dear one, don't you understand that if I do this, it won't change anything for you, but it will change everything for Me! My hour of unveiling My power has not yet come.' Mary then went to the servers and told them, 'Whatever Jesus tells you, make sure that you do it!'

"Now there were six stone water pots standing nearby. They were meant to be used for the Jewish washing rituals. Each one held about 20 gallons or more. Jesus came to the servers and told them, 'Fill the pots with water, right up to the very brim.' Then He said, 'Now fill your pitchers and take them to the master of ceremonies.'

"And when they poured out their pitcher for the master of ceremonies to sample, the water became wine! When he tasted the water that became wine, the master of ceremonies was impressed. (Although he didn't know where the wine had come from, but the servers knew.)

"He called the bridegroom over and said to him, 'Every host serves his best wine first until everyone has had a cup or two, then he serves the wine of poor quality. But you, my friend, you've reserved the most exquisite wine until now!'

"This miracle in Cana was the first of the many extraordinary miracles Jesus performed in Galilee. This was a sign revealing His glory, and His disciples believed in Him."

The Era of New Wine

The Lord is bringing us into an era of new wine! When Jesus was in Cana and changed the water into wine, the master of ceremony marveled at what was being brought to the wedding feast!

The Lord is saying that the old ways of operating and that the old wine served a purpose for several generations. But now He is going to cause us to pour out new wine. As we abide IN HIM (John 15:7), and as we are mindful of Him, we will be carriers of the new wine. The new wine is found in intimacy. It is the type of intimacy that will bring us into a place of remembering who we are and that we are seated in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6).

There will be a demonstration of the power of God, like never seen before, that will not only be seen from Alaska to Florida, but from the United States to the world. For the whole earth is groaning for the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8:18-19).

Just as there was a demonstration of the power and glory of God during the wedding feast that Jesus attended in Cana, there is about to be a demonstration of His power and His weighty glory, within the earth, with His sons and daughters.

The Lord is saying the only way that this can happen is by His Church coming into a NEW PERSPECTIVE! Just as the master of ceremonies tasted the NEW WINE, he had a FRESH PERSPECTIVE of what was happening in the now! When the eyes of our hearts are opened to what He is doing, we are then in a position to pour out from this place of intimacy and love.

I'm hearing the Lord say, "Stop looking back to what happened in the past (your past hurts, shame, issues of trust) and begin to walk in the new!"

Genesis 19:26 (NASB), "But his wife, from behind him, looked back, and she became a pillar of salt."

The Lord is saying that it is time for you to walk in your royal identity. The identity that marks you as the Bride, the one who is set apart to radiate His love and glory. 1 Peter 2:9, "But you are God's chosen treasure – priests who are kings, a spiritual 'nation' set apart as God's devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience His marvelous light, and now He claims you as His very own. He did this so that you would broadcast His glorious wonders throughout the world."

There is a place that we have in the heavenlies that marks our royal identities. I heard the Lord say that our royal place in Him is our rightful place and our actual place. The way in which we are to walk this out and the way that we are to tap into this place is through intimacy, face-to-face encounters, and remembering who we are in HIM.

The Lord is marking us all for a generation. He is marking us to be holy carriers of His presence so that we can walk in the high places where He walked. Let's continue to move forward in this NEW ERA of "Bridal Presence." In this era of understanding who He is, let us also understand whose we are.
